Stargate Command Center resurected Bill in Goauld sarcofag, so our survivors can find the source of infection and destroy it once and for all. Problem is that its not on Earth. Important: 1. Before playing the map I recomend writing in console: snd_rebuildaudiocache You will be able to hear my custom sound 2. Bots sometimes are useless. Sorry for that. If you find any bugs tell me and I will try to fix it asap. Also review if you like it ;)

Pros:
stargate sg1 audio form clips for stargate tv showe custom model of the stargate that works to a pont
Cons:
bots in some parts are useless had to use sv_cheats to get thru it to finish not very detailed looks plain in spots cud use more work and details .
Conclusion:
the bigist down side for this campaign for me is the bot nav i like campaigns that have good nav so i can finish them with out useing cheats and this go for all campaigns i dont like campaigns that force you to play them with other players cuz i dont always have friends to play with and i do play solo most of the time.
Pros:
- Stargate. - Original ideas. - Custom sounds & TV show sounds. - Great Cheyenne Mountain. - Challenging puzzles. - Funny references in animated textures. - Nice Skybox on climax map (referencing Abydos with piramid). - Stargate Model, kawoosh and steam on the gate desactivations are great. - Gas mask on map 3 is funny idea.
Cons:
- For a FINAL version of one campaign that i've been waiting long time, i fell bit dissapointed. (Campaign design is the same that screenshots/trailer published since 2 years more or less.) - Big empty areas without decoration. - The base is not SGC base. - Modeling and decorations of maps its so simple for a final version. Sense of emptiness & unfinished work playing this campaing goes with you all the time. - Some areas in base should be empty of zombies. O'Neill and Teal'c stays at control room with zombies and dont kill them??? - Some navigation problems with bots makes me restart map. - Few times you dont know what must be done to continue. - In map 4, in underground tunnels with vehicles moving - Lot of Tanks + Navigation bots problems if you play alone = Epic fail - Instant kill on lava is not welcome idea, when the jump is not clearly remarked.
Conclusion:
The campaign is generally great. And for a big fan of Stargate like me is a great campaign to replay it a lot of times. But the sense of emptiness running on SG-4 corridors and outerplanet is very important. Keep working on this. SG-Fans will be waiting for new versions of the campaign. Anyway, when you publish that you were working on this campaign 2 years ago, more or less... You published some screenshots and one trailer with the unfinished design of the campaign. When finally released, i feel there aren't any changes on that places. I hope you keep working on this, because ideas on it are originally wonderful. I think, this campaign is for friends gameplay. Because if you play alone, several times navigation and bots will be the reason for try again. Thanks a lot for the campaign. And please stay keep working on this. New versions will be better and i will keep waiting for them.
Pros:
Creative fun replayable loved some of the references hard liked the custom texture-work definatly some funny moments to be had plenty of ammo nice finale skybox/map

didnt like the fact that you couldnt just pick up the saferoom card at the start. seemed like you were trying to make the map longer then it had to be ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Too many tanks on the first map though I got through it WITHOUT CHEATS with no damage on advanced solo --------------------------------------------------------------------"the thing" level- tank spawns behind unbreakable door and you can just lock him in there causing a suicide on its part. rethink the door. ------------------------------------------------------------------- The entrance to the lara croft tomb was a bit odd wall didnt break till everyone was in. maybe make a timer or a switch or something? Also that whole area was kind of hard to figure out ------------------------------------------------------------------- The cardboard cut-outs were a bit cheesy. unless you were simply doing it for the lolz ------------------------------------------------------------------- sometimes a bit hard to navigate can get confused (level 4) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Finale was really tough, impossible solo without cheats ------------------------------------------------------------------- rescue animation was a bit odd ----------------------------------------------------------------- You should warn people about the expolsions on the finale it wiped out my whole team
Conclusion:
all in all I really enjoyed this map. There are certainly things I would change about it but regardless its fun. I reccomend playing it with friends. Kinda too hard to solo. Lots of custom textures, fun references and just overall fun. Certainly replayable. reccomended difficulty due to tanks is advanced

-Stargate -Nice graphic -Things are realistic -Surprise and cool -Not just simple straight line killing zombies -Challenging -Nice concept: gas mask fire extinguisher explosion tanks

-The gate is kinda laggy when opening -Known issue: has to wait for the bots sometimes, specially in Map4 when changing to other place -Feel like there are some area that could be fill in more stuffs and be more detail -The voice kinda too low to hear, have to depend on the words -seems like map instruction in first area in map 4 kinda too many words -Need a little more hint to find the button in map 4
Conclusion:
My friend and I do enjoy playing your map. A lot of cool things and interaction. The lava map have to think awhile how to get across it.The voice actually work without the console. For suggestion, I do think the length of the map can be a little longer. I can see you put a lot of time in it Thanks

Hi, a tip for the custom sounds issue.
Just before you are ready to make the final .vpk file, copy the directory path of the sound dir. Should look something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\addons\YOURCAMPAIGN\sound"

Start L4D and open the console. Write "snd_buildsoundcachefordirectory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\addons\YOURCAMPAIGN\sound"

This will create an audio cache file in the sound folder. Make your .vpk and upload it. This way, the custom sounds will work for everyone without having to rebuild the sound manually.
