This is daytime for l4d2 no mercy. I hope you will like it! Have fun! If you have any good idea, plz report it! okay, someone report the withes problem, I will remove this and update soon, thanks for your playing!! The next update will last to next year summer! But I still think the witches are not problem if I am member of valve to design it. Just give some smart skills to avoid or kill them.

Pros:
o An alternative to vanilla No Mercy (which isn't saying much, there are better alternatives)
Cons:
o uneven, inconsistent changes from nighttime to daytime o too many witches o other than these changes not enough changes to make this a worthy alternative to No Mercy o Finale is ruined by excessive witches o Have I mentioned a lot of witches?
Conclusion:
In the history of bad, poorly thought-out ideas, few rank as high as the ones implemented in this mod of No Mercy: the maiden voyage of the Titanic (launched with fewer life boats than needed), the doomed flight of Amelia Earhart, the invasion of Russia in winter by a certain Western European despot, George Lucas directing the new Star Wars trilogy and then there's No Mercy Daytime. While on the surface this idea seems novel and full of potential, it's the execution of these changes that is so poorly and incompetently handled that its leaves one scratching their heads if the mod maker made any effort at all. Even if the idea was simply to update the look of the map, its evident from the spotty and inconsistent alterations that a minimum effort was given by the author. These poorly handled changes can be seen throughout the campaign: while external areas are brightly lit, interior areas such as the offices and apartments that make up vanilla No Mercy still bear the look of a nighttime interior. Compare this to daytime maps like The Parish where internal areas are properly lit because light is coming in from the outside. It's obvious that the map maker simply adjusted the outside lighting and changed the skybox and called it a day. The only other obvious change beyond the poorly executed "daytime" effect, is the inclusion of witches, particularly on the last two chapters. This is another element that demonstrates the author's complete lack of care for his/her work. The witches, instead of heightening the tension, actually make the entire experience a tedious bore as one is either forced to cap them repeatedly (slowing down the action) or suffer their incapacitive wrath. To add a cherry on top, the finale includes a crowd of infinite spawning witches which makes any kind of defense extremely frustrating, if not impossible, without alarming a witch. I am sorry, but calling this a campaign mod is an insult to other mods and their authors who actually put effort into their work. No Mercy Daytime is the product of an exuberant, if naive, mod author who got carried away with the L4D2 map tools but forgot to make it fun or interesting, it is the epitome of more is less. Calling this a campaign mod is the equivalent of duct-taping wings onto a car and calling it an airplane. It just doesn't work. *sidenote: I am resubmitting this review because my original review was taken down without notice, despite the fact that it did not violate site rules. I suppose my mention of a certain despot offended the delicate sensibilities of some despite completely overlooking my OBVIOUS satire. I have since revised this review to ensure that the offending bit is removed but my opinion of this campaign has not changed, it still sucks. Stay away from No Mercy Daytime.

some enviroments look like theres nightime so many witches in the hospital chapters

There are alot of wtiches in the map so be careful! I was playing this in singleplayer expert and the bots were scared sh*tless when ever they see alot witches XD they wouldn't move so we were pretty much playing follow the leader L4D edition must give it a 9.7

Jogabilidade, texturas e sons excelentes ! Leve para baixar e não deixa a desejar em nada pelo tempo que leva para chegar na última fase.
Cons:
A única coisa estranha foi na fase 5/5 onde depois de acionar o rádio, fiquei quase 1 hora de jogo lutando somente com Witch, pois nem as hordas e nem infectados especiais apareceram. O helicóptero de resgate também não apareceu. Não sei se é uma estratégia do jogo ou algum probleminha.
Conclusion:
Jogar esta campanha de dia deu vida totalmente nova a ela. Já começar o jogo com hordas derrubando portas e vindo do telhado (1/5) ao mesmo tempo serve como treinamento para continuar. A quantidade de Witch dentro do hospital é uma coisa fantástica pois dá muita aventura ao jogo. Tem que ter boa mira pra economizar munição pois a todo momento e em cada esquina encontramos zumbis pra matar. Na última fase (5/5) as Witch sempre vem, contudo nem as hordas, infectados especiais e nem o helicóptero de resgate chegou.

I strongly disagree with you and your harsh choice of words Balance of Power. This map is great and i fully enjoy it. I'd love to see Death Toll in day time.

While I enjoyed this I will echo the opinion that there are too many damn Witches. Even on easy it's hard to wade your way through them. The WORST must be the first and second parts of the third mission and the rooftop final level. It's bad enough with all the normal Witches but there are an UNREALISTIC number of Bride versions that alert the horde. Was there a mass wedding on the helipad when the infection struck? Over all it was enjoyable, just reduce the number of Witches and put in some Ceda zombies along with the road crew and riot police ones. The custom graffiti was also nice. Also why are there multiple dead bodies of Rochelle and one of Ellis as well more dead Witches and Train car Tanks around?
