Description

The survivors find themselves trapped in the suburbs with Devil Mountain looming large in the distance, its emergency beacon activated. Is it a call for rescue, or a warning of danger? Climb the back of the beast and find out!

Devil Mountain is a sprawling Left 4 Dead 2 campaign set in a semi-rural mountainous region. It features five meticulously detailed maps with diverse environments, clean layouts, and thoughtful pacing. 

Each level was carefully planned to provide a distinct and memorable experience that stands out from the others. In their journey to reach the summit of Devil Mountain, the survivors progress from the suburbs through a quarry, hike up a mountain and explore a cave. Meanwhile, night turns to day and back to night again as a storm passes through, giving each map an atmosphere that is unique.

Additionally, map 1 and map 5 feature survival game mode variations, allowing players to fight off endless hordes of zombies at a house in the suburbs or at a fortified museum on top of a mountain.

Another campaign I forgot to review

Overall it's a great campaign with high quality. The details are nice and the overall layout idea is creative. But many areas are too open, and the details and design of different parts of each map gives me a samey feeling. What's more, the second map is not well made. Other than that, there're not many shortcomings.
