  • Pros:

    The maps are extremely accurate with the original game this is from, both graphically, and musically
    
    Very creative adaptation for things like web-burning, redeads, Poes, and the monster hand.
    
    The darkness in the tunnels in the first map is great! Makes you feel like you're in the real game.
    
    LOVE the adaptation to the end level boss, puts in a bit of comic relief :)

    Cons:

    A bit too dark in some places, hard to see where to go/what to do
    
    Boss at the end is hard to beat with so many zombies.
    
    A few glitches makes the game play difficult.
    
    I did not find med kits at the beginning or near the beginning of the first map. Perhaps make these more accessible at the beginning?

    Conclusion:

    The maps themselves are very creative.  I love how the temple itself is all one map.  It's a bit of a setback if you aren't sure where to go or what to do, especially for those that haven't played the game itself before.  
    
    The use of molotovs to burn the web and melt the ice on the eye is wonderful creativity. I remember playing this temple in the original game, and having trouble finding all the keys, and so it reminds me of the game, because my group did find them all, but it took puzzling out. Very good job with that.  I also have to give props for the redead, and making it react in the way a redead would.  The big monster hand too, was extremely original as well! Love the creativity that was used to make this map work well!
    
    The only things I would rate low for are the few glitches that we came across, and the end map.  
    
    There is a glitch that when you die, and the other survivors come to get you down in the tunnel connecting the wells, that you end up spawning under the map and are stuck, and cannot get out. That should be fixed up. :)  
    
    There is an invisible ladder on the second map, near the big blocks you have to push around. It could be a glitch on my end, but I thought I'd point it out in case its not.
    
    The end map is extremely difficult, even on Easy mode. Way, way, WAY too many zombies and special infected for anyone to be able to complete the boss level. After several attempts we were forced to give up out of frustration. Perhaps tweaking that and toning down the zombie mobs and S.I. would be beneficial. I would love to see the end cinematics. :)
    
    All in all, very well done and put together. Textures and the 'transition' darkness (especially in the first map) were great. :)
