      Hold the fort

      Plenty of supplies,no need to worry about ammo or throwables.
      Challenging but not too difficult.
      
      Downsides were its confusing where to go on some maps without any instructions.

      • almost forgot, ryok left Source to work in Unreal Engine and his own other future projects, he legit abandoned his Left 4 Dead works
        i don't remember all the details or history, but Huck looked him up and spoke about all his previous maps.
        he might've found him off my own friends list, i don't remember, it was a long time ago.
        but yea, this one and ryok's other works were legit passed on.
        that's all i'll say for now, one last attempt for being on the same page about at least one thing.
        if we could just have one moment to listen maybe we could understand each other.
        we don't have to be friends, but we don't have to be enemies either

      • for the record, the workshop upload you commented on, that was an actual thief.
        this one was indeed approved by the real author... we were all friends once, the same development team.
        ryok sent huck all the files and let him take it over.
        so this is indeed still the actual same campaign, along with freezer burn, zombies form planet x, for example.
        i'll just leave it at that for now.
        but the different cold cases never had official left 4 dead 2 ports, so that one is indeed all on huck.

        As for Discord, yea, but I rarely use it... I don't even remember why I got it, maybe for communication with friends on my servers.

      • the first map still has a crash at the spot with ambulance... both original and this version.
        also, I see you put the block on again... why is that? I thought we were past this now after our workshop discussion topic chat.
        or did you find old stuff here again that happened BEFORE we spoke?
        I was ready to start over but if there's something I'm missing maybe we can be grown ups about it and try again.

      More Like Fort Kickass

      PROS
      Good custom voice
      Good military environment
      Good finale layout- item placement kept me moving around
      Keeps L4D1 item placement
      
      CONS
      A bot got stuck after the cannon event, didn't want to follow me .
      In the finale, bots didn't want to grab weapons or health at the start.
      Next to the radio, bots didn't want to grab weapons, either, so I had one end up on pistols when it didn't need to
      Couldn't find ammo pile or health during finale
      
      CONCLUSION
      A good, fast campaign. A few bot glitches, but that's about it.

      Pros:

      Cool maps, layouts, over all pretty fun

      Cons:

      Crashes right out of the gate on level (2?). Right when you get to the ambulance..right to the desktop.
      
      

      Conclusion:

      Would be great if you fixed it. Maybe add a few more maps. We were having fun playing it until the crashes. I tried it twice and same time - crashes.

      Pros:

      ======= In general =======
      + Long for only 3 maps.
      + Very good lighting.
      + Partly very good AI navigation.
      + Good level design.
      + Challenging finale.
      + Enough supplies.

      Cons:

      ======= Map 1 =======
      - Radio not playing any music.
      ===================
      
      ======= Map 2 =======
      - No sign to stay out of zone til explosion.
      - Bots take time to step up once under the little vent.
      ===================
      
      ======= Map 3 =======
      - Bots only use pistols.
      - Not enough throwables.
      ===================

      Conclusion:

      Nice campaign for playing about 30-50 minutes. Well done, the finale was a bit tough.

      Pros:

      Nice challenging maps
      
      Liked the dialogue at the beginning
      
      Level design is nice
      
      Good for a quick run through at about 35 minutes on easy.

      Cons:

      Sometimes the AI wouldn't help me. A couple of times I was caught by a smoker and I had my entire team essentially ignore me until Rochelle decided to save me. 
      
      Not clear on why the elevator to map 3 was so smoky. Was the downstairs on fire or something or did the fog effects leak into the elevator?
      
      Not much of a variety on weapons until close to the finale. 
      
      No dialogue from the radio at the end 

      Conclusion:

      This is a nice challenging, yet quick, campaign with lots of twists and turns and exploring. The AI have some problems that may prove lethal, but I think it's still worth a go.

      Pros:

      1st level had a nice design 

      Cons:

      1st map kept crashing to desktop about 10 minutes in.
      kept doing it , got tired of it , didnt bother playing the other maps . fix the glitch as it does it on every pc that my friends have too. 
      

      Conclusion:

      got frustrated on map 1 as it kept crashing to desktop . i didnt feel like playing the other maps for this reason. 
      fix the problem with the first map .  even viewer reports its a graphics issue . none of my other add on campaigns crash so its this mod

      Pros:

      -Not too long, not too short. Just the perfect length for a quick play through.
      -Well designed.
      -Bots had an easy enough time navigating.
      -Howitzer crescendo is pretty cool.

      Cons:

      -Could use a bit more weaponry. 
      -Finale bot navigation seems a bit off.
      -A little too foggy on the finale, as well.

      Conclusion:

      All in all, this campaign is pretty good fun. I enjoy playing through it every once in awhile. Its got a lot of potential, and really just needs some fine-tuning. It is a little dry as far as weapons go. I only got tier 2 weapons on the last stage. Also, the bots seem to have problems on the finale. For instance, as soon as you get off the elevator, the bots will not grab either tier 2 weps or health kits, and they wont follow to well around the rooftops. In the end, a good campaign to have.

      Pros:

      Love the intro
      Exterior design was nice (area before entering Fort Noesis)
      Wasn't too difficult to navigate

      Cons:

      Some invisible stuff
      AI refused to leave the saferoom? [Map 2]
      AI refused to take stuff (medkits, weapons, etc.) [Map 3]
      Infected spawning out of nowhere??

      Conclusion:

      I'm not good at all the technical terms (I always go huh? when I see people talking about the textures of the map), so I'll just say whatever comes to mind that affected the gameplay experience.
      
      
      There were some invisible boxes I think? Couldn't tell since I couldn't see it, only realised it when for some reason I found something blocking my way though it seemed as though nothing was in front of me...didn't affect the gameplay, but just thought that I should point it out.
      
      In map 2, Rochelle refused to leave the saferoom, so I just went on without her with the other two AIs. Reading the other reviews, it seems as though this has only happened to me, so I don't think it can be fixed? I'll play the map one more time again to see whether it happens again. (she suddenly appeared beside me about halfway through the map though; thank god for bot-teleportation)
      Oh, and I love how the second safehouse was a lift. Yeah I know it doesn't really make much sense to put a safehouse door in front of lift doors, but kudos for creativity ;)
      
      Map 3 seemed to have the biggest problems. The smaller issue was that in the area outside the lift, when I was healing myself with the medkits provided on the table in the corner of the room, a whole horde of Infected suddenly just appeared in front of me, like literally, as though they just teleported there or something ._.
      I dealt with that okay, but still, it just...it shouldn't happen y'know what i mean? Yeah...
      
      My biggest gripe is that in the entire Map 3, THE AI REFUSED TO TAKE ANYTHING! Be it pills, medkits, weapons...I dunno why, they just didn't! Even when they ran out of ammo, they just switched to their pistols instead...am I the only one experiencing this problem?? I guess this would only be a problem if you play alone when trying out new maps, like me =/
      
      But on a more positive note, I felt this map was pretty well-designed! I especially like the beginning of the map, like the intro and the design of the area outside Fort Noesis. I really wish you could expand that more, like maybe an additional level where you'd have to maybe go through the forested area first before reaching Fort Noesis. Yeah, 4 levels instead of 3 would be awesome =D
      Also, not once did I get lost, so yeah, kudos for that too! I'm not sure what you call it, you have...great mapping skills?? Yeah ;D
      
      Overall I think this is a campaign worth downloading! 8.5/10 =)
      ( will give a better score if my suggestion of an additional map is taken into account and realised ;) )

      Pros:

      Nice and thought out ideas for maps
      I like that the Maps were different and creative
      

      Cons:

      No medic packs at the finale! Very important detail!!
      After the cannon is fired, gate doesn't collapse. when it finally comes down, it kills us all!

      Conclusion:

      I liked playing this campaign. Nice and long and fun...

      Pros:

      Outdoor areas are excellent.
      Good finale.

      Cons:

      Indoor areas are a maze of constant 90 degree turns made of  boxes, shelves and fences.
      Interior brick wall texture is visually clashing.
      A lot of empty rooms.

      Conclusion:

      This campaign starts promising - a beautiful but short run through a nicely constructed outdoor area outside of a fort.
      
      This is followed by generic, flat grey rooms with a maze of shelves, boxes and generator prefabs, and then another maze of tight office hallways. 
      
      Every time you get to go outside, you are treated to a very realistic looking place with some nice detail and construction.  Sadly, the majority of the time is spent indoors with the bland design, layout and colors.
      
      For the finale, the rain was falling without a sound (only occasional thunder).  The finale layout is similar to the No Mercy rooftops, but with washed out greys and a military theme.  It was a nice layout, but it was difficult to find the radio (which had no audible radio message once activating).
      
      If the indoor areas were made to look unique and interesting, this would be a definate keeper.  As of now, they are just a slog to get through to enjoy the outdoor excellence.

      Conclusion:

      Ok campaign, one main issue with playing single player is the AI on the final map. They refuse to pick up weapons/health packs at both locations (outside of elevator and in radio room) and get easily killed during the final just using pistols and no health packs. I tested it multiple times and maybe 1 in 3 will take a weapon if they are pushed into them by the horde. I would have rated it higher if not for the AI issue on the final map.

      Nice background
      Liked the pathfinding

      Need more weapons !
      A bit short

      Conclusion:

      The ammount of ammo was correct, but i've played it several times, and there was always these f***shotguns instead of having any other weapons. There was only some weapons in the last room, but we would have loved finding other ones to change during the game.
      I 've put 85 but with 2 more maps and assault weapons it would worth 90
