      One of great campaigns about Italy to play

      This is sure one of great campaigns that is as good as the famous old campaigns. The latest update finally fixed the random crash problem in map 4. Supplies in this campaign are enough. There are also some spots that give good weapons in early play if players explore carefully. Bot navigation is fine. Hints & directional arrows are also clear so players won't have a problem in finding the paths.

      There are many explorable places to check for supplies. Some maps are long enough to be almost as equal as 2 maps long, but it's no problem as enough supplies are provided & players can enjoy the views around while exploring. There are some missions in certain maps, but the hints are clear enough so players should have no problem. The finale is long but fun, as players can run while enjoying the scenery, & the difficulty is balanced.

      In short, this campaign is very recommended to play with bots or friends. If you have ever played great campaigns about some countries like "Tour of Terror", "Day Break", "Farewell Chenming", "Cambalache Buenos Aires" etc, this one is also as good as those famous campaigns. This campaign can't be missed to play.

      Modesty in the Mediterranian

      Pros:
      * Supplies are (for the most part) distributed reasonably.
      * Most areas are sufficiently detailed.
      * There were a few times where I got lost, but eventually found my way.
      
      Cons:
      * Survivor name list is out of order.
      * No intro music.
      * Tier 2 weapons available in map 1. They should usually be put off until map 2 or 3 in a campaign that's 5 maps long.
      * I wouldn't put a Hunting Rifle at the start of map 2. Bots cannot use sniper rifles to save their life, making this more of a hindrance (not to mention it's still too early for Tier 2 weapons).
      * A lot of blatanty borrowed assets from Half-Life 2. The combine tech and the character ragdolls are a particular example.
      * Saferoom music at the start of Map 5 doesn't play.
      * Music for the tank in the middle of the finale doesn't play. Music in general stops at this point.

      Solid campaign

      +
      great attention of details on levels
      plenty of supplies
      -
      need optimizations on some areas
      map 4 and finale map looks rushed needs more polish
      ***
      I tried the version that map author sent me and I finished the entire campaign with no crash.
      But when I tried the map 4 again with noclip cheat and reach this location my game crashes to desktop.

      Easy to proceed, but lack of quality and optimizations.

      Overall map design, it is fine and easier to proceed. Second chapter is too unoptimized and it gave me serious lag even on saferoom. And I feel this campaign is empty such as large areas and not very detailed. If you spent more time into making more map details and optimizing overall maps, it could be one of awesome campaign.

      Pretty fun and unique campaign! Author tries to innovate by using a lot of HL2 assets and it's good! Only underwhelming map is the finale, the gauntlet is a bit too short in my opinion. Some areas in the maps are too open/bland but overall not a big issue. This one lags for a bit upon a new chapter because of all of the physics objects lol. The map design overall is pretty good, good supplies distribution, and good map design.  Navmesh can be a bit of a problem if a survivor bot gets knocked into an area with no navmesh, forcing you to kill them on single player. Also the saferooms are a bit scuffed, the area that is actually considered the safe room is very small and infected can even spawn in the safe rooms! Other than that no other issues found, enjoyable and worth a play!

        My pc is just fine and runs this game flawlessly pretty much all the time. Two crashes on the same map and ONLY that map will say there is an issue with the map. But I have also had no issues with maps that others had issues with. I had an issue with the finale too, bots wouldn't get in the boat. They were like right on the edge, but not IN enough for the map to end. That would be an issue with the map as well. For the most part I had no issues with this campaign and it was fun.

      • OK, I got through that wall. Map 4 crashed twice on me. Once in the middle then at the end when I closed safe room door. This campaign could use a few more arrows and ammo piles. Otherwise I like it

      • OK Thanks. Typically when an explosive is needed you can see the outline of it against the wall to show what you need like a propane tank etc. I figured I might have to get through it since it looks like a "break away" wall, but couldn't figure out what. I'll try again.

      • Inside the store you have to find 4 pipe bombs which glow when you are close to them, then go to the wall to install them.
        Anyway soon I'll release an update with that event made more clear and with better hints. Be patient for a bit more and for now try to do it as is =P

      • Same problem. I can't find my way off this map. I looked everywhere. There's a wall with an orange arrow, but no way over or through. There are some invisible items here and there and right in front of this wall as well. It looks like it comes apart by blowing up, but not sure what blows it up lol

      • I added some arrows in some places. I cannot put one every 10 meters =P after you blow up that wall, just go straight and then follow the road. You'll see the safehouse on your right, 3rd floor

      1. I felt this map was created with a lot of effort, with tons of custom textures. The atmosphere was good. but, compared to the large file size, the map design is not sophisticated.
      2. There weren't any major problems with the gameplay, but a bit boring.
      3. It often causes a crash. Even high-end maps like Chernobyl, Darkwood, WildRide, and Deep Phobia don't crash that much.
      4. But this map seems to have potential. Thanks for uploading a good map.

      Very cool campaign, with some minor problems.

      Very cool campaign.
      I tested on my dedicated server for up to 20 players.
      
      Just to report, but I saw that it has already been mentioned here:
      
      Map 1: ok
      
      Map 2:
      - A boot was far from the group, I was absent for a few seconds and
         the boot was teleported to the group again.
      - Some textures on plants and trees were (purple / black)
      - A few more direction arrows would be good.
      - Down a staircase in a building, all the bots fell to the ground.
      
      Map 3:
      - In the part of the wall that must be blown up, I had difficulty understanding what should be done, the text appears in the chat and in the Italian language, I thought that propane gas was 
        necessary, but in fact they were pipe bombs.

      • By purple/black he means like a checkerboard not one or the other. I don't know what causes it, but I see it a lot in custom campaigns, especially pallets for some reason.

      • Ah, about the black trees....if they look black, it might also be cool, like "strange" dead trees =P but purple....mmmm could you take a screenshot or something and post it somewhere? I thought I had deleted all the purple objects already, guess I've missed some.

        I just updated the campaign with the messages in English. 
        About that ladder on the roof, I don't know why sometimes the bots do that jump.
        In a future update I'll add more arrows on the 2nd map. Because of its short lenght, I left it as is

      • Dzhigurda, as far as I remember, right after I was hit by the spit I started "levitating". But it only happened in that part of the 3rd map (on the road before the safehouse, near that small park with the bench, next to the tree), nowhere else. If it's something that happened only to me and no one else, no worries then =P I played it with some friends of mine and they didn't encounter this issue. Anyway, try it in case and let me know.

      • Did you "took off" by spitter's shot (not while it was on the floor)? It's a source engine "feature" almost like "object boost", you can also boost someone with throwable/grenade laucher. If you renamed map after "buildcubemaps" they all screwed, you need to enter this command again, becasue all cubemap reflection textures has map name sewed inside of each.
