Good
Not totally perfect but it does its job well. Something i always wanted! Thanks!
Steep Cliff, Fatal Drop!
Pros: - Lots of small details - Balanced maps - Uses all the potential that L4D2 gives, without entirely breaking gameplay mechanics - Every map has its own highlights Cons: - Map 2 is a little short - Finding the right way in map 4 was a little confusing Difficulty Check: Every map is doable on every difficulty. Real L4D2 "pr0s" might be a little disappointed because they won't find a real challange here even when playing on Expert(Realism). Devil Mountain lines up at, and in some cases a little under the Valve campaigns. Crescendo Events: Nothing extraordinary. Vanilla L4D2 campaign style. Survival Maps: The Suburbs map is extremely over supplied and because of that is actually more a fun map. It gives you the opportunity to try out lots of stupid things. Just some small example: I found 6 Grenade Launchers .... Unfortunately the Summit map, which is more interesting lacks especially in Ammo Piles. With only one ammo pile and one place where you can get weapons, its interesting and tactical advantages are ruined. An Ammo Pile on the roof and maybe at the parking lot would make this map way better. Getting a gold medal on both map is doable however. Conclusion: Even though the first maps came out in 2014, Devil Mountain as it is now is one of the best campaigns in 2015. Especially the detail level of interiors, that are filled with lots of small props, is amazing. Every map has some highlights and got something to offer for everyone. Large & open areas, small paths. Day, Night and Stormy maps. Sure, for experienced players who look for a challange, Devil Mountain might be a little bit boring. That doesn't change the fact that this is still a smart and very well made campaign. Together with Fatal Freight and Dark Wood, Devil Mountain is one of the "must play" campaigns of an else pretty disappointing year 2015. 5 out of 5
Something else....
Pros: - Some fun map besides the usual zombie killing - BOSS FIGHT! - Plenty of stuff to keep you alive during the fight - Actually some decent idea..... Cons: - ...That isn't working - Bots are rather useless - Unsure what to do since the game instructor hangs itself up sometimes. Conclusion: I am aware that their had been claims that this map won't work on certain servers, though to some rather complex scripting. However, for me, this is no excuse. Left 4 Dead 2 isn't meant to work on modding the gameplay in such ways, and same goes for its servers. At least this map shows how it can be done halfways. I actually like the idea and with some friends it is quite fun evading the sawblades and stuff. But when the script stops working at the masks the fun is over and you find yourself in an endless loop of evading sawblades. That only is though if "it's the servers fault" (yea right....). Anyways, even if it works like it supposed to I wouldn't say that it's something I'd like to play again and again. Playing through it once basically is enough and after that you've seen literally everything. 2 out of 5 for the idea and the effort scripting it that way, even though it might not work.
I played through this on my dedicated Linux server w/Sourcemod and several plugins & mods and we had no troubles.
It must be a conflict with Sourcemod somehow... I'll have to experiment a bit to see if I can't find a solution... And if nothing else, I can always initiate plan B... and change how the second phase works...
It stays below ground?... Now that is definitely a problem... :| If you play solo offline... Does this still happen?... (Need to eliminate some possibilities...)
The Masks simply don't appear, they stay below the ground (you can noclip through the floor and then you be able to see and shoot them). Maybe make them look at the survivors everytime isn't even necessary. Place them in the 4 corners of the maps edge and just let them look on the actual map. I wouldn't actually bother that much if it's working better then.
And if you have any "suggestions" on how to fix the giant mask or what to replace it with... I am always open to suggestions an ideas...
Maybe some specifics on "Why" it isn't working?... Simply saying that "It isn't working" give me absolutely nothing to work with... And yes... it is the "mostly" server's fault... The script is looking for a player and their x,y,z position... There is nothing to lock onto "specific" survivors, it just chooses one at random (I think it goes for the closest at the time)... but so long as they were alive at the time of the mask coming up... it will look at one player till it is destroyed, and spawns again... The problem is when a server is modded... something like eight survivors for example... I am not sure what the exact issue is... but most servers that run something like this, the copies of a survivor still count as the original survivor... So when the mask suddenly has two different sets of coordinates for the same survivor... it does not know what to do... If you play on a standard server, or a local server... THIS particular thing will never happen... but I am aware that it will look at a dead body if the survivor died after being the "chosen" target... It is on my list of things to change... Along finding a way to have the saws ignore incapped people... I will either scrap the idea of it "looking" at you... or create a fail-safe to reset the mask after a length of time... I am sorry that your experience was not the most grant of things... but please... I need specifics if I am to fix it...
Nice L4D1 screenshots of super awful modded servers brah
Cons: - An already bad L4D1 map ported to L4D2 Pros: - If you lucky it just crashes Conlusion: ....is useless

A true love-hate
Warcelona got everything you would expect from a really great campaign. It's really polished, it got good ideas and the amount of gauntlet events is what every l4d2 fan have to love. How much fun and good times I have whenever I play it, the next time I play it again I just hate most things about it. I think the main problem is the often and quick changes of pace. It starts right at its beginning with a mid speed pace and then proceeds so quick to a more slow and careful pace untill the map 2 gauntlet event, where from out of nowhere, it goes fast pace again. This especially is even worse, or in some other cases absolutely great, when there is a tank before the event. And throughout the end of map 2, untill the second half of map 3, it always changes between highs and lows and after that it's pure gauntlet feeling, which I personally love! Now the problem with this is that, while the campaign tries to satisfy everyone with those quick and unpredictable changes, it often backfires, especially with lack of good communication and/or awareness of the team you play with. Anyways, I guess this campaign also feels good or bad depending on the mood you're in when you play it and, as mentioned before, of course the people you play it with. That said, I hardly can think of any other campaigns where those two factors came that much into play in l4d2 ever. It is a great campaign and when playing it multiple times it grows on you before you start hating it again :D
Valve should replace this for Cold Stream!
Pros: - Very polished - Perfect length - Perfectly balanced - Creative finale - Could be an official campaign made by Valve Cons: - No moment where you'd like to say "Aaaaah!" Conclusion: This campaign is like a XXL version of any stock campaigns of L4D2, which is, as the author claims, intended. So if you are a fan of any official campaigns you most cetainly can't go wrong with this one right here. It's just a little longer, looks just a little more contemporary and overall is just a little more than any official campaign. I can imagine that also people who like to get into custom campaigns, but are not experienced too much with l4d2 yet, would be pleased playing this. It also provides good support for any other gamemode besides coop which is a super rare thing for custom campaigns! Like said before: It's feels like any official map.... BUT BETTER!

I think he's talking about the length in terms of time-to-complete for the campaign, in contrast to its actual file size which I believe you are referring to. Most custom campaigns are abnormally large for some reason (maybe they're using 512x512 textures? dunno really), so I mostly agree with you. FF is barely 550 MB though which is hardly a huge deal in my opinion compared to some of the 2-3 GB campaigns I've seen. Thank you both for your feedback :)

Here they come...
Pros: - It didn't crash. - The first map looks mediocre. - There IS items in the 3rd saferoom! - Might be alright to play on normal on your own server where you have source mod and admin access. Cons: General: - Item placement is absolutely retarted! For example: There is tons of medpacks right at the start of the campaign, but not even an ammo pile in front of a gauntlet event. - The most boring places you can imagine in l4d2. - Broken events and mechanics throughout. - I counted 3 melee weapons in the entire campaign after a real thoroguh playthrough (Frying Pan x1, Guitar x2), except if you start from map 2 or map 3. Then magically there is melee weapons in the saferooms. :o - Throughout unbalanced. Map 1: - Tons of heal items on the first half of the map where actually nothing happens. - Some SI get stuck on some roof on the left side of the street. - The event with the keycard makes no sense. - The same event is broken! You use the keycard lock and it triggers a horde but the door doesn't open. You use it again and then be able to open the door by yourself. That works and triggers a horde as many times as you don't get tired of it btw. (probably you don't wanna do that even once!) - The same event is broken AGAIN! If you are unlucky like me and have a riot cop behind that unbreakable door you can restart.... there is no chance you can kill him or open the door, if you don't have a molotov or admin access on the server you're playing on. GENIUS! - No ammo piles, no tier 1 weapons except for pretty much at the beginning. This is unacceptable for a rather long map. - Second event, which is a gauntlet event has an impassable witch and literally almost no chance of not startling or killing her because there is not even one small break during the horde (some ppl might not know that obviously, but witches on Expert difficulty kill survivors instantly). Map 2: - No items in the saferoom.... not even an ammo pile, except if you start from this map. - Through the entire map you trigger a horde. Even if you don't move and do absolutely nothing! Here they come.... again and again and again. - The actual event on this map is terrible balanced again. - Terrible light and shadow effects in outdoor areas. Map 3: - Dull and boring enviroment - The event area has explosive barrels scattered all over the place. I guess they're there to help but they do the exact opposite. - While i like the idea of the event, it's in a place where it is almost impossible to kill a tank and a horde. So again: Unbalanced and actually unfair. Map 4: - The finale is from another campaign..... don't have to say more since some people here actually could guess what's the point here. Conclusion: Like recently many other "new" or updated campaigns again, this one is terrible! It's broken, it's unbalanced and it is not finished! The copy & paste finale from another campaign doesn't make it any better and it's a shame people get fooled into downloading this ("v2.0 Complete"), when this is clearly just a rip off and either got deleted from gamemaps before, because it never got finished or never got on this site in the first place, because the original creator didn't want to embarrass hisself. I could only guess especially missing saferoom items weren't a problem in the original unfinished version but you all know... why wouldn't there be now! Anyway, for me there is a clear lack of creativity combined with numerous bugs and overall unbalanced gameplay. While the first map still looks ok there is a huge drop in design the further you play. Since this is "v2.0 Complete" *sigh* it leaves me no choice to give this a 1 out of 5.

nice!
Pro Great concept "traveling" along in Jimmy Gibbs car. Unique "saferooms" that come along with.... ...really good events! Every map got a finale feeling like event. Custom tank and melee weapons. Good amount of supplies that are sometimes hidden or not accessable right away. (Map 3 & 4) For expert: balanced only just right (there is a huge difficulty difference between map 3 and map 4!) Great looking finale! Cons Nasty bug with the cutscene in the finale as mentioned in the comments. Map 1 & 2 look kind of avarage all good gameplay aside. No tier 1 weapons at start, which is a minor point and probably only a matter of personal preference. Conclusion There is a lot of china campaigns for l4d2. Some are good, some are... . This is probably the best so far, even though only 2 maps really play in a china based enviroment. Every map has a unique ending that replaces the classic saferoom completly, which is impressive. The campaign is balanced alright for all difficulties. What I liked best though was the supplies in the finale. They seemed very limited, but it came as some other things in this campaign, with a fun surprise!
^ ^ I agree with this guy
MEEEEEEH......
Cons MIC 1 maps lights in MIC 2 maps are now broken! Pros non anymore, since MIC 2 maps, which were the only good thing here, now look terrible. Conclusion Like the previous MIC 666 it's bad, unfortunately it's even worse. For everyone who enjoyed MIC 2, just stick with it since this here is not worth downloading at all and you're not going to miss anything.

Pros:
- Extreme large maps - Interesting Events - Good placement for supplies
Cons:
- Continous Server crashes on map 2 & 4 (Linux Dedicated/Vanilla/No other add-ons) - Part very poorly detailed - Some missing Textures (Map 3) - Some cloned houses and empty passageways
Conclusion:
This could be a really great campaign if it gets more detailed someday. The maps are large but most of the time look and feel just dull like the creator wanted to extend the time to play through it.... in a bad or incomplete way. However, if you like large maps with wide open space and like to explore maybe a little longer and don't care too much for detail i recommend you to play this. Anyone else maybe should take a look at it but shouldn't expect too much except for the brilliant events, if you ever get there and don't experience one of the many crashes that happen.
