We have dramatically changed the way you download content in the new GameMaps 2.0... Now when you download an item it is added to your download basket (queue). This allows you to browse around, pick which files youd like to download and when your ready you can download them all at once! *Download Basket / Queue - Add items to your queue and when your ready, visit your basket, select which items you want to download and get everything in one big pack! *Download Available Updates - When you download an item it will automatically let you know when a new update is available. New updates are displayed in the 'Available Updates' tab. You are able to manually remove items from the watchlist so you are no longer notified when an update is released. Now you never have to worry about making sure you have the latest version. *Download History - Every time you download an item it will be added to your download history. When you visit the details page of an item, it will let you know if you downloaded the item before and if so, how long ago. Since there are thousands of content items for games, this will be useful to know if or when you downloaded an item. ----------------- This sums up the new download system and should greatly improve your experience and convenience. In addition it will automatically select the fastest download server for your location so you get the fastest download speeds. The new download system has an issue that we are currently in the process of resolving. Downloading from the beta may error temporarily. Content uploaded through the beta will still allow users to download on the live website. We should have the beta download system working smoothly by next week. Regards, iLL
Hello, I don't know if the issue I'm having has to do with your new system or not as I did NOT use your new system when I recently UPDATED one of my mods and uploaded it. The name of the mod is Left 4 Dead 2.5 and it has had the same thumbnail for a long time. Keep in mind thumbnails have a very different purpose than screenshots. The purpose screenshots are to hopefully entice someone who has read the description to give the mod a try. A thumbnail on the other hand, IS AN ADVERTISEMENT. And an advertisement must attract attention. If it does so, someone will hopefully click on it and then read the description and look at some screenshots and give the mod a try. I once worked for an advertising agency as their computer guy and I picked up some pointers from the boss, so I do know what I'm talking about. But on a regular basis my thumbnail is being replaced with one of my screenshots (and not always the same one either.) So what I end up doing is re-uploading the thumbnail. But I should NOT have to do this, and in the past I did not have to do this! I'm not accusing anyone of wrongdoing at this time, but am operating under the assumption that this is the result of a bug and am letting you know about it as a courtesy. Sincerely, AlfredENeuman

Hello AlfredENeuman, It looks like the thumbnail was removed because it could have been mistaken as spam to push a political advertisement or message. However due to the political nature of the thumbnail, it may be replaced again. I am sure you could come up with something non-political and more related to the mod ;) Of course we cant have the community spamming political messages (any member). We dont want this site to turn into a political debate, next you'll see Trump thumbnails and Antifa Thumbnails if its not moderated. In the meantime let's see what happens. Regards, iLL

It has been quite an extensive amount of work to get this new download system completed.
