    | The Game Management system should only be used by players with extensive
    | knowledge of the game. The management role should be taken seriously with
    | the goal of setting up the game for the best possible outcome for visitors and
    | publishers. Game Managers can resign from their position at any time.
    |
    ------------------------------------------------------
    |
    | Once a game has been claimed by a manager, it will be removed from the list.
    | So if you are interested in managing a game, you should act quickly before the
    | game is claimed by another member!

    | Adding new games will become available shortly.
    ------------------------------------------------------

The ability to manage games is now available for testing. As a game manager your able to fully setup, configure, edit and apply themes to games. Additional features and options will become available as we fine tune the system. In this post we will go over the general process of managing games and how this can improve the users experience as well as provide benefits to your account as well.

    ** Getting Started **
When you visit 'My Games' in the members area you will see a 'Unmanaged' tab. These are games in the system that currently do not have game managers. In order to manage a game you must first have 10 content items added for that game. Once you have met this criteria and press the 'Manage Game' button, the game will appear in your 'My Games' tab where you can begin managing the game.

    ** Editing Games **
Editing games is fairly similar to editing maps and mods. Simply fill out the details, media, and begin setting up the tags. What's important is being able to classify uploaded content in the most user-friendly way. That's why your required to upload 10 content items first, now you can classify the content better as a game manager.

    ***** Map Modes *****
If your game supports custom maps at least one map mode is required. Even if there are not multiple modes for a game, you still must select one mode by default. Some games call them campaigns, some call them missions, etc.. In either case, you must specify at least one mode to be used as the default. Additional modes can also be added if needed.

    ***** Map/Mod Navigation Tags *****
The navigation tags under the Maps and Mods tabs are how users will find content submitted for the game. If the default navigation menu does not apply to your game, you can disable it by deselecting all the sub-menu options and then deselect the entire category. This will remove the default menu item and publishers will not see it.

You can add your own map navigation tags to better classify content. For example if your game has 5 available map sizes, you can specify the map sizes and allow the publisher to select a size when he/she adds a map.

    ***** Environments *****
Although we allow game managers to limit and specify possible environments we recommend you keep them all enabled. By enabling the environment its allows publishers to become creative and create content that fits within the environment parameters. You'd be surprised with the ideas people come up with, even if you thought it was not possible.

    ** Game Themes **
This section is still in extensive development and some options are not currently working yet. Your welcome to play around with the theme feature but keep in mind it's still in development. Features like text color and link color do not work yet and some wallpaper options don't work yet. Even though these do not work, your still able to customize the theme and apply a wallpaper and manage the CSS variables. Although we think this section needs to be overhauled we decided to let you play around with it anyways.

    ** Manager Options **
When editing a game you will see the 'Manage' tab. Here you can perform various tasks such as using franchise and expansion options. Franchise allows you bundle your game with another game title to include it as a franchise. You can also specify an expansion to your game as well.

    ** Forward Looking Statement **
In the future we will allow you to add additional game managers to help you manage the game and its contents. Game managers will also have the ability to manage comments, and edit content that has been uploaded to the game. You will be able to set your own standards of quality and expectations as managers to ensure visitors get an enjoyable experience.
