/-/-/ POTENTIAL UNDESIRED RESULTS
Due to the extensive cleanup during phase 1 there may be some undesirable results. These results may come from affecting your username, past reviews, profile messages, and comments. Although we do our absolute best to only remove profanity, spam and hatred; some innocent content including usernames may have been removed or censored. In such situations, you can edit and correct your affected items.

We do not suspect this to be a recurring situation because phase 1 also includes preventative measures and censors to prevent profanity and spam from being entered in the system. This is primarily to address years of built up content, spam, abuse and profanity.

Terminology
Edited: Items that have had their description, screenshots, thumbnails, tags, or settings edited to increase the listing quality and discovery.
Archived: Items that are abandoned can be archived, or items specifically specified to be archived. Archived files may no longer be supported or function properly and are intended to remain as a permanent piece of history.
Outsourced: Items where download files are not hosted on GameMaps and are being outsourced to an original location or alternate location requested by the original developer or current publisher. (eg, Steam.)
Disowned: When a specific content item looses its publisher rights due to a violation, ownership dispute or because the publisher wants to dis-associate themselves from the item.
Transfer: The ability to transfer a content item from one account to another with a collaborated agreement between two publishers. Often to resolve ownership and item rights.
Merge: The process of merging an items url, stats, comments, and data into a more dominant listing. This is used to remedy duplicate items, or two different versions into a single location without data loss.
Flagged Content: Content items that are automatically flagged for review through our series of algorithms to detect abuse, violations and other offensive content or behavior. All items that get flagged will be alerted and reviewed by staff.
Profanity Filter: A profanity word list that is used to censor comments, titles, descriptions, change-logs and usernames. This also flags the item for review and/or removal.
GameMaps Verified: When an item completes the verification process from a staff member it will become GameMaps Verified. A verified badge will appear on the item details page. If the item becomes flagged, or if the tags are edited, it will loose its verification status until the item is verified once again.
Policy Center: An account location that displays your account status in addition to any policy violations or disputes that must be addressed. Repeat offenders and those who fail to resolve policy violations may incur account restrictions.
Phase 1: Due to the extensive amount of tasks, the monetization process will be completed in phases. Because monetization is continuous process throughout the platforms lifetime, there is an unlimited amount of phases to be recorded. This is Phase 1.
