The past couple weeks we have really been focused on preparing the new gallery browser and file expansion plans. We have made great progress but are not quite ready to fully release these new features yet.  We suspect these new features will be released next week.

You can however enjoy adding gallery items directly to any addon by visiting the details page and clicking the 'Gallery' tab. From here you can add screenshots or images pertaining to that add-on. You will also notice a new 'Similar Content' tab which will show content matching the user tags. 

In addition to this, you probably already noticed the design has been undergoing some changes. We are still not done upgrading the design so you can expect the visuals to continue changing, thus improving visibility, ease of access and theme colors.

Platform Updates

 - Some major design and theme changes were added.
 - Publishers are now displayed on item results with avatars.
 - Additional credits will appear when hovering the publisher name.
 - A new tab added to details page 'Similar Content' displays content using the same user tags.

Gallery Updates

 - File details now have a 'gallery' button next to feedback where you can add/view gallery items.
 - Gallery items now display a view count.
 - You can now mark gallery items as NSFW / Mature content when editing.
 - Gallery items will no longer stretch images larger than the original size.

Tags/Search Updates

The search is now functional however We still have a decent amount things we want to improve over the coming days. We aim to further improve the results, display and enable more powerful search options.

 - Improved the suggested search results.
 - You can now search for content using the header search bar. (early development)
 - You can now click tags from a details page to access the tagged area.
 - The left navigation now has linkable locations in addition to filtering.

Publishing Updates

We have nearly finished the new files expansion and it should be available next week. This will allow you to upload maps, mods, games, demos, patches, guides, tools, etc... We aim to have every possible content option available to publishers.

 - You can now easily switch between 'files' and 'gallery' when managing your content.
 - The activity button for files is now located in the top right of manage content.
 - To combat trolls and abuse, Guest comments are now completely disabled from the live site.
 - The time of day 'dusk' and 'dawn' have been merged into one tag 'Dusk / Dawn'
 - Full Games and Game Demos have been combined into one area 'Games & Demos' (coming soon)
