We have been making great progress with the new GameMaps beta and we believe we are very close to being able to launch the beta in the coming weeks!  In addition to the ongoing updates we have been focusing on a few partnerships to assist us in our expansion plans. We are exciting to mention that we have locked in a new partnership with one of the largest gaming communities on the web and more details about this partnership will be announced in the future. 

Let's take a look at some of the recent updates below.

Platform Updates

- The new game homepage now displays all activity for that game.  For example at the L4D homepage you can view the most recent activity from Files, Gallery and Guides all combined into one section.  We plan to add even more community activities into this list and allow you to pick and choose what activity types display. Scrolling through the activity will continue to load more items.

- At the top of the site you will notice 3 new links "Files"  , "Gallery"  , "Guides" and clicking either of these options will take you to the more familiar content display. This is the primary section of each of these content types.

- The left sidebar now displays options depending on which "Files" , "Gallery" , "Guides" section you are viewing.  If you are viewing files, you will only see file options.   Maps will load only map options,  Gallery only shows gallery, and so forth..  To get back to the home screen simply press the home icon at the top of the navigation list. 

- You can now view game information for any supported game in the platform.  Simply press the small ( i ) icon located at the top of the navigation bar and the game info panel will appear.  This will give you access to the trailer, screenshots, description, release date and so forth for the game.

- We are always improving the design and visuals as the platform progresses and you may have noticed we have changed the platform font and a few styles.  (Fonts, colors, panes, themes, etc...)

- The new files expansion and the gallery is for the 'most part' completed although there are a few updates left to implement. Come next week you should be able to upload, browse, and download the new content types seamlessly without any restrictions.

With our upcoming partnership GameMaps will expand dramatically with an endless amount of supported games. We anticipate you will soon have access to over 100,000+ game titles and be able to provide content for any game in the world that you desire. We are going limitless!
