We have released some new features for publishers which will improve transparency, teamwork, and help resolve ownership conflicts. These features are brand new and improvements will be made after testing during the beta. --- Publishers/Developers/Credits --- When editing/publishing content on the beta you will notice the developers/credits section has changed. You can now easily add yourself, other GameMaps members, and non-members into the credits. In addition you can provide a 'title' (optional) which will be displayed under the members name. If you add other GameMaps members into the credits the published file may also appear inside these members profiles. Members who have been credited have the ability to hide which files appear on their profile by clicking the 'eye' icon next to your name in the file credits. Highlights - Add yourself to credits. (If your a contributor) - Add new users into the credits. (members/names) - Change the credits order. (Click and drag to change order) - Credited files can appear on all profiles. (See Developer Credits in members area) - See which files have credited your account. (See Developer Credits) - Enable/Disable which credited files appear on your profile. - Equally credit an entire team and display dev titles for any contributor. - Build your profile by collaborating and being credited across the platform. - Get notified when someone adds you to credits. - Members who have been credited may start a transfer request. (See File Transfers Below) Attention: The old credits system is discontinued and we recommend editing your existing files to use the new credits system. Any files using the old credits system will still display the old credits but will not benefit from all the new features and options. --- File Transfers --- Publishers are now able to transfer files to other GameMaps accounts! In order to transfer a file to another member or request a transfer your account must first be included in the new credits system. If your account has not been credited you will not be able to request or initiate a transfer. If you have been credited you can now claim ownership of a file. Simply press the transfer icon next to your name listed in the credits and a transfer request will be initiated. File transfers work both ways and both the publisher or anyone listed in the credits can request a transfer. When you load the new Developer Credits section in the members area you will notice a Transfers tab. From this section you can view your pending transfers and transfer history. ---- We hope you enjoy these new features and we look forward to seeing the results moving forward. Awesome update 👍️ I found couple bugs. When I'm being credited in a mod by someone else I don't see that mod in my profile. In Developers & Credits section there are three icons, claim ownership, toggle visibility and a trash can. When hovering over the icons the hint window shows up. This hint don't show up on trash can icon. When I requested to transfer ownership then in my second account I didn't get any notification about this. Transferring mod also causes kind of a bug in number of mods in the left menu for example Custom Mods. When I transferred mod it takes around 1 minute for that number to update while number of mods in Files section(/member-content/view) updates immediately. Right now claiming ownership can be Accepted or Declined, but what if someone who stole content keeps declining to transfer. I would suggest to add some kind of notification for admins if someone repeatedly keeps declining transfer.
Hello greenhood, we appreciate the feedback. Notifications should now be working for file transfers. We also improved the member-select when adding GameMaps members to credits. We will allow members to try and resolve any ownership disputes with transfers. If there is a ownership Dispute members can still report the file or contact GameMaps for further assistance. As for not seeing the credited content on your profile I could not replicate the issue. Did you check to ensure the visibility is enabled? You can post some urls and we can look into this further if the issue still remains. Regards!

I checked today and mod is in my profile. I removed my first account from Developers & Credits via my second account and mod is still in my first account, but it should disappear. This is the mod: https://beta.gamemaps.com/details/25843 It looks like there is a big delay when mod is showing up in profile.

Hello greenhood, I took a look and the file only appears on your other account. Which seems to be correct. Unless I am not catching something. There may be a short delay when making changing as the system cache updates. Perhaps this was the cause of concern?

Seems like there is a delay, but its not short.
It appears the main view (without a game selected) was accidentally being cached for 2 hours. It has been fixed to update at least once every 5 minutes like the other views.
