Short, but intense.

Pros:
 - Custom music.
 - Each map is very distinct from each other with game play.
 - No nav issues, bots followed reliably even under stress.

Cons:
 - Short, can be quick to get through with experience.
 - Witches on first map can a problematic.
 - Final flight of stairs on Finale has common infected spawning in front of survivors. Nearly impossible to escape without a melee weapon.

I enjoyed this campaign. It is short, but even then each map had a specific gimmick to keep things intense in that short while. For the first map, there's witches everywhere, like Hard Rain. The witches could be a problem since they could be seen before you find a shotgun, but even then crowning a wandering witch is extremely easy even on Expert and beyond. Plus, bots are naturally immune to startling her with bullet fire, so you only have to worry about navigation. The second map has rather standard game play of moving from saferoom to saferoom. However, the middle of it has a gauntlet where you must deactivate three generators. The generators aren't out of the way at all, and they also have an outline to them. With a bile or even a pipe bomb, this event is no problem, I liked it. I thought it was similar to the one from The Parish, since you have to take a rather round about path through the construction site to reach the finale generator, meanwhile the infected can simply climb a wall to reach you quickly, so there is good difficulty. Lastly, the finale. The finale layout is a bit strange, given that supplies such as health is strewn rather haphazardly around instead of in a key location, and there doesn't seem to be a defensible ammo cache. However, the sheer amount of gun pickups strewn around rather maps up for this. A very good place I found was the far right corner of the warehouse which had a single staircase. This staircase can have an assault rifle, meaning it's very good to wait here and only come down to fight the Tanks. When the second Tank has been killed, you must run back to where the finale entrance is to press a button to enable escape, which I can see as tedious if you have no grenade or adrenaline. But then you must ascend a flight of stairs to reach the rescue. These stairs are very narrow and common infected are spawned directly above and in front of your path, so getting through it is extremely difficult without a melee weapon.
I enjoyed it very much still. Maps look fine without any obvious errors or brush geometry, and the custom music sounds good. It's clear where to go and it's clear when infected will attack. Very well made.

Pros:
 - Very nice atmosphere. Map looks great and has nice model work done. Whether it's done by hand or exported from somewhere it irrelevant, as it's implemented nicely either way.
 - Common infected actually match the terrain. They believable look in place.
 - Lots of supplies for the finale.
 - Has custom music.
 - Good pacing and supplies for how short it is.

Cons:
 - Extremely short. Assuming you don't fall for any traps, the map can take approximately 5 to 6 minutes to reach the finale arena.
 - 0 randomness. Every item spawn is guaranteed and will never change for every play through.
 - Several "troll" beginner's traps that kill one or several survivors.
 - Map is extremely bot unfriendly. They have trouble avoiding hazardous spikes, scavenging items, or falling down the spiral staircase. This can be alleviated somewhat by forgoing any bot add-ons, however...
 - Finale is extremely unbalanced, especially on Expert. The fourth finale stage will spawn three simultaneous Tanks at once, often while several common infected are still alive.
 - Special Infected timer has been decreased from 30 seconds to 1 second, essentially turning any play through into "Special Delivery mode ft. common infected".

A lot I have to say about this map. For such a short map, there sure is a lot of stuff wrong. As someone who tends to play things with a friend on Expert, this map was a nightmare to get through.

First, actual map layout. The beginning of the map is perilous, but without any bosses or specials, it's okay. Once you reach the zipline that takes you across is when issues begin. It's possible to exit the vehicle and die, which mostly only happens with bot players (minor) or high ping players (major). Once you reach the other side, you can ride the rail in reverse as well, such as to escape a Tank, although this second ride can be initiated without the other survivors inside. Beyond that though is more cliff side combat. This time however specials are spawned, which makes things significantly more dangerous. You can be pushed off by Boomers, pulled down by Smokers, or of course death charged and deathstroked by Chargers. The special respawn timer also makes it guaranteed there's a special waiting, if not in pairs of duplicates. Inside the actual structure, there's two paths to take, either one triggering a mandatory Tank + horde battle. Further beyond that is a spiral staircase and tunnel leading into the finale area. The staircase is dangerous as you can hang on the ledge should you try jumping down, and you can take fall damage even from the lowest possible drop point. Lastly the tunnel is absolutely infested with Specials that respawn instantly, as there's no where left for them to spawn. Overall a very short walk even accounting for the Tank fight time.

Second point, the trolls. For such a short map, there's several beginner's traps to kill unsuspecting players. The first one being once you ride the rail then first the first corner, there's an alcove in the wall which will try to force spawn a Charger as soon as you pass by. It will very often take a bot should you try running past, so I recommend simply forcing it to spawn then running back again. Of course, it may charge after it rounds the corner, so be ready for that. The second trap that I encountered was when trying to platform on the woodplank outcroppings, such as to reach the hidden M60 or the perch with grenades, one such platform broke underneath my feet. Luckily I was already on another platform safely, but I recommend not even trying to drop down onto the platforms at all. Especially if you are playing with bots, since you can hang on the ledge when trying to fall down, and the bots will almost always do so. Another troll, inside there are two gates to go through, left and right. Both will trigger the aforementioned Tank + Horde event. However, if you pick the right path rather than left, the gate will close behind you and trap you inside the tiny area with the Tank and horde. Good luck surviving on Expert or even Advanced...

Lastly and most importantly, the finale. The finale is way unbalanced. How it works is thus: four alternating waves of common infected and Tanks. The Tank waves seem to begin before the common infected have been cleared. Then, the second Tank wave has three Tanks at the same time. The finale area is wide open, and infected spawn from far away. On Advanced, I was able to clear the finale first try without even taking damage. However, Expert mode took several hours of attempts. The finale arena is covered with water everywhere, so this makes Tanks effectively immune to molotovs and makes them move faster than a full health survivor. Since you're essentially pigeonholed into using vanilla bots playing alone, they are terrible at fighting Tanks on expert, since they very often simply let the Tanks hit them. Once the finale is over though, the rescue arrives which is just a rope to climb up. It's not bad, a little difficult to see where the rope is exactly, or which orientation it can be climbed from. However the bots don't climb it and are forced to stay and die. I think this is simply because the ladder doesn't actually lead to anyway, so there's nowhere for them to nav so and so they don't climb the ladder. But not a big deal. You're defenseless when climbing though, which can be a problem when trying to avoid Smokers or Tank rocks.

I honestly cannot recommend playing this in its current state. With how extremely short the map is, and how it will be nearly identical with items and events each play through, I don't see it worth the attempt. Playing on easier difficulties even up to Advanced is a piece of cake, due to how extremely short and well supplied the map is, while playing Expert is a real treat entirely thanks to the Finale. The map looks good and functions as intended and all, surely it was worth creating it, but playing it is just a different story. I suppose the more casual players with friends or Normal difficulty could enjoy this the first time around. However, again, the complete lack of replay ability simply sinks it in my opinion. I'm not rating this as low as possible, since there are positives and it is well made.

Good, well paced experience, but in need of a fix to addoninfo.txt

Pros:
 - VERY well paced.
 - Plays well with bots. They can scavenge well and part very good at following humans, especially through choke points.
 - Events have strategically placed holding spots right next to where they start.
 - Weapons stash right before the Finale. You can pick a preferred weapon without breaking the challenge of the rest of the campaign at the cost of fighting an extra horde in a confined space.

Cons:
 - Some easy to reach no nav spots, such as on top of cars and tables.
 - Gun variety can be sparse if you are picky with your weapon usage.
 - Ammo is scarce; you are more likely to find new guns than ammo.
 - Contains several custom infected and survivor textures that affect regular game play. addoninfo.txt needs to be manually changed to restrict them to this campaign only and fix this.

Overall a very nice campaign. I like the atmosphere of it, being at night. The first map is particularly dark, which can be remedied by turning on the lights and fighting a single mob wave. Interesting concept to be honest, especially since you can avoid it when you know the map well enough. The first map is substantial in length, which is appropriate given it is the only map without a forced event. I prefer using the AK, so trying to find one is pretty tough given their seemed scarcity, but since Magnums and Snipers are easier to come by, I didn't see it as much of a problem. Both events were also easy to get through, given they had an obvious designated holdout spot to get through them. It's clear where to go at all times too, and I especially like the weapons storage just before the finale. I do have complaints though, the biggest one being that the custom skins for several things are not properly restricted to the campaign. I find I have to manually tweak the addoninfo.txt file in order to remedy this. Other than that, there's some no nav issues which are easy to access by simply jumping on a prop, but that's the peak of issues for game play. If I had to reach, I would say that the finale is a little too easy, given the storage of guns just before it, and the fact that there's an easy to reach near god spot you can get to by jumping onto the advertisement from the impromptu sandbags next to the ammo and med kits. Up there common infected can't reach you so long as you stand on the edge, so you only have to deal with specials.

Could be tricky to get into, but it only gets better with playtime.

Pros:
 - Well paced. Never feels there is a moment where survivors become overwhelmed through attrition.
 - Works well in Versus. There are several choke points as well as death charge potential in many places to learn.
 - Events are nicely unambiguous. It is clear what will start them and how to end them if they don't end on their own.
 - Bots play well on this campaign. No issue with navigation or scavenging.

Cons:
 - Drab color scheme with little variance.
 - Several easy to access no nav locations.
 - Secondary weapons are rare.
 - Forced car alarm on map 3.
 - Finale can be confusing where to go, especially when it is required to drop through a hole in the floor.
 - No randomness. Path will be identical each play through. Only item spawns will vary.

One of my favorite campaigns, and one of the rare ones that I would enjoy for Versus. It's fun to play through initially, and once you learn the map the pacing lends itself well to faster paced game play. Each map aside from the first also has an event to go through, and each one felt very fair. In particular, the only gauntlet of the map has several grenades placed before the alarmed door, and then immediately after you would have used some, there are some more grenades in the back of a truck along the path, so there's no issue with getting through it quickly. The finale is one big gauntlet like The Parish, and also like The Parish it only has one Tank within a predetermined location. At worst the Tank could punch someone off the building, but the Finale is rather good compared to some other gauntlet type custom finales. My biggest complaints with the map are that secondary weapons are rare unless you aren't picky with your melee weapon (which let's face it, most of them are just straight trash) and the finale is rather obscure which way to go. I think some lights or something could have helped, but I think this map is beyond seeing any updates at this point, so I guess just learning the correct path is the way to go. At least there's no randomness in that regard. I would definitely recommend this campaign to anyone who's willing to invest time beyond an initial play through.

An excellently made bad campaign.

Played on advanced with three bots, did not finish.

It starts off very strong; the aesthetic is fantastic, with the lighting and attention to detail in the map. The first map was short enough for a starting map and was fun to play, especially when looking for fuses which spawn randomly. I would say the first map was the best of the four. The second map is where things started to go downhill. Like the first, the map looks great, with excellent ambience and attention to detail which not only is pleasing to look at, but also helps point the way to go. However, the second map very linear and is fairly long, especially when considering it ends in a timed hold out against a horde. The third map is by far the worst of the four and may be one of the worst L4D2 experiences I've had the displeasure of playing. Like the second map, it is much too long in length. It starts with a wide open plain with an entrance into some sewers. The horde triggered upon entering the sewers is much too easy to deal with, as the only way points to the survivors are through a narrow doorway, and up a ladder. Once in the sewers, I found myself wanting greatly for any kind of tier 2 weapon, grenade, or small health item. You'd be lucky to find any pills in the map, let alone adrenaline for when three of your team mates are down from the constant hordes. That's anther problem, the hordes. Map 3 has hordes at every turn. First there's a horde when entering the sewers. Then there's a horde opening a gate in the sewers. There's a wide open area with a tower you must climb up to press a switch. This switch starts power which triggers a horde. The horde will not stop (which is not mentioned) until you press and hold a button on a generator back down below the tower. The tower itself has a turret on it which is nice, except it's positioned to cover only the least used direction commons come from. Once you've cleared the gate, there's a choke point ladder which is very hard to clear out from below; good luck if a boomer is camping it. Normally, this ladder should be the end of the map, which I initially thought it was. However, exiting the building you emerge from, you enter a wide street setting littered with broken down cars. Now you are tasked with finding two car batters, each of which trigger a horde upon collecting, that can spawn in random locations. Searching for these batteries is extremely tedious. Their possible spawns are all too far apart and they do not have any ammo or guns to hunker against during the forced hordes. When you find both batteries, then you must construct some kind of gate to proceed, and when you trigger the fuel pump to open said gate, it forces yet another horde and tank at the same time. You'd think after all that, you would finished with the map, and yet the map continues, you need to go through a pool and through another open street to get to the final building which finally contains the third saferoom. The fourth map is the finale, however I did not get to see how the campaign ends. When I set the first explosive and triggered the endless horde, I found myself stuck on the rooftop with nowhere to go. The only indication of direction I could find was the graffiti on the walls which was blocked by a wooden plank. I did not get to explore any further as this was when my game crashed, like so many others' have too. Overall I would say there is some clear talent shown in this campaign, with the art style, the custom item hunts, and the voice acting all should have led to a great campaign. The major downfall of course was the map design. Too long, too frustrating, and too random. I would not play this campaign again.
