Pros:
-Simply beautiful level design -Varied environments -Survivor dialogue is well-placed and varied -The mall is amazing :) -Abundance of weapons and supplies, and even defibrilator units -Clever use of an elevator as a safe room -Sweet crescendo event at the staircase -Fun to play and replay
Cons:
-Finale is weird with such a large area to explore -No ammo dumps at the finale -No weapons at the crescendo event immediately after the M60 drop
Conclusion:
This was a really fun campaign. The scenery was beautiful and expertly done, the events were quite satisfying without feeling cheap and the finale was well creative. There are enough weapons of all kinds and they feel well-paced throughout. The only thing that bugs me is the ending, in that prior warning that we may want to press that console might have been nice. That, and it doesn't seem to do a whole lot. The first time I played it, the helicopter came to the pad pretty much as soon as I got to the sliding doors, so going up to turn the lights would have taken longer. Putting in an extra pre-final wave or two before the doors open might make it more worthwhile. There's also no ammo dump at the end, meaning the survivors are forced to scavenge off the various weapons strewn throughout, which is not ideal. Prior warning about the console and an ammo dump SOMEWHERE might be nice. None of that detracts from the campaign, though. It's well fun and well worth the high marks.
