Couldn't really find any where else to bring this up, so I made a new discussion...
Let's see who agrees with me as this is one of the biggest problems with this.

here's a suggestion for you...
with all due respect, consider getting your priorities in order before releasing a "new" site with a "new" design
otherwise the same problems are going to resurface and continue being the same old problems as they always were
i've already contributed to enough discussions on the "beta" site about what you should really be focusing on first
look into improving the effectiveness of bans...
still to this day i get stalked and harassed and spammed by previously banned users
depending on offense and i suppose also known repeat offenders
(and i could name so many as examples)... you should go further, like IP bans
but not just single IP bans, block a whole range or whatever the proper networking term is
even if people appear to be using VPN i'm sure there's ways to get around their attempts to get around our attempts
anyway, ya know, just giving my advice if you actually do listen to people.
not everyone is being negative... you asked for our advice, so consider taking it
speaking of bans, again depending on the users in question and their records and history...
when a large amount of evidence it presented, don't hesitate
i understand it may vary on a specific case by case basis,
but, you shouldn't question or second guess when you're shown plenty of evidence of offenses
this is why Rayman1103 is probably one of the best staff members...
he catches on to when someone's only looking for trouble
and if someone's banned... they most likely deserved it. they shouldn't get any extra chances...
again, especially depending on evidence presented.
and if duplicate alternate accounts are caught and confirmed (hence my whole reasoning for this long discussion)...
keep banning them until they get the point.
if you truly want the "new" site and community to succeed...
don't just simply try to cover up everything with a fancy new coat of paint
begin with the foundation before you build on top of it,
otherwise if it's weak it's all just going to collapse right in front of you. learn from your mistakes
review feature and guest feature were prime examples
but i believe we've already learned from those, so that's steps in the right direction... for now....

people are banned for a reason, especially if they already are repeat offenders with a long bad history and record.
another thing is, even if they don't have multiple alternate accounts, they also return on their original main.
what I said before still applies here, anyway...
you present more than enough legit valid evidence of terms of service violations...
but apparently the banned user(s) will privately contact the admins and complain.
not going to name any names, but i had one person stalking me on very old maps and campaigns...
they'd reply to equally as old, if not older, comments of mine... so this also is spam due to being notified...
and then on top of that is the comments themselves are very immature and childish and harassment.
user did eventually get banned, however, it feels like they also manipulated and intimidated the admins.
another case where previously banned users got to return because they cried like a child to get their ways.
anyone i report to the admins will always have proper evidence of violations worthy of bans.
it should be very rare anyone is allowed to return considering what the offenses were.
if it's not broke, don't fix it.

An administrator should ban this spamming *****.
Really not looking forward to the new site at this rate.
So many overlooked unresolved lingering issues.
Get your priorities straightened out.
