One of our most highly anticipated features is the ability for users and developers to instantly add and manage new games. The days of waiting for GameMaps staff to add a game to the platform is nearly over! In addition, we now support PC, Mobile and Console games! **Adding Games Summary When adding a new game you will have full control over the entire process. This includes setting up the navigation, modes, tags, content types and if your feeling artistic you can even change the entire theme /design. This really puts a lot of power in your hands since after-all, you will be constructing the base platform in which content is submitted for. **Game Managers When you add a new game to the platform you will become a Game Manager for that game. That means you will be able to edit, modify and adjust how the game contents are displayed and indexed. You can also edit the design and various other options any time you wish. Being a manager could come with some responsibility as we would depend on your knowledge of the game to properly set it up for content developers. Our staff will assist and make sure rules and guidelines are followed. **Official Games, Unofficial, Empty When you first add a game it will appear as an "Empty Game" of course because it has no content from the start. If you add a game but never add any content, you will risk loosing your manager status for that game. Once you start submitting content for the game it will turn into an 'Unofficial' status... This means you created a game and now its starting to get populated with content, traffic and developers. Once the game has reached a quality status it will then turn into an 'Official Game' and when this happens additional perks will be given to your account. We dont want to say what perks or rewards you will get at this time, but let's just say we appreciate your dedication in managing a successful game and we want to show our appreciation. -------------------------------- This sums up the general summary of the Adding Games / Game Managers... This feature is in active development and should be available soon. We are still ironing out some bugs and making sure the system is easy to use and user friendly! GameMaps (System) 
So new games will be available to be managed, but I assume that game that already exist is managed by Admins? Lets say Left 4 Dead 1 and 2.
When you click on My Games you can manage a game that already exists if there is not a manager already. Once a game has been assigned a manager, it is no longer available to be claimed. Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 already have a game manager assigned (staff) and therefore it can't be claimed. However we may add additional managers to this game once we are more prepared to do so. Game managers have the ability to hire additional managers below them. This way a single game can be managed by a team. Hope this answers your question. iLL

Hello, we have updated our code and adding content for new games should be working smoothly again. When publishing any content (also gallery items) simply select the game and you are good to go. Appreciate the feedback. Regards

Ah it sounds like your trying to add a game using the old method. We will need to remove this option or link. Don't use the Games link in left menu. (This is where you tried to add a game?) You can add a new game by publishing content using the left members menu. For example click on maps, mods or gallery and then select the new game from here (input box) and publish. (You can test it with a wallpaper or image.) Hope this makes sense!

Yeah adding the game is not necessary, simply add your map and when your adding your map select the game from there. 🙂. It should already be available.

The beta has a short delay when releasing a file. This delay will go away once it's live. I have tested your upload and the download seems to be working. Let us know if you have any further questions and thanks for being a beta tester.
