Conclusion:

From a guy who has been to Japan six or seven times (and is actually writing this review in japan) I can tell those who have never been there or seen a Godzilla movie:  These maps look like real Japan.  In fact, the Kiyomizu dera map is made with great attention to replicating the real place - down to the shops on the ninen zaka and sannen zaka roads that lead to the temple.  FUN FACT:  The large balcony of Kiyomizu Dera is a famous suicide spot in japan.
