I loved this campaign. I can't stress enough how much the custom sound effects and music can make your map really stand out and become memorable. I like that instead of an extra tank at the end, you have an intense swarm of infected. Adds some variety for my awesome custom map collection.

Very nice survival map. It's lacking on custom features but I suppose not every map has to have it. I just like something to surprise me here and there. Overall I had fun with it. Good job.

- Solid bot nav

- Good alarmed car placement (wood bridge on top of car)

Conclusion:

Nice! I had a great time playing through this, even though it was by myself. I kept looking around imagining all the place you could strike from in vs mode. I usually have a hard time finding custom vs games, but hopefully this map will convince the community to play maps other than the ones by valve. My gripes are few and minor. 

For some reason I felt like I kept seeing the same bus. I took a closer look and noticed that many had different stripes and markings, but because there's so many buses in the first few stages you might try mixing it up further. All of the buses are light in color. I don't know how much work it would take, but you could contrast by having some dark colored buses in there. Maybe google some charter buses for ideas. 

I don't know if it was luck of the draw, but there were also far too many shots in the first stage. They make sense for the finale, but I was loaded up on shots and passing them up left and right halfway through. When tier 2's became available I also had a problem where I could only find the 3 round burst rifle until I starting finding the weapons cabinet. Last of the item gripes is melee items. I only found 3-4 during the whole campaign. It could just be what the director decided to pass out, but you might want to look into it. 

Pros:

- Good flow
- Signal popups help direct survivors
- Decent bot nav
- Helicopter crashed into tower creatively 
- Nice atmosphere. Skybox really helps with this.
- Very little bugs

Cons:

- End of 2nd stage when you have to climb up several ladders in a row. Bots have a hard time here with not incapping themselves. 
- Helicopter may have taken too long to show up! I worked it out, but only because the tank was busy beating on the bots hanging off the ledge. 

Conclusion:

Very good job! There's only a tiny amount of bugs, but I really enjoyed this campaign. Hope you keep mapping. 

Pros:

- Twist ending
- Well executed recreation of a book, movie, and theme park ride.
- No nav issues
- Large amount of custom models and textures
- Custom events and traps

Cons:

- Missing audio from NT1
- Poor L4D2 weapon layout

Conclusion:

This is my favorite campaign without question. There's a few minor issues with the transfer to L4D2. Valve's custom audio problem will no doubt be solved in time, and I'm sure the weapons layout will be fixed as well. I'll known when you update and bump up my score accordingly.

- Red turtle shell
- Low gravity areas only when necessary
- Escape route
- Clear pathways
- Excellent Mario atmosphere 

Cons:

- Bots can be dumb while platforming
- No Mario Bros. music!

Conclusion:

I had to drop the score a tad because of the bots. In all honesty they did pretty damn good considering all the platforming that was going on. If you do one last fix and add some mario bros music in there instead of horde and tank music, I'll forgive the dumb bots. Take a look at the Pallet Town survival map and see how much just a song can do for the game. 

Amazing work. I hope to see more from you in the future.

- Little switches you can hit just for fun (like the ride)

Conclusion:

Those rating this map low need to understand what it's trying to do, which is stay true to the ride. 

You did a great job and I appreciate the hard work you must have put into all the small details. I hope you continue to map for this game. Freaking amazing. 

Pros:

- Level design and layout
- Custom models and textures
- Length
- Atmosphere
- Custom sounds and character skins
- Waterfall/pool area

Cons:

- More barriers to block areas you're not supposed to be in. I had jumped outside the area at the end of the 3rd map (i think) on accident and had a hard time getting back in while my team was waiting for me.
- The finale could be great, but as is can be easily exploited by taking all the cans to the boat. We also had a hard time finding the boat in the first place. 

Conclusion:

I feel like this has the potential to be one of the great campaigns out. If you can fix the bugs and exploits then I'll definitely crank this score right on up to 100. As it is there's still a few hang ups. Keep up the good work, I'll be eagerly awaiting an update. 

I recommend working on the finale first. The cans need to be off limits somehow until the event is started. That and make the location of the boat obvious to those new to the map.

- Nice original models from the game as well
- Music added a whole lot to map
- Good job working with the layout of Pallet town

Conclusion:

This is such a great survival map. As it stands its my favorite survival map so far. I can't think of any personal cons. Good job and keep up the great work. I look forward to your next project. 

Pros:

- Nice layout
- Great view from the tower
- Multiple ways to go up and down the tower

- Infected seemed to have a hard time getting to the top
- Tower feels cramped
- No defibs 
- AI had nav issues

Conclusion:

I liked being able to hit at the tanks before they got into the tower. The only problem is that the infected had a hard time getting to the top. Maybe you could add a few more routes. Overall I liked it. The tower felt cramped, but on the flip side I had an easy time maneuvering through the tower to avoid the infected.

Pros:

- Every map in Death Aboard stands out and has great atmosphere
- Many ambush points for VS. infected
- Ship map, while lacking fallen bodies, has a unique slant to the entire map because of the angle of the wrecked vessel.
- Light tower is gorgeous
- Original finale and rescue
- Custom music adds a lot when it goes off

Cons:

- Bots sometimes have issues

Conclusion:

I loved this map in L4D1. At first I was a little worried the daylight version would kill it for me, but it really makes the finale stand out and come to life. I can only hope you continue to map, and are successful if this is your career path. 

Pros:

- Great layout and design
- I didn't get "Lost" 
- Fun No Mercy throw back for the finale
- Lengthy but not tedious 
- Bots very rarely gave me a hard time

Cons:

- 4th spawn room has no weapons/ammo (though I did restart after L4D booted me and there were items in there upon a fresh start at that stage)
- Some of the skybox is broken, appearing black. I want to say in the 2nd or 3rd map.

Conclusion:

I loved it. It was good times and I can see VS. being fun on this map due to the spacing in the items and the length of the maps. Keep it up! If you choose to tweak it, I'll update my review as you update the map
