Pros:
It's a zombies of the Caribbean ride! flavorful use of zombies, Does remind me of the kiddy ride a lot
Cons:
Bad optimization Methinks the reviews are skewed kinda boring little/no gameplay Reminded me a lot of hl1 under-detailed, and very blocky kitch-only factor
Conclusion:
I'm going to just say it: There's no way this map is a 90% map. I will be the first to say it and probably receive flames for it. I see it all the time on this site, and if you don't believe me download the map, and download death-aboard or something. Granted, I thought it was a neat idea. It was inventive of the use of zombies, and how you could ride the map, however other than nostalgia value the map was very bleh. Honestly the only reason it's a 68 in my book is because it is kitchy. It was underdetailed in a bad way with no new props, and the brushwork was very blocky. Basic four wall box rooms with more box rooms in-between. There were no random item placements, and the map was very easy. There was basically no ending, and it seemed to be thrown in. I saw little/no difference between playing with zombies and playing without, however I will admit it was fun to play the map twice and see what was behind everything. There are so many ways to add to this. Outside of detail, why don't you make the survivors scream or something when they go down the slide parts of the ride? I know it's possible, because I think ryok got the survivors to scream in freezer burn at one part. or at least talk
