not a terrible campaign. Bots have no nav issues (for me), paths are clear, there are very few events during my playthrough which is unusual (2 crescendo event. one is "burn the wall" and another one is the no mercy one where you have to press a button to access a bridge thing in the drain. There are some parts that really resemble the death toll apocalypse campaign (which is a lot better, I must say).
The one thing I hate about this is the finale. Now, it's the same as the original crash course. so, why is it annoying? well, first of all, the supplies you got are not in the garage (as you would've expected), but rather in a random container near the edge of the map. also, you have to restart the generator right? well, there are two generators. One is near the garage, and another one is near the edge of the map where supplies are (and it is dark). Oh, and it's not highlighted. also, remember when I said the game instructor does not work? yeah. your only clue when you need to restart the generator is from your character's dialogue.
i restarted the finale 1 time because my team dies while fighting like an endless amount of hordes and tanks. I didn't know there will be 2nd generator, the supplies are actually hidden so you really need to explore before starting the finale. Just some suggestion, but maybe enable the game instructor and put some highlights for the important stuff, especially the 2nd generator. Other than that, 3/5. The first and second maps are decent, but the finale is hard if you play it for the first time.
i'd suggest you try it. Just remember to explore everything before starting the finale. Oh, and zombies respawned in the area you've been previously explored so that's a thing.
some clarification:
1) my game instructor is always enabled and it works well in other custom campaigns. It's just this one
2) 1st chapter have this underground area with like 2 entrances to another area that is necessary for progressison. There are like invisible barriers thing that block those entrances, so i use a molotov and the barrier disappear.
3) During the starting/restarting the 1st and 2nd generator, the message that appear is ÿou healing/reviving a teammate" which is weird, but hey. Who's judgin'
a decent campaign
