It's great to see this campaign is finished.
I still keep the old L4D1 version in my disk. Never thought this campaign could finish so many years later.
Excellent porting with more intense panic events.
It was great to play it in L4D1 before and we could experience it again within L4D2 after whole 9 years!

Final version of L4D1 - details/20627

Boring, not bowling.
- To keep spawning a large number of hordes from safe room is not challenge but wasting the time. - Walking along a ridiculously long path just for covering how empty and monotonous this thing is. - Dark environment with background that is harsh to the eyes, like my review. lol - The hordes could appear without reason. If they had, the reason may be unreasonable. - How could this thing get 4 stars?
Fully utilize everything about Dark Carnival
+ Utilizing the props and layouts from the Parish and Turtle Rock's "Dam It". + Expanding the more available rooms for exploration and walking through alternative new paths. + To reuse the survivor's remark lines in Dark Carnival that Lazy-ass 4 Dead devs never adopted. + The sufficient supplies won't make you run out of them. - The abundant contents make it has some performance issues but you should give it a try with friends. I only observed an Easter egg coin but it was beyond my reach. Never thought there were 5 coins before getting started the finale.

This reminds me of Clamtoll. I'm going to talk to sherriff and see if he minds me visiting that old beast and see if it needs tuned up. Would make a good edition to this campaign where everything has been diverted, more space added etc.

Why don't spawn tanks in safe room for real challenge?
The real normal version without f and modifying shi f t is available here. https://www.gamemaps.com/details/2390
I Feel You XD It's Really Really Hard Especially Final Level! The one on your link will be on my schedule to try On Expert too and i guess it will be easier for the one here
Thanks bud.
How did you see a turret on the top of you in monochrome vision of dark-like-shit?
Pros: + Boring crescendo event blocking you outside of safe room was just for hearing the music. + Copied and pasted. Deleted some garbage. Now we got level 2 done. + Hidden door in the wall was broken and would get you stuck in the start of level 3. + Performance issues in level 3 caused high CPU usage. + Invisible walls blocked you everywhere. + Stupid glass turrets shot the shit out of you. Messages would warn you "Shoot the turrets!" in the second time but not first time. + Those who give 5★ was to wish that this thing could torture you like they felt. Cons: - This thing made my recycle bin got a terrible stomach ache.
XD
Polished design, environment with amazing details and atmosphere of terrifying.
Really love many new-added details and new layouts in the environment. Especially the new background with sunshine in the beginning of level 2.

Requiring experienced players to play together.
Feedback: The panic event in graveyard of level 3 had a problem. Only 3 survivors got into this area and then the blocked wall appeared, killed other survivors with fallen damage. Make sure all survivors have gotten into graveyard, the blocked wall just can appeared. New holdout area of level 5 needs more obvious barricade because so many dead ends in alley just blocked them with an invisible barricade. If a Tank is chasing the players, they may be confused by an invisible barricade. Let players believe what they see, so they won't try to jump across noticeable barriers. - New version is much better and reasonable. Just need some improvements and make it better.
Abundant contents that having developed for 5 years
+ Many jump scares really terrify the players in level 3. + Clear hints tell the players what to do. + Enough supplies even more than that player's demands.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Remember to play with real players under teamwork.
+ Dense forest and smoke put survivors in danger. + Special infected will attack from which players won't expect. + Available supplies at dead end for curious players. - Serious performance issue in level 1. - To play single player game with bots is an innocent fool.
This review was posted before the latest release.
I prefer this campaign to your previous works.
At first level, the event of pushing TV cabinet needs a tweak. In case special infected appears behind the TV cabinet, players can't shoot through and kill them. Scavenge finale is ideal design. Survivors don't have to fight overwhelming common infected to collect gas cans. Maybe put some supplies near gas cans in warehouse.
Hey, glad you liked! I'll see if I can make some improvements in the map 1 event
Nice combination
Feedback: in the beginning of level 5, there is a bridge where 2 tanks appears will hear unstopped car alarms if someone hits the cars.
It's way better than fake 2019 series campaigns.
Pros: + Level 1 and level 2 have merely, only, just 98% the same layout. + Unlimited hordes attack with countless tanks. + Repeated texture can heavily save your system memory. + Spawn a tank behind you. How do you know there's a room which exists a tank behind the wall? + Locking your most hated friend in a room on Christmas, persuading him to play this binary complex alone. Do not let him out before finishing this even starve him. + P.S. Remember to say "I want to play a game" with accent like the movie "Saw" before locking your hated friend. Cons: - Nothing is perfect except this stuff. Like Candi Stryper said: Nothing you! Definitely watch "Member Videos" ↓ before you download this binary complex. The finale's ending animation is most enjoyable in our gameplay.

LOL you are funny.
Several hours gameplay was AWESOME.
Pros: + Detailed environment. + Keep healing items in plant pot like original RE1. This can avoid bots pick up them before players spots. + Puzzles with clear hints. + Unexpected tank fight. + Finale is awesome bile warfare! Bugs I found: - In level 1, the "important" axe in the room with auto shotgun can't pick up sometimes. I've played 4 times in this level and have encountered this twice. Fortunately, other players had melee weapons. - Before breaking the door of trap room, player must press E to that door FIRST, seeing "BREAK THE DOOR!!" warning message and then door can BE ABLE TO destroy. I'm pretty certain because I tried to destroy it twice. Players may not realize this problem, starting to break that door and won't try to open it first. - More feedback will send with private message. Suggestions: * In level 1, I think main hall can put an ammo pile. Solving puzzle may take some time and this place is where players always pass by. They can acquire some ammo here. * Can players collect many bottles of Ink and produce many defibrillators at the same typewriter? Not one bottle of ink at most. * Chemical bottles for making V-JOLT should be darker colors. Purple bottle looks like pink one. Conclusion: DO NOT play alone with bots or strangers. This campaign needs teamwork and players need to report what they find so everyone can know complete walkthrough plus how to solve all puzzles.

Experience Black Mesa with L4D style.
Pros: +Going through classic HL environment. +Gameplay of Prince of Persia (1989)! +Fighting at Xen and eye-catching portal. +Alternative endings. Cons: Fourth puzzle of Prince of Persia game is way too hard for players who play this campaigns first time. They won't know the floor is collapsed and can't try again. Maybe offering some unbreakable floor so they can try again. The ventilation system with big drawing fan needs extra supplies. Don't make players go upstairs and find nothing, wasting time.
Decent campaign
Pros: + Optimized and fluent gameplay. + Complicated paths that players can explore. + In wrestling arena, explosion can blows up chairs in the air. Cons: - Let players believe what they see. They'll try to jump across the low fence or small obstacle but being blocked by invisible walls. Join more obvious or higher hindrance so players know that "This path is blocked!" - The ending saferoom of level 2 needs bigger ending zone. We closed the door but nothing happened until all survivors went into furthest inside of saferoom.

"The ending saferoom of level 2 needs bigger ending zone. We closed the door but nothing happened until all survivors went into furthest inside of saferoom." There is no case. It may happen in other addons also. Did you never see that before? Also it happens if someone of players stands up over any object of furniture. Personally I did not notice any problems with saferooms on this addon.

Pros:
You got a idea to make an own campaign.
Cons:
- 0% optimization. - To touch the flame will instantly kill a survivor. - Panic event without reason. - Non-English game guide. - Few ammo piles.
Conclusion:
It's a benchmark campaign which can fully utilize your system.

The map is made of an existing zone. I know first map made in a hurry and For the fire and wanted otherwise you went in unwanted places Event of panic you're right I was novice It was intended for private use, then in my Italian language For the ammunition is desired, we are accustomed to playing with the difficulties impossible, even in other games. However, you can lower the difficulty.

Pros:
+ Jockey looks like a patient who escaped from mental hospital. + It becomes a bit obvious with his white suit IMO.
Cons:
- None.
Conclusion:
New-style Jockey offers players to experience different zombie apocalypse.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
+ Being accustomed to SPAS 12 of folded stock. + Shining metal materials. + 4 community players' cooperation. ↠(?)
Cons:
None.
Conclusion:
Now players could enjoy new animation and blight appearance of SPAS 12!
Pros:
+ Fantastic white grenade launcher. + Custom portal gun sound effect sounds more sense of science fiction. + Yellow grenades!
Cons:
- Custom portal sound effect has a bit problems. - Lame preview pictures may waste your effort.
Conclusion:
If you played Portal, don't miss this creative addon.
Pros:
- Really LONG campaign can play for a long time with friends. - Survivors' conversation. - Explosive scene. - Horrible and dangerous swamp.
Cons:
- There was no enough supply and ammo for survivors. We always ran out of ammo and didn't find available new guns or pistols. - You might offer ammo piles, available guns or healing items before *any* crescendo events starting. - At level 2, the crescendo event turning off alarm should offer multiple paths for survivors to go upstairs. It's not funny to encounter dead end and must find another way while horde kept coming. - You might block some unnecessary paths so that players won't try to walk a long range but don't find anything. - A little performance issue when players go the outside. - All houses in ghost town may change to the door without handle if they can't open. - At swamp area of level 4, sugar canes shouldn't grow through the plank walkways like preview picture 6. At least giving survivors a little view to fight against horde on the walkways.
Conclusion:
This campaign is really huge. I think you could cut off unnecessary area or paths so players would know where to go.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
- classic HL2 fast zombie experience - It feels more horrible when fighting against it in the dark.
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Is this possible to add headcrab or add its original HL2 voices?
Pros:
- Atmosphere of the Passing. - Unexpected panic event at the playground.
Cons:
Level 1: - Bot survivors dropped into lake and kill themselves. - There was a little performance issues near the end of first safe room. ( A beautiful round restaurant. ) Level 2: - Sewer didn't indicate specific direction for survivors. - At unstopped panic event of level 2, there was a unreasonable invisible wall block survivor's path. See private message for more details.
Conclusion:
Suggestions: - The lake shouldn't kill the survivors instantly. You might offer a tiny damage like -2HP per second so players could realize they shouldn't walk into lake. - You may offer some first aid kits and ammo piles before players get into the sewer. This campaign is a nice start. Expecting next update.
Pros:
- Ideal and reasonable pump-action animation. - More feeling of combat. - When reloading one shell and firing it instantly, there is no discontinuous animation like default one.
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Players just know what players really need. Valve only know what profits they can acquire.
Pros:
Perfect sound of impact. Real feeling like brand-new melee weapons.
Cons:
Unnecessary custom sounds of katana in this addon that hear like laser swords.
Conclusion:
In case that you have used custom katana voices, remember to remove redundant voices in this addon. Anyway this is awesome addons for all you guys like a cricket bat.
Pros:
- I love metal bat. - Perfect sound of impact.
Cons:
- None.
Conclusion:
Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\mechanic\MeleeResponse09.wav
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
- Fluent gameplay. - Creative crane crescendo event. - Creative and interesting accident.
Cons:
- Ammo piles seem to appear a bit late. If players check every room for supplies, they may run out of ammo quickly. You may put ahead the ammo piles or give more available tier 1 weapons or pistols. - First unlimited crescendo event wasn't clear to me. I didn't realize there was a climbable boxes when I fight against the hordes. You may give more directions to players.
Conclusion:
You may put other tier 2 weapons at "secret" place. So far I merely found auto shotgun. Two bots was incapacitated by the accident and made me laugh loudly.
Pros:
- Beautiful redwood grenade launcher. - When reloading a grenade, it sounds like reloading the mortar.
Cons:
- None.
Conclusion:
It sounds more powerful than original voice.
Pros:
- This animation should have used for every player. - Reasonable way to hold the gun with hands. - The lower recoil let players aim well. - Faster melee hand with Magnum.
Cons:
- TOO PERFECT, man.
Conclusion:
I prefer to use Magnum than melee weapons now! Screw the L4D2 developers!
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
- Real LONG campaign that I played with two friends and we take 2.5 hours on advance difficulty to finish it. Make sure you and your friends have enough time before you play. - Long campaign still keeps ideal performance. - Some survivor's lines offers information.
Cons:
- At first map, After we burnt down the barricade, we got lost a few minutes in a park and finally found a small path through the bush. I don't think it's easy to find out when hordes is still coming. - Second map needs more melee weapons. I only found one melee weapon near the end of second level. - At fourth map, after you fire the Howitzer, there is staircase with a transparent wall. - At the end of fourth map, the "ladder" which lead players to safe room isn't obvious. We three players spend three minutes finding this ladder on the wall. - At fifth map, the second steel door with planks couldn't break so we couldn't go through, but first one was breakable. - I don't like that you took a cabinet as a ladder. Players who have never played your campaign wouldn't realize that's a climbable object. - There are few ammo piles in every level. - If you want to spawn so many witches in every level, you should put more first aid kits or defibrillators for players. - You may use game guide system to tell players where to find the escaping boat.
Conclusion:
This campaign needs to offer more obvious directions for players where to go. Some area will get lost easily. Anyway, this campaign isn't bad. For those who like to play coop mode with FRIENDS.

Pros:
Funny intro dialogue. Well-optimized campaign. First map has the most traditional Chinese-style architecture. Really funny Chinese sprays on the wall and Commercial signboards. Custom item models with Chinese words. There are enough supplies for survivors. The singer ã€Œæ›¹æ ¼ã€is in this campaign. Are you his fans?
Cons:
i1188.photobucket.com/albums/z405/hrcspkla/Feedback%20of%20community%20campaigns/city_020001.jpg ↠Bots stayed around the manhole and wouldn't move on. i1188.photobucket.com/albums/z405/hrcspkla/Feedback%20of%20community%20campaigns/outpost_30004.jpg ↠Bot wouldn't climb up the ladder and go to another side. Pros:
New bosses with ideal hints so players know how to fight against them. Nice optimization is good for fluent gameplay.
Cons:
Background music of final boss is pretty loud.
Conclusion:
This is another well-designed map in your work. It's really fun and full of challenges. In my opinion, you may offer one rifle or one sniper rifle beside the ammo piles of first boss fight. If too many survivors get auto shotguns, they may not fight the first boss effectively. By the way, is it possible to avoid the attack of final boss? While it was going to die, his attacking damage was horrible and fast. Two first aid kits at escaping ship seems better for final boss fight.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Great optimization makes game run fluently. Fantastic atmosphere is mixed with objects of The Passing and The Sacrifice. You can see the water reflects the color of sky.
Cons:
img375.imageshack.us/img375/2198/gasfever10000.jpg img341.imageshack.us/img341/7010/gasfever20001.jpg Some paths appear walkable but block with invisible walls. You may give players more freedom without these unnecessary things. Final escape should join a ladder beside the scaffold so survivors can still escape even they run to the ground. Actually the highlighted car attracted my attention so I didn't realize there was a container which lowered for escape.
Conclusion:
Spending a Few months to work out a polished campaign, nice job!
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Nice optimization makes game running fluently. Feels like Crash Course in L4D2.
Cons:
I seemed to see a ice cream truck near the ending safe room, but it was transparent.
Conclusion:
I played it with L4D2 and it worked fine. You may join more explosive barrels in the future update.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Nice atmosphere is like The Passing. Panic event of Two stages.
Cons:
In starting area, if players jump into lake which will kill them right now, you may prevent players from doing stupid. A bit of performance issues, especially the level 2. Hope next update can improve frame rate of maps. Weapons seems not random deployment, I played three times and picked up AK-47 rifles in the same place.
Conclusion:
Level 2 is too long for me, it may divide into two maps for better performance. The panic event of two stage activating bridges is my favorite in gameplay.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
cellar atmosphere is great.
Cons:
Too less ammo pile. Trees, trees, trees... stay in the woods long time make player feel annoyed, especially there is no obvious directional indication in this map. Dark Cave may offer a little light, it make players have better sight to fight hordes.
Conclusion:
Before I arrived at the wood suspension bridge with more light, actually I would like leave the game and delete this map right now. Long period of time staying in the woods that doesn't feel horrible but feel annoyed. Carefully moving on in the dark woods make ammo run out quickly, and there was no supply when I found out first house with an attic which I couldn't climb up.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Great atmosphere.
Cons:
Too less melee weapons and ammo piles. The Container in second level doesn't offer a obvious hint for players, we fought against hordes for a long time, and it stayed still until someone to "push" the container away, the path was just clear.
Conclusion:
You may make a "simple" safe room for ending or tell players "it's done!" on the wall. Seeing a empty room doesn't mean it's ending. So far so good.
