Overall a good Silent Hill experience

The only thing that dissapointed me was ending. I mean, really?

If you miss original Resident Evil games - play this!

+ This campaign gives a strong feel of first three resident evil games. 
+ All puzzles work properly, but yeah, they are hard.
+ Very good atmosphere and level design. 
+ Quite hard and challenging. 
+ Puzzles solution is somewhat randomized, which gives this campaign some replayability.
+ Did I mention great level design and a lot of attention for details?
+ Very fun to play with skilled friends.

- Unfinished,
- Sometimes it's hard to understand what to do, but when you figure it out you will be like "Oooh!..."
- Irratiating and not fun with bots, with map is clearly not for solo players and not for newbies, unless you play on easy.

Pros:

+ Silent Hill
+ FULL SILENT HILL 1 GAME
+ Author did a hell damn huge amount of work
+ Perfect SH1 levels re-creation
+ Most of puzzles were re-created and work the way they worked in SH1
+ Survival: ammunition and supplies are scarce, enemies arent
+ The Silent Hill atmosphere

Cons:

- bots act stupid sometimes
- L4D1
- A few minor bugs

Conclusion:

If you are SH fan (doesn't matter what SH game is you favourite) then

Pros:

+ A good remake of original HL2 EP1
+ Detailed levels
+ HL music
+ Very nice panic events

Cons:

- Way too easy if you play with friends, even on expert realism

Conclusion:

Its a good campaign to play for anyone - both HL2 fan and a person who is not familiar with HL franchise. Nothing special, just a good campaign! Too easy for group of experienced players though.

Pros:

+ A full Silent Hill 1 game!
+ Hard! No melee! Except one axe.
+ Ammo and supplies are scarce, maps are long...so yeah, it SURVIVAL! In the true meaning of this word!
+ Very detailed, non-linear, big maps!
+ A lot of puzzles! Actually, ALL of the puzzles from SH1 are present!
+ Scary moments
+ Silent Hill music
+ Siren at the end of the alternative reality maps
+ 4 different endings! Hell yeah!
+ GREAT atmosphere if you play on realsim with friends!

Cons:

- Too long for casual players, so it maybe hard to finish it in one go if you play with friends
- Bots are useless
- Sometime zombies spawn
- It's really easy to get lost unless you played Silent Hill 1

Conclusion:

This campaign is both way too long and way too hard for casual player. So if you want to just derp around, then pass on, nothing to see here. 
But if you are Silent Hill fan, this map will be a paradies for you. Oh yeah it is! It brings the very true Silent Hill experience - both survival and atmospheric! I strongly recommend to play it on advaned realism! It goes way too much freaking hardcore on expert realism and looses a lot of atmosphere without realism mode.
Don't forget to bring your friends to leave them alone in impenetrable fog/darkness and watch them struggle to find out which way they should go hehehehehehe

Pros:

+Its Doom! Nastolgia!
+No bugs!

Cons:

-No Doom music. WTF srsly?
-Only one map.
-Not a popular Doom map.
-Way too easy (due to no special infected regular spawns and a damn lot of supplies)
-Bots are useless. Anyway, you can solo this map easily on expert realisom.

Conclusion:

Well, yeah, its Doom, but nothing out of odrinary. Also I would rather see a one of Doom II maps. Doom 1/2 campaign would be awesome.

Pros:

+ Tower defense-like map!
+ Very nice music, suits the map perfectly!
+ Ability to research and buy items!
+ You can build some good barricades!
+ Nice research tree

Cons:

- Too hard early game
- Too easy late game
- Research tree could be a more balanced. Bail jars + molotovs are cheap way to win. 
- Magnum counted as top-tier, hunter rifle low-tier, etc, etc
- Bots dont help you with research/build
- Lags when there are too much zombies

Conclusion:

If you played Sanctum then you already know what this map is. It's pretty much like Sanctum, but in L4D world! Well, I personally find this map simply AWESOME! I played this map with 4 friends for 5 hours straight! It was so fun!
The only actual cons of this maps that it's not balanced enough - its way too hard early game (if you play on advanced/expter) and way too easy late game (even on expert). But still the map is awesome and fun!

Pros:

+ Perfect Ravenholm replica with almost all of the original map bugs fixed
+ Good AI navigation
+ Cool, unusual for L4D level design - no corridor runs!
+ Very nice panic event at the end of chapter3
+ Good finale chapter
+ Balanced difficulty

Cons:

- "Open area" lifts dont really work in L4D2. There is a lot of bugs with them: AI navigation, a single charger can screw over a whole team, Tank getting lagged through the lift itself...
- Sometimes zombies spawn right into your face. Doesn't happen too often, thankfully.

Conclusion:

A very nice map you should give a try. It doesn't matter if you played HL2 or not, the map is awesome either way.
