Description
I love big space maps. The large, open, explorable maps is one of the many reasons I want to play Eve Online. Those maps were the very inspiration for this map, hence the name "Eve". I would have made it about twice the size it is, but at that size it was too large for the skydome and the game wouldn't let me spawn my units (outside of the 20,000x20,000 square at the center)... This is a three way map with bases in three of the corners (4 way if you count the NPC fleet, another tribute to Eve Online). There are three capturable bases as well, along with a crapload of asteroid mining facilities. The size of this map is most suited for use with mods with high space population caps and large ship types (for example, my favorite mod, ACM 2.4).
Changes for V2:
-Doubled the size of the asteroid belt
-Removed merchant space docks due to them being uncaptuarable.
-Added 2 hutt asteroid bases to replace merchant space docks
-Relocated NPC fleet
-Compacted outpost to make more effective and defensible.
-Added a second outpost on the other side of the asteroid belt
NOTE: This map is for FoC only!
Installation:
Place in your Custom Maps folder (Ex: C:/Program Files/Lucasarts/Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption/Data/CustomMaps)
If you want to use this in a mod, please ask me first. I'd really like to know if my maps make it into mods. Thanks in advance.
