Description
Introduction
Hello and welcome to my first map for Counter Strike:Global Offensive. How ever this isn't my first time using the source engine. I have made tons of maps using the older version of the source engine for Left 4 Dead 2, publicly releasing only four of them. This map is a greybox, beta, early access or what every you want to call an early developmental stage of a map. This is a hostage rescue map with a cs_office exterior setting and a deep substructure under the office buildings. I do my best to not copy and paste things from others maps, only time I will go into another's map is to see how they did what they did. I have read that the best thing to do for mapping in CS:GO is to let people play test the map early so that you can get feed back on what works and what doesn't, letting you make important changes at the early stage instead of the late stage, and that is what I intend to do.
Backstory as of far
Terrorists have infiltrated and taken over a substructure belonging to one of the office buildings though the tunnels of the substructure. The terrorist have been able to keep a low profile in the area while keeping hostage at bay, even using them to help with moving in bombs and other ordinance for a much bigger terror threat. It was only when a worker returning from vacation came back to work and started to notice suspicious activate, alerting the police. The terrorist know they have been caught and are preparing for the fight tying up the hostages and hiding them in the deepest part of the substructure.
To do list
-Ailing sky box up properly
-Edit navigational meshes
-Add more cover
-Add more detail
-Add radar
General
- I do not make custom textures nor models, so you wont be seeing any custom work that isn't already in the game.
-All feed back is useful
-Inspiration for making the map are from Payday 2 alesso heist and cs_office
-I will also be trying to add other game modes as well.
-Map is layerd
-Pronunciation: F AW K - y uh r
Hope you enjoy the map.
