- Wonderfully nostalgic
- Very good attention to detail
- Excellent atmosphere/environment
- Creepy as hell!
- Great customizations and interesting use of subtle features
- Easy to get lost in the fog or dark (adds a sense of panic that enhances the overall experience)
Cons:
- Easy to get lost in the fog or dark (sometimes this does make a campaign take an extra 30 minutes and can get annoying at some parts)
- Minor bugs/glitches
Conclusion:
Other Thoughts: I can't really count it as a con, simply because it wasn't in excess, but while I appreciate that this campaign heavily rewards exploration, I feel as though there were just a few too many healing items. I was playing on Advanced, and I am sure I wouldn't be saying that on Expert. (Which I intend to try next) During multiplayer, if one player walks into an area to trigger a cutscene event, it will warp all players there without warning, resulting in missed items as well as having players getting attacked by a mob during the cutscene, unable to do anything about it until after control is regained.
Conclusion: I genuinely adored this campaign and feel as though it was one of the best I have ever played. I usually play a campaign once or twice and delete it, but this one is definitely a keeper. I've recommended it to friends and anyone who enjoyed the Silent Hill series. (Especially the first 3 games in the series) Keep up the good work!
