Pros:

Small map that handles special infected well
Barracading system best yet (Haven't tried ROTLD yet)
Very fun theme, reminds me of the first time I saw NOTLD

Cons:

Tanks are still a bit of a problem because, well, it's a house
AI is almost totally clueless

Conclusion:

The problem with L4D2 maps in which the action takes place inside a house, big or small, is the special infected. There are rarely places to run to, and tanks just ruin everything. Then again, this is a Lou Saffire map. And Lou Saffire knows how to make maps.

Pros:

VERY fun map
Love those "I remember that!" moments
Not too hard, not too easy
Decent amount of guns throughout the map

Cons:

Stairs require jumping and become very tedious
Finale is fun, but very problematic

Conclusion:

Honestly, the only problem I have with this map is the finale. The vine is either glitched, and unusable, or I don't have the patience to wait for the little "Rescue has arrived!" alert. 

Pros:

Unique map setup (scary images included)    LEGITIMATELY scary (or atleast unsettling)
Not too long, not too short.
WTF!?!? moments are plentiful
Completely original

Cons:

Linear run and gun gameplay
Terrible tank spawn (I got a tank 7 seconds after leaving the safe house)
Too easy to be overwhelmed before you even get to level 4
Infinite horde feeling slashes will to continue

Conclusion:

Apart from the lack of zombies in the finale, Haunted Forest is a great map, and is totally unlike anything I've ever played. It was fun, and I found myself warily eeking through the maps, afraid of seeing another vampire G-man. Despite this, it had it's fast-paced moments, so much so that I found it hard to make it past level 2 on my first attempts. It honestly feels as though the horde is infinite. Overall, while the map needs some fine-tuning, it is completely original and fun, as any L4D map should be.
