iLL I may have found a bug I wanted you people to know about. When I do a search with the beta version pressing the search button does nothing, although a list of possible matches does show up in a list. On the other hand when I do the same search for the same phrase (I used the word glock), with the old version of gamemaps the same list of possible matches shows up BUT when I press the search button it does in fact do a search instead of just showing that list. Now, if the new website is supposed to handle searches differently then maybe there is no issue but the reaction of the new website seems odd to me to say the least. Also, I wanted to make a design suggestion in case I haven't done this already (I can't remember): right now there is a limit of 10 screenshots that can be used for each mod. Could this be increased a little bit to say, 15? The reason I ask is that Left 4 Dead 2 now was 14 official campaigns and, as a modder, I'd like to have at least one screenshot for each of the campaigns because that proves the mod works just fine with those campaigns. I realize whether or not this is possible depends on server capacity, but I thought I'd ask as I believe all modders would appreciate this change. Heck on Steam I can basically have as many screenshots as I want but I always have to choose a best 10 to put on this website, and that can be quite challenging when I often have 20-30 of them! Thanks for taking the time to ready this- I do appreciate that you are busy people.

Hello, Indeed, the search has not been completed just yet. As you mentioned the possible matches appear but not the search page itself. This will be completed shortly. After seeing your request we have increased the screenshots limit to 20 today. We may also make this support an unlimited amount of images as well. And then display the screenshots by selecting the first X amount in the order provided. Or we may give you a setting that lets the system randomly select images for you on each page load. Appreciate the feedback, Regards
Wow! Thank you very much everyone.
However, archiving in general might need some minor tweaking with disabling comments/reviews. Now we seem to have people going around even further adding more review abuse to archived items. Archived content probably shouldn't be able to be searched for or at least interacted with at all. Possibly have it be similar to abandoned content as for as no commenting or reviewing ability.
To the gamemaps staff: Something needs to be done about the modder named l4dkk, such as perhaps giving them their own section for their mods. This person seems to basically upload a mod (or several) every single day, always claiming they were requested (which I doubt very much, but who knows.) The website has basically been taken over by this modder. Try finding anything by just browsing for survivors mods for example and you'll see what I mean. I'm not saying punish this person, because as far as I know they haven't broken any rules (and I'm a pretty prolific modder myself, so I'd be a hypocrite to say they should be punished for that.) But how in the world can anybody get any play from their new mod when this person is CONSTANTLY uploading mods, and usually far more than one at once? I'm planning on releasing some new ones and an updated one on Christmas Day but I doubt anybody will notice and that's not funny! Perhaps this person's mods should be in the tagged section of the website by default or perhaps, since they are all 8 of the same survivor type of mods they should by default go into the section for Survivor Packs? I don't know what the best solution is, but this person's mods are EVERYWHERE on the website to the point just browsing a section means having to go past dozens of this person's mods to find anyone else's. I don't think they are using incorrect tags though since technically they should be tagged with the names of all 8 survivors, since all 8 are replaced. I don't know what the best solution is, but I do know something must be done and I guarantee you people I'm not the only modder who is annoyed by this. This person seems to be going for the world record for most mods produced and that is fine, but gamemaps is supposed to be for everyone's mods not just theirs. Thanks as always for listening.

why was my message deleted? alfred's right and has a point. l4dkk is a thief, stealing, not properly crediting (if even at all) and just spams up the site. and has taken from me before without contacting me first. he's pretty much like what Sheriff Huck was in the past. these are the mistakes of the site and what needs to be learned from. unless you're actually condoning piracy AND theft in which case I will need to reconsider my future here. you should clarify and be more precise what you tolerate here instead of straight up silencing members for speaking up. that is very disrespectful seeing how long standing long term members are treated. as well as what you appear to allow versus what your own rules claim. smells like favoritism and bias honestly and this is only how you lose members. you invited us to this so called beta and want our feedback and criticism. so why not here us out... if something comes off too personal than privately contact us. how else can you learn from your mistakes.

Thanks for your support Trunten! And you made plenty of great points too. This response from management is beyond disappointing- if I thought contacting Rayman and complaining would do any good I would. But I think he's taking a vacation of sorts after all that work on The Last Stand Update.
