  • Pros:

-faithful recreation of Kakariko Village and the Fire Temple
    -custom enemies, items, and tanks
    -inventive game mechanics
    -fairly well tuned difficulty
-lots of easter egg-ish things to find

    Cons:

-Major lag issues as soon as we hit the temple.
-special infected spawn rate seems too frequent.

    Conclusion:

    (Possible spoilers below)
Great campaign, first of all. Huge step up from the Forest Temple campaign, which was also very good. I enjoyed just going around and exploring Kakariko Village to begin with (lol at the Link statue). There were a lot of little details to be noticed throughout the campaign, which made exploration worthwhile -- signs, 70s-related easter eggs, statues, cows, etc. Really enjoyable throughout. The Volvagia fight at the end was awesome (incredible intro).

Bot navigation wasn't terrible considering all the jumps, drops, elevators, doors, fire walls, timing puzzles, etc. throughout the temple, so congrats on that. There were still places where it got me into major trouble, but overall, it was serviceable. My major issue with this campaign was the lag that started as soon as I entered the temple. I had to turn down my settings to medium (travesty, I know), and I was still having some fair bits of lag toward the end. It's a blemish on an otherwise stellar campaign.

Hope to see more from you in the future. If you can figure out a way to get the Shadow Temple into this game, you will become a god among men.
