Short and fun

It stays true to the beta version—a short campaign just to pass the time. I did notice a few issues, especially with the ending: even though the bots climb the stairs, they don't fully get inside the helicopter, forcing the player to either kill them or wait for them to die before finally escaping.

If I had to add one more thing, I’d like the poster to have white stripes; it would give it more style.

Peruvian essence

An incredible campaign packed with Peruvian references; the port is almost identical to the L4D2 version. I had a few issues with the bots, but nothing serious.

Excellent work porting this campaign, Vaz; I look forward to seeing more of your ports for the L4D1 community.

an excellent start

A thoroughly enjoyable and visually stunning campaign; it’s a real shame it wasn't finished, though I think it would work well as a single-chapter map.

The bots performed decently, as always—I can't really ask for much from the L4D1 AI.

Fun, but flawed

A quite original campaign; honestly, it is one of the few that takes the L4D1 engine in a more humorous direction. Unfortunately, the campaign has deteriorated over time: Chapter 1 cannot be completed, while Chapters 2, 3, and 4 are passable—aside from issues with the bots.

In short, an excellent campaign that hasn't aged well.

Interesting aesthetic

I thought the campaign was good; sure, it’s your typical generic campaign, but the atmosphere in the chapters is genuinely good—it makes you feel like you’re somewhere you shouldn’t be. It’s a shame the campaign was abandoned.

By the way, it would be better to use your own poster rather than using someone else's without the original artist's permission.

a really bad map

A thoroughly unpleasant campaign; the lighting is fine, but everything else goes from bad to worse—especially chapters 2 and 3. I don't get the obsession with throwing in Tanks or annoying scripted events. The map is only saved by the fact that shotguns in *Left 4 Dead* aren't nerfed against Tanks.

It has potential.

It has a somewhat long campaign; it isn't finished and has likely been abandoned. Its two playable chapters were decent enough, though I had issues with the bots in Chapter 2, and it needs better signposting—specifically, adding an aura to panic events so they can be identified.

Something that stands out from the generic

A simple campaign—nothing remarkable, except for the ending, where the author took the trouble to create their own escape sequence.

There isn't much to say; it's a campaign just to pass the time. It takes a little while, but it's quick to complete.

Interesting, but poorly executed.

It has unique mechanics; honestly, had it been finished, it would have been an excellent campaign. It’s a shame that poor navigation and the campaign's labyrinthine layout result in a low score.

Big Wat's dad?

This map could easily have been the inspiration for Big Wat, but I noticed some issues while playing it: poor wall placement in Chapter 3 and bot navigation errors in Chapters 1 and 5—especially the latter, as the bots wouldn't head to the rescue point.

I’d say it’s enjoyable and fast-paced, but the bot behavior leaves a lot to be desired in the chapters mentioned.

abandoned potential

A pretty solid, visually pleasing, and very fun campaign; unfortunately, it only has one chapter and has been completely abandoned. I would have liked to see this project finished.

An almost excellent job

An excellent campaign; the concept of heading toward a base inside a mountain is quite original. The scenery is beautiful, and it’s clear the author put a lot of effort into the work.

However, the map isn't perfect; it has two serious issues.

There are no supplies in any of the safe rooms—except for Chapters 2 and 3, where you at least get ammo and a pistol.

Another issue is a conflict with the base game; while it could negatively affect gameplay, a fixed version already exists, so it’s not a major problem.

Excellent work—I love maps that make the most of L4D1's resources.

A slight improvement over its predecessor.

You can really notice some improvements in "The Woods 1" campaign—such as a custom poster and more chapters—making it a genuine upgrade. However, it still suffers from the same old flaws; there are several wasted events—why just throw them in out of nowhere?—and some areas are nothing more than dead ends where you could have at least placed some supplies.

An enjoyable campaign, good just for passing the time.

A not-so-generic map

It’s a decent enough campaign, though there are some issues that make the journey a bit tough; I’m impressed by the quality of the events—even though it’s your first campaign, the dedication you put into it really shows.

There’s room for improvement, but the bonus level is a nice touch; yours is the first custom L4D1 campaign to include something like that. Good work, my friend.

A generic forest campaign

It’s a simple campaign; it has navigation issues, the bots take way too long to pick up weapons in Chapter 1, and it doesn't even have a promotional poster.

But at least it's decent a map I'd only play once.

A perfect fusion of Dead Air with Blood Harverts

A campaign that makes the most of the *Blood Harvest* atmosphere; the route felt comfortable, and the bots performed more than decently.

There were a few minor, insignificant glitches, but overall, it’s a perfect campaign for having a good time.

Playing it alone is a punishment.

A map full of errors; you can tell it was designed exclusively for multiplayer. Some events are poorly executed, and you often don't know where to go.

I’d say it was a decent attempt at a "troll map," but it’s a shame it lacks the essence that *Glubtastic* radiates.

Good port, but abandoned.

I tried this campaign in L4D2 and really loved it, so I was excited to see that a version for L4D1 existed. It’s a shame the project was abandoned—though there were indeed some parts that needed more polish—so let's hope a modder picks it up and ports it over.
