Great map!
Really great map! It's so unique and well done. The atmosphere is really tense - it's so dark and you have no idea what's coming. There are large rooms where you wish your torch was more powerful so you can see what's ahead and there are narrow corridors and crypts making you feel claustrophobic. There are several distinct different feels as you progress through the story, with a forest at the start, industrial zone, lab, wierd blood dumping area, abandoned insane asylum/prison (probably my favourite bit - but it's hard to choose!), spooky crypts and a church cathedral finale! The map design is interesting as it often makes you loop back on itself so you will be in a corridor next to the one you were just in which made the area seem large and expansive and made me feel like I was a rat trapped in a maze! The levels are lengthy and the campaign took me about 2.5 hours to complete on Advanced mode (although I had to restart several times because I'm bad at video games). I did have a few problems with the AI, such as on the end of the lab zone where you had to get into the lift (being vague - trying not to spoil it for people) but this would not be an issue with human players. Additionally they had trouble path around some of the other areas and getting up ladders which was very annoying if I was pinned down by a hunter for example. Some of the levels were a little confusing and it's sometimes not immediately obvious what you have to do, such as one part when I had to go through a door but I needed to find and turn on a secluded electrical switch first. All things considered though I would definitely recommend this map to any players - unless you are easily scared!
