Pros:
cheesy, but in a good way the theme
Cons:
the surrounding buildings are a bit stale
Conclusion:
cute and fun, but got bored of it
Pros:
cheesy, but in a good way the theme
Cons:
the surrounding buildings are a bit stale
Conclusion:
cute and fun, but got bored of it
Pros:
clear theme well crafted lots of details lots of places to fight the enemy at indoor and outdoor spaces theme
Cons:
none
Conclusion:
great map. perfect for survival mode/
Pros:
layout matches RE (as I remember it) interior and exterior areas fun with zombie mod running elevator secret room
Cons:
wish there were custom models that helped fit the resident evil theme got lost at first -- it really is a maze
Conclusion:
nice touch with the secret room you shoot into.
Pros:
theme lighting details gameplay/layout/size the areas you redid (like CT and T spawn)
Cons:
bottleneck for the terrorists heading to A via the longest route?
Conclusion:
I know it's not done yet, but it has the look of a very completed map. I've played the original and this is a massive improvement, mainly visually. Once the radar is added this will be perfect. Thanks

Pros:
merging the l4d world into the cs:go world surprisingly not too dark, even for cs:go quick action, if you are into that
Cons:
to be fair, it's not original work
Conclusion:
the author says he made it from scratch by referencing the l4d version, which kind of doesn't make sense to me. I assume it's because you don't want to decompile something, but really whats the difference when it is basically exactly the same in the end?
Pros:
* classic...
Cons:
* so many rough, straight angles. nothing dynamic about the architecture. in other words, it is super blocky * serious lack of detail
Conclusion:
Classic yes, but it just looks so bad. I wish a lot more detail and time went into this.
Pros:
* massive diversity in elevation. You climb 2 floors high in the castle/church * a map where smoke nades actually are useful as terrorists. for example toss a few near site B when you move in to plant so snipers don't get you * looks different than most maps * good size
Cons:
* the terrorist path to site A can get a bit cramped
Conclusion:
Another great one we used to play, and I look forward to seeing it converted for cs:go since I don't play source anymore. Curious to see if any of it is changed.
Pros:
* look and design * pathways * lighting * enough open space for game play * that room you can break into * distance between bomb sites
Cons:
* if the terrorists rest too long at the start of the round they will find themselves stuck in a cluster/choke point not far outside of spawn (near the market). But this is not really a con, more of an issue with how people play.
Conclusion:
Hey nova - thought I would stop by and write a review now that you have this uploaded here. I remember this one for sure. I will say I think this one is more successful as a DE map, unless you have a good CT team on the hostage version.
Pros:
true to movie (as far as I remember) nice army of gunners
Cons:
the mountains have rough edges, needs texture blending badly the textures in general are a bit stale as it's a lot of the same
Conclusion:
see my pros and cons, I mainly want to see the cons fixed, as the visuals are all that bug me. otherwise, good job.

Pros:
cool name some cool areas but... (see cons)
Cons:
empty areas with lack of details looping textures on displaced terrain makes me go "eek!"
Conclusion:
needs more polish!
Pros:
what can I really say that hasn't already been said...custom assets, cool environments, etc. It has it all. It is very, very well done.
Cons:
My cons are purely subjective and minor. So minor I won't even mention them
Conclusion:
99 out of 100! good work, great campaign, cool dev too
Pros:
Architecture Gun and item placement Performance is fine on my machine Good progression of events and difficulty Above average lighting Every level meets the theme and is unique at the same time Custom textures help make it European Amazing poster, very pro no more disco
Cons:
none anymore (removed)
Conclusion:
This is my updated review. I bumped up the rating based on the newer versions

Pros:
Fog Theme
Cons:
Lack of details and decals, needs more variety to make it more realistic
Conclusion:
Great starting point, keep at it until it becomes something more rich in detail

Pros:
Length Lots of modes Effort
Cons:
Got little lost Supplies Level of detail...could use more trim and details
Conclusion:
Reminds to much of what came w l4d2
Pros:
Look Feel Mood Use of prop placement in hot spots
Cons:
Similar areas Finale is ok
Conclusion:
I know this was made a while ago so I don't think people should judge so highly in terms of comparing to the latest l4d2 work

Pros:
Some cool buildings
Cons:
Short Darkness Flat areas Old brushwork (sometimes not realistic and needs clean up) Lack of detail
Conclusion:
Really, no offense, but don't write hammer articles yet, practice more first
Pros:
Snow not seen often
Cons:
Blocky and flat Needs more details Similar environments Lack of props 3d skybox?
Conclusion:
This needs more details, displaced terrain, props, less hard edges, etc. in order to make it look and feel better. Trey to find ways to make each area stand out too.
