    Pros:

    You can see enemies before they hit you.
Don't have to use confusing console commands.
Can still earn achievements, if your an achievement hunter.

    Cons:

    You can't hear any shotgun in the game until the shells drop.

    Conclusion:

    This is a excellent mod to have handy. I never really use the shotguns within the game anyways but it's still out there.
