Raw and Dark

Numerous players urged me to try this map and share my thoughts, insisting you’d really enjoy it. I ran it using L4D2 without encountering any issues.

Regarding the environmental design and general experience, I’m quite pleased. The gritty, dark atmosphere fits this game perfectly. Overly spacious and open sections don’t enhance the map — instead, they highlight the emptiness and underdeveloped surroundings. I appreciate your effort to introduce new gameplay mechanics. The overall feel reminds me of “death corridors”. It’s heartening to see that this map still has a dedicated fanbase eager for a sequel after all these years. I wish I could find such loyal fans for my own creations.

  A intersting puzzle solving and trap passing map with good atmosphere. Guns, ammo and hidden items are placed very well. Medkits are a bit much but it's fine. Unfortunately it's an unfinished campaign with only 3 maps, and has some minor bugs. When I finished map 2 and started map 3, somehow it repeated the items, made it have 8 medkits and 2 pain pills. When I died and restarted, I was spawned in the end room, not the start room. This bug didn't occurd when I play map 3 from the lobby. 1 door of map 3 didn't open so I must use cheat. Anyway, I have enjoyed exploring this map with bots

Review

I encountered allot of issues playing this campaign. The wind section, the bots had trouble getting up there, bad navmesh in soem areas, bots hanging and commiting suicide and quite confusing where to go. Also lacks a finale.

the wind section was just a timed puzzle but yeah i gave up on the thing. to many bugs to fish out. to bad , it was fun making it at the first..... oh well

Pros:

Awesome graphics.  Refreshing change from the standard cityscapes. Well placed ammo and health.  Unique props.

Cons:

Need a fast processor and a good graphics card to get the most out of it.

Conclusion:

It's one of the better maps for l4d.  Can't wait to see the rest of it.

End of results.
