Pros:

- dark and consistent atmosphere

- it felt like all the maps blurred together; they felt very similar to each other, as if the campaign could have been just one big area

Decent campaign with a dark atmosphere, although you may leave a little tired of it.

- Excellent integration of puzzles into the general feel of the campaign
- The little "tutorials" that introduced mechanics or showed the route ahead were very helpful
- Particularly enjoyed the "review" section of the finale

Fantastic campaign. I loved the puzzles, and the general imaginative quality of the maps. Great job!

- level design was fairly intuitive
- really enjoyed the music during the 3rd map
- the last 2 maps provided a challenge
- finale: seems to discourage picking up incapped teammates. The gas moves fairly quickly and doesn't stop. It would be nice to be able to take a short break from running. Getting caught in a mob usually meant death, especially if you weren't the front runner. There wasn't much incentive to work together.

- No matter what server, the game always crashes on map 2, just after the ambulance scrounges up supplies. I'm not sure why.

Great campaign. I find that the finale doesn't promote teamwork as much as the rest of the campaign due to the speed and non-stop nature of the neurotoxin.

Pros:

- graffiti was clever (especially the French ones) but sometimes illegible
- scripted events made it unique
- alternate pathways

- some areas were very easy to get lost in; the house felt like a maze
- sometimes seemed a little plentiful with the items on Advanced

Great campaign that shows what can be done with some imagination.

- more cans of gas than you need for the finale; gives a sense a choice
- abundance of supplies for the finale

- the collapsing floor was frustrating to navigate
- sentry guns didn't seem to do anything but spin around
- 16 cans is a bit tedious for scavenge

Conclusion:

Great campaign. Highly enjoyable. Scripted events and puzzles set it apart from "just another campaign".

- jukebox was funny

- feels very unfinished (third saferoom, map edges, missing pictures)
- some areas feel too open
- finale area was a bit simple
- died on spawn on map 2
- no pointers (for run on map 2 and finale)
- bots don't seem to pick up kits some times
- no rescue on finale

Conclusion:

I generally like the map design, but I think you should have at least made the campaign completable before you submitted this.

Pros:

- very cool concept: a story was established and everything
- interesting and creepy graffiti
- map seemed to be a bit stingy with the pickups, but that could have just been the director
- nice work with the finale
- tomb interior was fantastic

Cons:

- beginning was pretty difficult on advanced: only two extra pistols and one health pack (it fits with the story, but it's always a pain killing infected with only pistols)

Conclusion:

One of the best custom campaigns I've seen. The graffiti left little clues to the story and added to the atmosphere, and gameplay wasn't too hindered by anything big. A must-try, if not only to see how much work the creator has put into this.

Pros:

- I enjoyed the atmosphere of the 2nd map
- straightforward map design

Cons:

- ran out of ammo a lot
- glitch: unlimited pipe bomb + molotov pile

Conclusion:

Not much to say. Nothing spectacular, but not terrible either.

Pros:

- always cool to see good recreations
- good use of sound
- I liked the use of zombies posing for the different scenes

Cons:

- climbing up that last hill was a little glitchy
- wasn't much of a challenge if you decided to stay in the boat and have zombies spawn as well (also didn't have access to the other weapons and grenades if you wanted to stay on the boat)
- bots would fall off or get knocked off the boat and be unable to catch up
- the sets looked a little boxy at times

Conclusion:

Good recreation. A few problems here and there but I think the main thing is to enjoy a different experience with this map. I can see it being pretty fun if you're familiar with the ride.

Pros:

- really good recreation: I've never been on the ride but I might as well have been
- Interesting short new experience]
- decent placement of items
- scavenge event was a neat break and didn't need too many gas cans: good for single-player
- cool incorporation of a finale
- custom sounds and the instructions video

Cons:

- not exactly something to play if you're looking for a traditional campaign
- bug: I could still shoot and hit during the credits

Conclusion:

A refreshing break and unique way of showing off great design skills and presenting the game in a new way. Even during the finale, there was no confusion as to where to go, or anywhere that I'd get stuck in. Bots reliably followed. Excellent work!

Pros:

- incredible map designs
- creative ideas
- plenty of grenades, but also encourages smart throwing

Cons:

- finale was very difficult even on easy and 4 players
- not good to play with bots only
- fighting through the horde with on the ladders was difficult
- that girl's creepy voice will haunt my dreams forever

Conclusion:

Amazing campaign. Creative, fun, and a unique experience. 4 players is a must, but you'll probably have to play it on normal or easy.

Pros:

- Long campaign but managed to stay fresh
- Good weapon placement
- Nice surprise for the finale

Cons:

- Some nav problems (esp. just before you run the gauntlet on map 3: bots wouldn't follow me in, or even save me from a smoker dangling me right outside the entrance)
- Opening a gate on map 4 (the one with the minigun) was problematic: hit it once and heard the incoming horde sound, but no horde, and gate didn't open.. had to hit it multiple times before it would start
- Way too many wandering witches at one point
- Finale very tedious for single player (also couldn't find an ammo pile; just weapons and laser sights)

Conclusion:

Good and fun campaign. Bugs experienced were frustrating. Gathering 16 cans in single player -- especially when the map is so large and the cans are so scattered -- took a long time and was more tedious and difficult; ran through something like 9 tanks before I filled the generator. Sometimes it was confusing where to go, simply because the areas were so large. Gauntlets were fun but length and/or crampedness led to less panic and running and more "slowly sludge through incoming zombies with melee weapons"

Pros:

Cons:

- nothing really stood out

Conclusion:

Decent short campaign. Got a little tired of the city scene, but hey, what do you expect from a map called DeadCity 2

Pros:

- mansion was unique
- good atmosphere
- fun finale

Cons:

- first map felt like the same thing throughout the whole map
- sometimes hard to see where to climb in the finale
- missing texture in the fireplace

Conclusion:

A good short campaign.

Pros:

- school area was new
- some areas were interesting

Cons:

- too many special infected at some parts
- horde too intense sometimes
- the underground maze where you turn off the alarm was really unnecessary

Conclusion:

Map could use a few changes here and there. I got lost in the maze trying to figure out what to do for a while. Felt like there were a few too many zombies in the school, even though it was turned into an evac centre.

Pros:

- Length: nice to have a short campaign to play sometimes
- Finale wasn't bad

Cons:

- Frustratingly dark, even with visibility turned up

Conclusion:

It was great for a short campaign. A little brighter and it would have been excellent.

- Many ammo dumps but few weapons
- Sometimes confusing

Conclusion:

This was a great campaign. It felt very player-made, but at the same time could believably be an official campaign. Loved the creepy atmosphere in some areas -- the broken lights upped the "disturbing" factor. The sounds were a great touch; they were entertaining. The finale is now my new favourite.

I had a bit of trouble during the first part, in terms of where to go. The generator was also a bit of a problem; at first I thought there might've been a glitch. Some further exploring found the solution, but a hint would have saved much time and frustration. 

Overall, I preferred this interpretation of a big mall over the one in Dead Center. Excellent work!
