Medkit Kitty! (Medkitty)(L4D1)

Do you know what's better than stumbling across a pristine-clean medical kit to aid your injuries? Well, cats of course!

But do you know what's better than stumbling across a cat whilst still having nothing to aid your injuries? Cats with medkits, of course!

After digging around some developer files and leaked conference presentation powerpoints, I actually made quite the interesting discovery. In the early of days of Ye Olde Left 4 Dead Beta, there actually were no medical kits at all. Instead there were stray cats that would wander throughout the campaigns (much like the fallen survivors) that you'd have to chase and catch to rub all over yourself to heal your wounds. 

Later on Valve added these health-regenerating felines to saferoom checkpoints, but considered it very odd that so many cats would be kept in one room without a litter box, so the cat concept was disgarded in favor of regular medkits. Wtf, Valve literally can't do anything right (#BeytahMasturRace, amirite?)

Well here I am to breathe new life into this forgotten concept, and what I did was simply place a medkit on the backs of these friendly creatures so I can justify so many being oddly stuffed into a medical cabinet (and cats like boxes, right?). So now when you're feeling down and out from that hunter that pulled about 3 miles worth of your intestines out of you, you can simply heal your injuries by slathering this little kitty all over yourself and listen to him purr in delight!

Though he'll have to go run off to a private corner to lick all your blood off himself, so they're only up for doing it once. But maybe when they're nice and clean again they'll meet you at the next saferoom!
