Restore Survivor Upgrade Text
Left 4 Dead
As some of you know (or may not know), L4D has an upgrade system that is disabled by default. The upgrade system itself is NOT a mod. It is built into the game itself. However, you do need a plugin to enable it. You will see this text only if the upgrades are enabled in the game. The game tries to call for the text from a file when notifying the survivors of these upgrades. The problem is that even though the code to call this text to be displayed IS there in the game, BUT the file it tries to pull the text from is missing the text that the players need to see. Fortunately, I was able to recover it from the game code. View the changelog for more info.

Upgrades to abilities or items that you have. For example, one upgrade give you more powerful ammunition.

Survivor Upgrades, which was originally installed and released by Turtle Rock Studios before Valve took over, Valve left it in the game, but disabled it using a cvar that is hidden and can only be used with sourcemod. Thus, the remaining missing text files are gone and need to redefined. Fairly easy if you know where to look for them.

Marcus, That was in Left 4 Dead 2 too and also real ellis Upgrades like ledge revives and stuff to do alone are upgrades and such other things and also Marcus how do i download sourcemod for L4D
