another worthless upload
"It contains maps 3 and 4 of a 6 map campaign" - just lol. Are we on a diet now? Chopping up campaigns to pass them off as appetizers? And do I even need to ask if you got Evil's permission before stealing it to post here? I'd be extremely surprised if you did. Huck 3.0 in the making. I'm sure the original is very proud of you.

thre's at least two, maybe three others, I'm curious if you're going to go after... or only just continue harassing Darth and Dave. because, you know, complaining isn't exactly going to help. it's almost as if you're baiting them, all it will do is just fuel them to continue.

@crowley1661 Only you are pathetic here . ) In contrast to your moans I'm busy affair . Did you even create one map ? ) What would be at least something to say? Behind my back are 24 maps for cs ze, 3 half-life mod and cs go 12 map. Created by me personally . At the same time, I manage to work and catch criminals. What are you doing sitting here with your critic's pants on?)

Well, I usually avoid presumptions about thievery unless it's officially confirmed & proven. Like this campaign, when I googled, I still couldn't find it in steamcommunity. & I think if you really want to help the author to report stolen content, you shouldn't do this kind of act of humiliating someone in public, as people will more likely see that you're having personal problems with the uploader. Isn't it more effective if you invite the author himself here? Less talk, & direct confirmation from the author, & problems solved. It only takes few minutes to register here just to investigate stolen contents. That's if the content is really stolen or uploaded without permission. Again, I don't want to make any presumptions for now...

Darth if I even have to explain it to you, then you're far dumber than you are a good thief. And you're not the only thief I've seen. I've been part of the L4D2 community since before it was released, and I've seen a lot of them come & go. You're not the smartest, you're just the newest in a line of stupid thieves trying to score brownie points on the internet by reposting other people's unfinished work without permission, resulting in a heap of broken, unfinished clutter of addons. And if you took the time to ASK if people have a problem with it, you'd know that they do. You're pathetic.

@andreng well, if you started a conversation then ... I don't think you know that most players don't care at all. the main thing is to play normal maps and in half of the world there are no copyrights and piracy is allowed. Also for each country in the steam there are even different rules for players from different countries and even for steam workshop

you realize there's other thieves here, right... like, actual thieves... ones who don't credit at all. seems you only want to target Huck (who left here long ago) and Darth... as well as make a shit about Dave but I'm done arguing with you about him. Dzhigurda is another one, but you might not be familiar with him under that name. he's a bit of a thief more on the work shop as "popthesefools". Dzhigurda pushes the line more with redistributing older versions of Helm's Deep pushing copyright with the soundtrack. I suspect you let some of these other ones slip under the radar if they appear to actually be fixing something. or if you didn't have any bad play-through experiences with them. no, the real problem is with how the site is run, ultimately. slim to no moderation unless we users complain. oh, right, I almost forgot you also take issue with the administration. hmm, funny how that same administration has actually successfully taken action and gotten me results in the Steam community.

Probably you didn't know that it's kind of one of the author's, Evil's habit to make few maps first & then add more later. If you ever played the other campaigns made by him, you'd understand. . Btw why did you write a review only worth a comment here? Your review looks like as if you just judge the book by its cover, & there's no single explanation about what's in those map 3 & 4. Probably you should have posted a comment instead of a cheap review like this.

Overpowered mess
- Breaks other script mods that have BETTER common/uncommon infected selection - seriously, are the riot cops too hard for you? - completely ruins any challenge the game might've had by grossly overpowering pretty much every weapon. This mod was made for noobs who want every shot to instakill everything. Avoid like the plague if you don't play with God Mode turned on.

Well I guess I should have stayed retired. You are of course entitled to your opinion but I'd like to point out the following: you can't have script mods installed at the same time that conflict with one another because they are both trying to make changes to the exact same file. If you have script conflicts they will, on average, always cause trouble whereas other types of conflicts MIGHT cause trouble. It is very important to look at the Addons section and see if mods that are scripts show up in red because unlike conflicts among mods that changes models for example, if two script mods conflict you are ALWAYS going to have trouble instead of sometimes. Sometimes conflicts with models for example are just caused by similarities in models names and the mods actually work fine together. That said I'm planning an update of this mod, it will be version 2.0 so I'm planning a lot of changes and one of them will be a new population file because you are not the first person to tell me they don't like the population. I might release it on Halloween when I'm releasing other new mods, but I can't guarantee it will be done that soon as I must test if obviously. However, since you obviously don't like overpowered script mods you probably won't like that one either but I'm sorry because I can't please everyone!

Zero "remake" factor
I quit halfway through map 4 because I've played all this already. There's nothing remotely remade about this one. Looks exactly like vanilla No Mercy, aside from a couple minor negligible edits - the removed crashed car from the safehouse building in map 1 - the replaced safehouse in map 2--->3 - oh and now you have to jump onto the truck and a ladder to get to the warehouse instead of using the forklift....how original. No new areas to explore, no different routes to take, nothing. It's all copy/paste with no "remake" factor to speak of. Waste of bandwidth.

hey buddy I think you misunderstood the purpose of this campaign's existence. you might want to look more into left 4 dead 1's beta stages

Hard fail.
When you're not talented enough to create something original, so you just mash up what already exists. Hard fail.
Uploader obviously hasn't played this.
Does this guy play the stuff before he uploads them? Not "had"....."HAVE" invisible models. - transparent saferoom walls - pitch black doors that you only go through by accident - empty environment one second and then common infected materialize out of thin air the next - copy/paste from original L4D campaigns everywhere Other than that, nothing memorable to speak of, just another average forgettable L4D campaign. Nothing to write home about. Uploader blowing smoke up bottoms as usual. I'm feeling generous so I'll give it 2 stars instead of 1. Kisses.

I see there are some brushes acting up since I ported it. An unfortunate issue of porting / recompiling. This thing worked for months out on the workshop. One of my playtesters says there are a couple of problems that are easy enough fixed. I'll check out the problems and get them fixed this evening after work. .BTW this is a classic L4D1 campaign. Shame you didn't like it. It's been on here since 2010 I believe. Just making it playable in L4D2 for those of us who appreciate being able to still enjoy the classics.
