Played this last night. Overall it was an excellent campaign. See the Kurochama review below as it pretty much covers all the bases.
I played this with Bots and overall they played well. Overall I give Bot Nav a 90% only due to a couple of times they ran ahead when getting near the safe room. Rochelle hung up once but did the teleport trick to rejoin us.
I really like the look of the undead. Most of the standard ones are skeletonized which looks really good and fits the overall environment (which I liked). Basically you appear to be taking a walk through hell. <G>
Special look the same with the exception of the ghost tanks. Note these have much lower hit points than your normal tank. So no issue when you see multiple ones coming. Just pick a location to funnel then towards you from the front. Easy to take them out that way.
On map #3 you get to walk through flames. Trick is to look at them as markers for the travel lane (like airport runway lights). Do this and you can run through it OK.
Map #5 was the Finale. On quibble is I have is the Helicopter is waiting. No the elevator is waiting. Step in and you done. perhaps the elevator was taking us up to a waiting helicopter.
Overall it was a fun campaign with no major issues. Someone complained about having to find switches but a lot of L4D2 Campaigns have that format. It's not a big deal as I always like to explore a bit as I might find something useful to use.
Appreciate the effort it took to produce it. I had a good time with it and am certain others will as well.
Thanks for Posting it "Evil".

Left 4 Dead 2
-Welcome to Deadsville- (Pro log) They thought they had escaped once they boarded the helicopter and took to the air. Until a large object struck the side of the helicopter. Was it a tank rock? No, it couldn't have been. The answer was quickly revealed as the momentum of the impact turned the helicopter to reveal that Malphas had returned. As they began to return fire, another impact sent the helicopter into a hopeless spin towards the ground. (:boom:) Now they are beyond life. But also beyond death. They have been shackled to the roles of servants to the demon Malphas. And now they must find a means of resurrection before their souls are enslaved to Malphas eternally. (This is a work in progress. It contains maps 3 and 4 of a 6 map campaign. Check the pinned discussion for details) This is the part 3 of a 3 campaign story. A good challenging campaign with hellish environments
By kurochama
Well, I think I've changed my mind. I'll leave a review & later update it when the 6th map is released. This campaign takes place in hellish environments, just like the prequels. However, some custom skins are added on this campaign. The common infected zombies are mostly skeletons now, & there are custom tank skin & tank theme. Certain areas have custom background music like tribal drum instrumental music. Two things that make this campaign scarier than the other 2 prequels are the tank's challenges & boss fights. I'll explain that later.
.
In overview, this campaign has good bot navigation. The directions & highlights on switches & corpses are clear. However, the first two maps are low on good guns, as only Tier 1 weapons (smgs, pump shotgun etc) are available. If lucky, there's a Tier 2 weapon on map 2 (a bot usually picks that first. Bots sure are cheating...). Other supplies are scattered all over the maps.
.
Map 1 is about exploring tunnels to find a way out to the plains with few trees & red rivers. There's a scripted tank spawn around the plains. The scripted tank has lower health than usual, so it's still beatable when shooting & running around the plains.
.
Map 2 takes place in a building. The objectives are to look for switches to open the locked doors. There's a special alarm panic event near the end of the map. Somehow the alarm can't be turned off, so the zombies keep coming while survivors are trying to open the rolling door leading to the elevator. Tank comes one by one on certain interval after the horde, so survivors need to enter the elevator as soon as possible.
.
Map 3 is also about tunnel exploration while looking for switches. There's a holdout event during waiting for the underworld boat. There are some good spots to defend during this event. It's recommended to juggle the weapons & grenades somewhere else, because the default supply spot is too open. Tank also comes on certain interval after horde. However, that boat event is not the end. There's a pitch-black area waiting ahead, where only flames show the way. Never walk recklessly, because the ravines are invisible due to the pitch-black effect. There's a scripted tank pursuit event here. The tank has lower health, but he'll keep spawning on certain interval after the previous tank is dead.
.
Map 4 has a tank's challenge in the beginning of map after getting out of the boat into the cave. I forget how many tanks coming one to another after the previous tank is dead, but they are more than 5 in total as the last turns will have like 2 tanks spawned instead, before the rolling door is unlocked. Tank's health is lower than usual, so with right strategies, player can beat them one by one. After all doors are unlocked, there's a holdout event during waiting for the elevator near the end of the map. Somehow, bots will be bugged like wanting to go to the saferoom (elevator) when survivors defend near the elevator, so it's better to take other spots if playing with bots.
.
Then, the scariest one is map 5. Like before, the objectives are pressing some switches leading to the graveyards where the boss fights happen. Once the path to the 1st graveyard opens, the 1st boss fight begins after all survivors enter the graveyard. The boss is the demonic balloon that previously appeared on the prequel "Unholy Ground" (the long path alternative). It has several lightning & laser attack patterns. Try not to shoot when the balloon is close, because when it dies, it will explode & that can instantly incapacitate any survivors nearby. After this balloon is dead, 4 sentinel tanks will challenge survivors one by one. Try to look at the tank statues above the graveyard wall to figure out which tank will attack first. After killing all 4 sentinel tanks there's 2nd demonic balloon boss waiting at the next graveyard. This balloon is kind of scarier because sometimes it drops some witches. After killing this 2nd boss, the rescue music is triggered & survivors have to run to the elevator while fighting horde & special infected.
.
In overalls, it's a challenging campaign with hellish environments & atmosphere. If you love old campaigns like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, you can trt this one too. It's playable in Singleplayer, but it's recommended to play with friends or other players, as there are some tank challenges & boss fights in which bots can't detect the custom boss (you're all alone shooting the boss during boss fight if playing with bots). I look forward to the 6th map, & will update this review soon after that.

Is this map completed? The Author said that it contains map 3,4,6......this is 5 maps campaign?
If this map is part 3 of 3 campaign...can the author combine all 3 part A forgotten place, Unholy ground and beyond dead into 1 map?

Well, I tested this one, & of all the prequels, I think this one is the scariest. There are several tank's challenges & many tank encounters, though the tank's health is reduced by the map's vscripts at certain areas. There's also a totally black area where only the flames show where the paths are. & at that totally black area, a new tank keeps spawning once the previous tank is dead, but the tank's health is reduced. There are like 2 boss fights here, & the boss is the same as that on the prequel "Unholy Ground", the demonic baloon. The last boss fight is scary because that baloon drops some witches.
.
In overalls, this campaign is about finding keys & switches to open gates & doors. The keys are on glowing corpses so it's not really difficult to find. There are custom tank theme & custom common infected (skull) that make the campaign scarier. However, the first two maps seem to lack good weapons, as during my play, bots & I only carried smg & pump shotguns. It's playable, but it's better to play with friends or other players especially during tank's challenges & running at the pitch-black area with only flames as the guides for the paths. I look forward to the 6th map, as it's kind of fun to see another campaign with Silent Hill atmosphere like this one. I'll put my review later when the 6th map is released.

Very generic campaign, ultimately boils down to a "find the button simulator." Fairly short one clocking in at about 20 minutes, this campaign has you finding buttons to unlock doors in a hellish environment. In regards to problems chapter 2 has real bad optimization problems, with constant high ping makes it not very enjoyable to play. The finale is basically non existent, you go into an elevator and the campaign abruptly ends. Not a great campaign but not terrible either, not much to comment on, just needs to be more fleshed out. Also the constant music loop in the finale was very annoying, could do without it.

Ok played this on easy with bots. 1st chapter, loved the hell fire run bit. That's new, kept falling of edge because two tanks up ass. Bots dealt with it easy though and saved me several times.
2nd Chapter, not so easy. Ladders not easy to find, but once see switch, there is sort of only one way to it so observation is a must.
No glitches, graphics good, atmosphere good, sound good. An intense expierence.
Would not play on expert realism though, survival odds 0%.
Got part 1 and 2 downloaded, but still recovering from this!
