Pros:
1st map: The “safe houseâ€s bring a really good climate to the campaign 2nd map: The mounted gun panic event was really clever, too bad it doesn’t work so well in Single Player 3rd map: HELL YEAH M60 4th map: The extinguish the fire event was pretty clever, though I did not notice water actually coming 5th map: I felt like I was at the Citadel on that low part What you did after touching the Monolit = pure awesomeness Overall: Tight and cramped spaces should make it quite challenging on harder difficulty Lightning (or the lack of) were really good
Cons:
1st map: Charger bots don’t recognize some walls as walls and try to charge through them 3rd map: It wasn’t very clear that we were supposed to turn on the power then come back, though the layout of that area made so that I didn’t spend too much time wondering what to do (you could just use a simple message like the “Find a way to extinguish the fireâ€) What the heck are CEDA uncommons doing here? 5th map: Bots are unable to function with high stairs Overall: I feel that the map would be too difficult for the Survivors on Versus - too many tight spaces that a Charger/Spitter can wreck havok.
Conclusion:
I played this on Single Player on Normal difficulty and it was pretty awesome. It seems like a perfect Campaign to play on Normal/Advanced difficulties, but I think that on Expert and Versus it could become frustrating due to the amount of tight/cramped spots.
