Please note, it does NOT come with any custom textures. The texture you see in the screenshots are CS:GO AK47's edited by Alex_D_Vasilkov. They can be found in Steam workshop, so feel free to use any custom skins that was originally use for AK such as K1CHWA's Golden AK47 skins.

This is not the AK47 but instead the AKM or modernizírovanny Avtomát Kaláshnikova (translation Modernized Kalashnikov Automatic Rifle) is a Russian assault rifle originated in the Soviet Union and was designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It was designed in 1950s and produced in 1959. The cartridge of the AK is chambered with 7.62mm and carries 30 rounds. As we mentioned earlier, the AKM is a modernized AK. The difference between it is quite obvious, the AK and AKM is has different milled receiver. The AKM has the slanted muzzle break for better accuracy of automatic fire, proving the AKM is more improved than the original AK. The AKM was used in service by the Soviets until in the late 70's, the AKM was replaced by AK74. Despite the AKM was replaced, the AKM is still in limited service to Russian military and police.

Somebody requested to replace the M16 instead the AK. Kinda odd but I guess this is for anybody who still wants the L4D2 AK instead of getting replaced by other AK mods. So nothing much to say it just replace the M16 with no custom sounds and textures.
