      Simple but fun

I finally got time to make a review on this campaign. This one is a simple campaign because map 2 is a revisited map going backward, back to the van. However, the journey is quite long & enjoyable, as long as a tank doesn't appear near the cars :D . The directions are clear but sometimes players need to walk around to find the guide arrow to jump down.
      .
The only problems I found are on map 2 or finale. The first problem is the ladder where survivors have to climb down after collecting the gas. The horde keeps coming & climbing up, & someone has to cover fire from above while others are climbing down, but this won't work in Singleplayer. There's a trick for Singleplayer though, like throwing a molotov down the ladder to burn all zombies down there then climb down & take some damage while running away from the flame. Bots sometimes just jump down & die on this ladder, especially when some zombies disturb them during climbing down. The second problem happens when survivors need to climb up on the other side. I don't know if it's just me or not, but on my several tries, there was a fake wall blocking the way. On my first play, I got confused & though that probably there was another route, but I didn't find...until I just jumped for fun on the stairs & miraculously passed through the fake wall to the ladder behind it.
      .
Other than those minor problems, this campaign is fun, especially on finale. It's really fun to keep running & shooting while horde & special infected keep coming. Thankfully, the supplies are enough so anytime the ammo is running out, players can pick ammo or swap weapons on some places during running back to the van. Btw, just a little suggestion for the author, but I think it would be better if the other chapters are linked below the description using "linked contents". That way, other players can also enjoy the adventures from the "Burning Night" chapter to "Infection Overdrive" one.

Not too shabby if I do say so myself. And I dooo

The first map is quite nice and interesting. The second map has some flaws though and is too frantic. The infinite stream of zombies is too difficult for 2 people on expert and the ladders are often impossible to climb due to the hordes of zombies. And in the end we almost lost due to game telling us to "get on a chopper" while we should have gone into a van.
      • Yeah, this one was an experiment on some different styles of gameplay. Indeed it can be way too ruthless on higher difficulties, but I'm glad you liked at least some of it's parts

3.5 stars, short but quite intense

Based on completion of this map on expert realism twice with friends w/o bots, I think it's pretty cool, quite intense at our my first playthrough. And I think this's the Johnny's map so far that I feel like playing it again after trying it once, lol. I'm gonna just list some of the things that I think if addressed, can make this map better.
      - Intro scene was bugged again o.o
      - At my video 36:00, there's a weird wall that doesn't make sense which I believe it's a design flaw
      - None of our characters were holding gas cans when we were doing the return trip even though we were to carry them back to the truck
      - At the 2nd run 'cause I already know it's a long gauntlet back to the truck so we scavenged 4 biles at the first chapter and it became too easy to run through at the 2nd chapter. Maybe could make the biles more rare or harder to find? Or maybe only spawn some of them at the 2nd chapter along the way?
      - It's indeed a short map
Overall I think it's quite a fun experience. Thanks for the map
      • Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed playing it. About those problems, I'll try to fix them soon. The intro is kinda strange, as it works in single player, and the wall at 36:00 is another bug I still have to find a fix.

      Short but good.

This is a lot shorter than most campaigns, but makes up for it in the tension department. The layout of the maps is (mostly) well done, and it played quite well. The hordes on the last level might need some slight tweaking for higher difficulties, and I've previously mentioned the issues with ladders, but apart from that it was very well done.

      Review

Great campaign! However, there are some landscape issues I guess you could call them. There are tears in the landscape by the cliff in the first chapter, you can see through the world there. And there's a wall on the finale blocking the stairway that you can just walk through. Not sure if that was intentional or not. But other than that, it's a solid campaign in my opinion. Quite nice map design, even though it just involves running across a bridge twice, it wasn't that bad. No glitches/bugs. No navmesh issues. Nice work dude. Not a bad campaign at all.

      • No I don't sorry. I have 0 experince with mapping. I only play and review them :D

      • Glad to know you liked! I really hadn't noticed those tears on map one, and I'll look into them. And that wall blocking the stairs is a bug, I still don't know how to solve it. Do you have any idea how?

End of results.
