      Pros:

       - Nice to your ears and head.

      Cons:

       - Sound becomes a bit weaker.

      Conclusion:

      I'll be honest that I don't really know what (or how loud) a chainsaw like this sounds like. But although the audio is lower in volume now, it's also on the weak and unimpressive side. I honestly couldn't care less if I couldn't hear someone talking, I can usually barely hear them anyway. But it does help hear the in-game sutff better.
So I wonder if the audio for the chainsaw could rather be replaced or maybe even edited.
I wish I could get my hands on the original audio-file and tinker with it, cause I work with audio a lot.
The audio from Valve sounds clipped and thus distorted, which means it's often harsh and not dynamic. If the original audio IS clipped, it should be replaced, if it's not, it can be made better a lot easier.

This is a useful mod, but it also kind of removes the power from the chainsaw, at least in terms of sound.

      HOLY CRAP I CAN USE THE VOICE CHAT AND THE CHAINSAW AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!

      Cons:

      NOTHING.

      Conclusion:

      If you are tired of not being able to hear people telling you to duck while using the chainsaw, then download this.

      Pros:

      - I'm not so daunted to use the chainsaw; don't have to reach for the volume buttons seconds before now. I know they're loud in real life but this is a video game and virtual life doesn't need to be vanilla chainsaw loud...
- Appears to be fully functional, perhaps in part due to it's simple ambition

      Cons:

      - People who like loud might not like this

      Conclusion:

      I'm adding this review because, well, you have earned my aural gratitude. Don't need to go deaf for video game content.

Because it meets its simple goal with a minimally sized vpk and so far hasn't presented any problems, I'd have to say this earns a rare 100 from me. If there's nothing noticeably wrong with this, what justification do I have to say 99?

      Pros:

      You can hear other Special Infected more easily now when you're using the chainsaw.

      Cons:

      None that I can find.

      Conclusion:

      A great mod for people who like to use the chainsaw, or who have friends who do. :P

Even if you don't usually use the chainsaw, this mod is handy. You never know when someone decides "Hey, I'm gonna use the chainsaw riiiight next to my teammates".

Before, I was just using custom sound mods.
Does exactly what it says in the title

      Cons:

      Now, I need this for Rochelle, haha.

      Conclusion:

      Great job, it works and is perfect if you hate pulling out your chainsaw b/c of the noise.
