Has so many alarm cars but still very good.XD

This is a small campaign and not really difficult.^^ Chapter 1 and 2 has no gliches but has so many alarm cars, it's really hard to avoid to shoot them as zombie hordes coming.XD Finale is the best part of the campaign, very detailed and well-designed. However for players who play this map for the first time, it will be slightly difficult to find the route to the rescue point. But overall I still very like this campaign, especially the music in chapter 1 and finale, which are good to listen when fighting some zombies.XD And the view of the rescue point is really nice.^^ Playing this campaign with some friends will be more interesting.XD

      Wasted Potential

      Pros:
      Custom Intro
      Beautiful Last Map
      Custom Music

      Cons:
Weapon Variation is Abysmal. You'd go from Tier 1 to Tier 2 to Tier 1 again
The Last Map is Large but Tedious to Navigate
      Lack of Throwables in Finale
Random Panic Events upon opening doors in Map 3

The last part of the finale has a wide area, good. But across that wide area (which has about 3 flats to climb down to ) are 3 weapon spots and nothing but long walking from one side of the Hotel to the other. This also affects the Tank as you could either simply shoot him while he takes his time climbing each Flat or simply lead him down the long hallway.

      I Really liked It

This was a really good map un my opinion, if its your first campaign then you did a really well job at making it, i got a little confused during the beginning, but then i started to make my way through it fine and enjoyed playing it.

Nice campaign. However, the map design is pretty repetetive and boring, even though it is nicely designed, I didn't really enjoy it that much unfortunately. Other than that, liked it. Plenty of supplies. No botnav errors. No glitches/bugs. Nice work.

      Pros:

      The music at the beginning

      Cons:

Very tedious to navigate. Hardly ever any room to move, and half the cars are alarm cars.
Few directional arrows and no dialogue to help with navigation.
Poorly supplied with weapons. I only saw 1 shotgun and no scoped rifles throughout the first 2 maps.
      Poorly supplied with throwables
Gauntlet in 2nd map doesn't tell you to shut off the alarm until after you've realized it's a perma- horde and run all the way to the alarm.
      Game crashed after map 2

      Conclusion:

Did not enjoy. First 2 maps were so frustrating and tedious, that after my game crashed, I didn't bother doing the finale.
      • My answer to the first cons. On the contrary, it is a realistic shot myself in a lot of cars and enjoyed hordes of zombies but it is real enough, and I like it. :D

      Pros:

      Map design was solid.
Map looked good and was challenging most of the time.

      Cons:

Only 3 stages? The stages could've easily been split up into 4 or 5 sections, stage 2 was far too long.
      Some gauntlets were too difficult!
Finale was also far too easy.
      What's with the car alarms?
Not enough ammo piles or weapon spawns.

      Conclusion:

A decent map if you enjoy frustration or playing on normal/easy. The AI programming wasn't great for the map either. Definitely wouldn't play this map on Expert. It was hard enough on Advanced.

Either way this map had potential but was ruined by having too many alarmed cars, a boring finale and incredibly frustrating gauntlets. As for the weapons and ammo drops, they could be increased.

The car alarms were a major problem because boomers trigger them when killed. So you have AI Boomers idle next to alarmed cars you can't even see.

Also why couldn't stage 2 and the finale be split up? You could've easily had 5 stages.

Campaign has potential but is let down by a lot of frustrating challenges and lack of drops. Some of the crescendo events last way too long and I counted about 4 alarmed cars in the 3rd stage. The AI also failed to do some of the platforming on the 2nd stage.

Maybe I'm being too harsh? Who knows. But unless some things are changed then people will complain about them.

      Pros:

Really good 1st map, albeit it could be more straight
      Challenging
Good looking environment, some decals are looking really nice
      Works well as a lullaby

      Cons:

Idiotic Gauntlet on 2nd map (Nürburgring has less turns than that warehouse or whatever it was)
3rd map... I don't remember anything more boring than this
4 Crescendos on 3rd map caused by... dunno, motion sensors? Smell of Bill's beard? It wasn't anything I could see or hear
      Shitload of alarmed cars
Bots failed with getting into chopper

      Conclusion:

Way, WAY better than Escape From Valencia. Still, I don't see any replayability potential here. Unless you have problems with sleeping.

And one note: despite all it's boringness, it took me 85 minutes to finish this campaign - exactly the same like in case of EFV. Well, at least I laughed at the end :)

      Pros:

      - different
      - good bot nav
      - not completely linear
      - nice urban setting, quite realistic compared to other campaigns
      - many cars to climb^^

      Cons:

      - first map was a bit open, wide streets with some cars but only few buildings to explore or burricade in
      - ran in circles a few times
      - finale too easy

      Conclusion:

This is a nice campaign - with some flaws but also lots of potential for further improvement.

You should add a few more arrows in map 2 and 3 so people dont get lost so easily. If you want them to see all the places you recreated maybe you should move some barricades and change the route to include these areas, make the maps more linear again.

Most areas look a bit to clean. Car wrecks or not, there should be more damage.
The final needs a lot more zombies. Even with three stupid bots and two big tanks on that small roof it was a piece of cake.

Maybe you could let the helicopter veer away (hope this is the right term) when a tank enters the rooftop ... the tennis court would be nice place to land... and maybe the other survivers are already onboard and help you fight off the hords at the pool... just a thought.

      I would've rated this campaign a solid 8, but after "theshwag"s unfair rating ...

      Pros:

-A great big map to explore, if your the survivor or even special infected.
      -Lighting is well done
      -Two words: Dem alarms.
      -Re playable
-Great effort put into making it look like the place you had visited

      Cons:

Nothing really, i don't care about it having a weird ending.

      Conclusion:

Overall This map is great and has a good replay value which you will always enjoy, unless you played it for the 15th time.
Great job and keep growing strong! regardes from CrimsonfFrieght

      Pros:

      + Well & Detailed designs
+ [2nd Chap] Particularly liked the dark areas of the warehouse
+ Design of the pool areas were fantastic
      + Realistic environment and designs
+ Some areas are great for 'Versus' game play, especially
the warehouse part @ Chap 2

      Cons:

+ Pool was empty,no water lol
+ Extremely long way to the outpost
+ Vast areas making the campaign a lot easier to complete
+ Improve on the large areas, can be easily completed even on 'Expert' mode
      + Too few zombies
+ Spawning rate of SI takes a very long time
      + Minor bugs with AI

      Conclusion:

+ Overall it was a job well done to me for a first timer creating a campaign map. Can be further improved and worked on like making the areas smaller, etc.
+ Improve on the navigation too, first timers may not know how to find their way especially @ Chap 2.
+ Arrows for navigation are too unnecessary @ some part of the areas.
+ Give a hint to how to activate the lift @ Chap 3. Many first timers may just be stucked there not knowing what to do.
+ Outpost layout could be improved a lot better but the military defense wall was a fantastic idea.
+ Melee weapons could be more.
+ In conclusion, it was fantastic, had a fun time playing it but can be improved much better!! Looking forward to a better version! Cheers! :)))))

      Pros:

      - A very refreshing campaign for the people who have played all the original L4D and L4D2 campaigns.

      - Hordes are often triggered very easily (That's always a plus in my book)

      - The campaign is mostly wide open space. Always gives you a moment to breath.

      - A good balance of Common Infected and Special Infected, aswell as Witches and Tanks.

      - A unique intro.

      Cons:

      - Not sure if it's a bug or not, but just after you go outside of the saferoom in the first chapter, a Tank appears.

      - If the survivors did not trigger any car alarms, the common infected become a piece of cake which then makes the campaign abit too easy. This is also because of the wide open areas.

      - Very confusing for first time players; In the second chapter, you have to use idling vehicles as a way through. Which is very uncommon in the original L4D and L4D2 campaigns

      - Inproper name for the Chapters.

      Conclusion:

All in all the chapter is fun and very refreshing. Although the little bit of flaws doesn't destroy the atmosphere as much, but fixing alittle bit of the mentioned Cons would earn this a much higher rating.

      Pros:

only 3 chapters but this is a long campaign.
I thought the detail was spot on, especially the resort spot.
The hotel looked exactly how a hotel looks like inside.
Loved the way you have to manoeuvre over the vehicles was well thought out.
Plenty of car alarms made for a hectic fun time.
Lots of replayability here I am looking forward going through the streets again and the hotel.
      Good set pieces.
Finale was great fun and tough enough on normal difficulty.
      Good use of item placement.

      Cons:

A little bit of lag on first couple of maps but nothing much to worry about.
Was half expecting a huge horde to come out when i was in the middle of the resort by the swimming pool.
      Nothing else really :)

      Conclusion:

Had a go at this last night as I was looking for something short to play before I went to sleep. But it turned out to last over an hour and twenty minutes, but I didnt care and wanted it to keep going on as the quality of this campaign is immense, and the concept was just incredible. The resort is just so damn awesome. Full marks must go to the creator on a hell of job well done. Easily in my top ten now :) And might I just add that some people have been giving this campaign terrible reviews and its sad to see some of the best campaigns out there now only have a score of around 6 to 7 and a half. Its a damn crime and most certainly doesnt reflect the authors work with such stupid scores.

      8.5

      Pros:

      Great challenge
      Awesome layout
      Fun as heck

      Cons:

      Like a maze
      Lots of alarm cars
      Non-textured sky
      Bots can't find you

      Conclusion:

Overall it's fun, but it does have a few flaws. The sky, for example, isn't that great to look at and with all the cars it's pretty easy to set them off. Also, the fact that it's practically a maze isn't that fun. And, if you get attacked by a Hunter or Jockey you can sit there for a good minute and not get ANY help.

End of results.
