Much worse than the old version!!

I want the old version back in 2023 and 2024, it was much funnier and much more challenging! This new version 1.7 is bland tho it has some average challenges, I was disappointed when playing it with my team. If it was the old version, I would rate 9.5/10.

Worth to try, but need patiently

So, this campaign is one of the custom campaigns The 5th Survivor added to his non-steam servers in 2020?

I know this campaign was made by 5 other people, but the difficulties are uneven. The 2 first maps were hard and took long to finish, while the 3rd was short and easy. The most challenging map was the 1st but it was starting without guns or supplies. The 4th map is the my most favorite cuz of it's asmotsphere and design,but it's also the map where bots stucked the most. The last was less amazing. The campaign generally is pretty good.

24 - 4 - 2026

A short and fun campaign

A fun campaign but too short. The medkits are rare, but it makes the map more challenging. The finale is a bit spare.

30 - 1 - 2026

A lot of bugs

PROs:
- "Ambushing hordes" (map 1)
- Good "jump-scares" of Car and Witch (map 2) and Tank (map 3)

CONs:
- The maps are too short (map 1 and 2)
- On map 1-3, the guns, ammo, kits were oversupplied while there was no kit on map 4 even both in the safe rooms.
- At the finale, you can defend inside the saferoom so there is no challenge.

BUGs:
- Map 2: You can jump onto a fence from the nearby military truck, and from there you can go out of the map. You will not be able to go back to the main map without using cheats or being idle.
- Map 3: You will find a unfinished backward of a house in a small alley. Bots didn't get in the safe room.
- Map 4: The same bug as map 2. You can jump onto a wall from the nearby car, and from there you can go out of the map. You can go back to the main map by being stuck at some position, and your bot will teleport back to your team.
- Map 5: The stairs at the finale cannot be used.
- The rescue is "successful" even when not all the team get on the vehice.
- The stats summary at the end of game are bugged.

25 - 1 - 2026

Good context but too many of bugs

PROs:
- Good context and plot
- Good challenge at some points

CONs:
- Poor of designing. Lack of details
- Sometime the map is boring and kits are too rare (map 3)
- Bots stuck at some points
- TOO MANY SERIOUS BUGS

BUGs:
- The ending safreoom of map 1 and the starting saferoom of map 2 do not fit.
- Map 1: The first event (the gate) and the second event (the vehicle) can be skipped. (Very annoying)
- Map 3: The gate event can be re-active
- Sometimes you can go out of the main map. (Very annoying)

CONCLUSION:
This map has potential, be playable but has some major drawbacks that make it bad.

22 - 1 -2026

Nothing interesting

A regular campaign with above average design

BUGs:
- On map 1, on the first street after you going out of the bulding or on the third street before you enter the saferoom, there are damaged trucks blocking the ways. You can jump onto the trucks from the nearby utility poles, and from there you can go out of the map. You can go back the main map tho.
- The finale, when you reach the rooftop, there are some crates that if you jump onto the walls from them, and then you can go out of the map. You will not be able to go back to the main map without using cheats or being idle.

21 - 1 - 2026

A pretty good campagin, but it always crashed on map 3

PROs:
- Long map
- Good background, context and atmosphere
- Well challenging. I encountered 2 Witches and 3 Tanks on map 2

CONs:
- The supplies are quite rare.
- Can't play map 3 normally, so I stopped

BUGs:
- Map 1: At the very early of the map, there are 4 damaged cars (which lie before the first alarmed car). You can jump on them, and then jump on the buses which separate the road into 2 lanes. You can go to the right lane, which considered "out of the map", and use that lane to reach the safe room. You can find ways to comeback to the main map tho.
- Map 2: On the way following the lights, sometimes you can climb the hills where considered out of the map. At the end of map 2, when you enter the cave, you can climp on the rock wall on the right side by keeping jumping.
- Map 3 (VERY IMPORTANT!): In the bunker, the game always crashed whenever I throw a pipe bomb! This is so annoying and make me cannot play normally in map 3, no matter when I played the whole campaign from the start, of I played the map 3 from the lobby. So I decided to stop my progress here at map 3!

CONCLUSION:
A pretty good campagin, but map 3 alway crashed my game make me not be able to play the whole campaign. I didn't play the whole campaign, so I can only give points on first 2 maps.

An interesting campaign in new gameplay style.

PROs:
- Good idea of style. Interesting gameplay. Good plot
- Pretty well challenging
- Can play in Single Player even tho it'll be hard
- Excellent finale

CONs:
- There were too many T-2 guns and medkits on map 1
- The secret room on map 2 didn't have countdown clock, and it gave too many stuffs
- There was no boss's health bar on map 3

BOTH Pro and Con:
- It was s bit oversuppied most of time, especially on map 1. But it was necessary on the last map.

BUGs:
None

CONCLUSION:
An interesting campaign to play for new experience.

A simple and interesting map! But got a lots of issues.

An amazing puzzle-solving campaign!

PROs:
- Good ideas of Zelda game's style - unique style.
- Amazing traps and good puzzles 
- Nice rooms, floors, walls,... etc.
- Well placing supplies
- There are boss fights.
- Bosses are tough, but not that hard. You can do it in Single Player, it just takes time.

CONs:
- No instructions. I was surprised and shocked at the skull trap of map 1. I had also been stuck at the giant yellow hands and didn't know what should to do for 3 times of playing, and I thought it was a bug. Only until the 4th time I played the map again, I knew how to unlock the boss room's door.
- No boss's health bar
- Bots are useless and stupid againts boss.
- Only 2 chapter, so there is no true ending. Just a temporary ending to end the campaign smoothy without bugs.

BUGs:
None

CONCLUSION:
An amazing puzzle-solving campaign. It'll be great if it's a full completely Zelda campaign.

Good ideas, atmosphere and well detailed campaign

PROs:
- Very good atmoshere
- Well challenging
- Well placed ammo, guns and med-kits. They are available only in lately of map 1 so it makes more challenge.
- Good traps
- Very detailed map with cool glasses as well as amazing posters.
- Good conversations
- Interesting ester eggs:
+ Map 1: In the "turning off alarm" room, you can find a Sercirity ID card (probably) of the map's publisher, with name: Rina Inverau (??) on it. (Sorry because I could not view it clearly)
+ Map 3: If you play the piano in the house lying at the exit of the tunnel, there will be "something interesting" waiting for you at the church.
- Good iead about the portal as well as the epic rescue of the last map

CONs:
- It was dark sometimes
- The final fight was less amazing. It may easy for someone who already knows.

BUGs:
- Map 1: At the fork of the forest road, there is a rock on the left that you can climb on it, and then jump to "hills" which outside of the map. You can comeback to the main map tho
- Map 2: The starting room has duplicated stuffs, make it having 8 med-kits and 8 tier-1 weapons of each type,
- IMPORTANT: Map 4 crashing most of time! Whenever I played the campaign from the scratch and reached map 4, the game was always crashed when I opened the steel door of the starting room of map 4. I did it twice and it crashed the game both of times. It was annoying cuz I had spent like 2 hours to play the map again on the 2nd time but still got crashed! The 3rd time, I must play the last map from the lobby, and it crashed when I reached the potal and was coming back to the safe room. At the 4th time, it was fine while I didn't comeback the safe room again, but it made me lost interesting.

CONCLUSION:
A good campaign with interesting atmosphere, plots and well challenging. But it would be perfect if the last map was much better and didn't crash the game

A pretty well desined map

As the tittle says, a pretty well desined map, well stuff placed. The campaign has less of wondering CI, this help it's easier to expore the map, but it's also a bit bland tho (especially on map 1 there is almost no wandering zombies).

A good campaign but too hard and bored sometimes

Good sometimes but still bland

PROs:
- Pretty good design
- Some good events with endless hordes
- Well-placed supplies
- The finale is challenge and cool to play with teammates. 

CONs:
- Lacks of details
- IMPORTANT: Too big with many empty rooms, nonsense areas like the cornfields, the family houses, and the forest, water and island of last map, which don't have any item. This makes the maps boring (very IMPORTANT!)
- Last map almost doesn't have wandering CIs across the map

BUGs:
- Map 2: At the very early of map 2, you can go out of the map by jumping over the fence from the petrol car, but you wont be able to comeback without using cheats or being idle.
- Map 3: In the "school" (or whatever), there is a pile of stuffs that separate 2 lobbies. But you can actually go through it, make it as shortcut.
- Map 3: Near the destination room, there is an alarmed car. But it take the horde from that car too long way to reach the survivors
- Map 4: At the end of the train road, you can jump on the militaty car, jump over the truck, and from there, you can go out of the map

CONCLUSION:
The finale and the events is quite interesting, but the whole rest campaign is boring.

A very impressed map!

PROs:
- Impressive atmospheres!
- Majestic views!
- Many good traps
- Good challenging, hard but not too hard. I encountered 2 Wiches + 2 Tanks on map 2, and 3 Wiches + 4 Tanks on map 4
- Very well-placed supplies. The weapons, ammo and pills, med-kits are rare, but you will be supported by the reviving rooms lol.
- Cool music on every map (map 1, 2, 4)
- The finale is exclusive

CONs:
- Somtimes there are 2 ammo piles close to each other (map 1 and 2)
- Sometimes kits (map 2) or ammo (map 3) are too rare
- Sometimes bots get stuck
- No conversation for the radio

BUGs:
- Map 2: At the exit of the trench, on the top rock, you can jump on the near fence (at the right) and go out of the map. You can find a way to comeback the main map tho.
- Map 4: At the last cliffwalk of the canyon, there is a way to comeback which may also make you going out of the map. You can find a way to comeback the main map tho.
- Map 4: At the "water fall" event, you may fell out of the map and die.

CONCLUSION:
A very impressive map with amazing views, lone atmospheres and good challenging (but not too hard). Map 1 and 2 impressed me with lone atmosphere, hard fighting time, nice views, and their music made me chilling. Map 3 and 4 made me scared of... falling out of stairs and out of the cliffways (it's right with the campaign's name lol), and their views were incredible! Last map was the less amazing one because it was much simple than the previoys maps, but it's final fighting had unique style. It took me nearly 4 hours to finish the campaign in advanced difficult with 4 times of restarting. I enjoyed much the map lol. I played this in 2025, this is just a beta version on 2010, but I must say it's much better than many recent campaigns!

Beautiful map but not for playing with bots

PROs:
- Good intro
- Beautiful design
- The map is light
- Rare T2 weapons, only 1 gun from each kind per a cluster
- Map 2 is suspenseful, and the finale is very challenging
- Good in playing with well players

CONs:
- Too hard to play with the stupid bots, especially at the finale
- There is no resting time at the finale. The SI and the hordes keep coming even you haven't started the radio yet.
- The radio takes only 1 time to active

BUGs:
- Map 1: near the alarmed car, there is a military car that you can stand on it and jump over the barriers and go out of the map or go to an area that belong to the nact map, and you will not be able to comeback without using cheats or being idle
- Map 2: The stupid bots cannot enter the destination safe room. That got me frustrating.
- Map3: the med-kits at the finale suddently... disappeared after I went around the map and comeback to their place! (wtf??)
- Map3: You may counted as "rescued" when tho you stand outside (but right beside) of the helicopter

CONCLUSION:
This is a beaustiful and good map. However the finale is very hard due to the terrain of rooftops and there is no closed room to defend. It's not only hard to defend the hordes but also hard to fight the Tank. The other supplieds (pills/bombs) are scattered around the maps and they may be only be obtained when you are fighting the Tank and go to take them at the same time, otherwise they are useless.

Pretty well challenging but lots of minor bugs

PROs:
- Good intro
- Pretty good design
- T2 weapons not spawning too soon
- Two first maps are well balanced

CONs:
- It's dark
- Somtimes lacks of texture
- Too hard to play with bots
- If I'm not wrong, there is no any random AI-generated Tank or Witch. There are only determined Tanks created by the author, and no any Witch in all of the campaign.
- Map 3 gives extra med-kits at easy time but doesn't give at hard time.
- Map 4 is boring after a well challenging map 3
- The finale is very hard when playing with bots  at advanced difficult because there are only 2 med-kits and no any closed room to defend.
- No conversations for the finale 

BOTH Pro and Cons:
- Map 3 is hard and challenge. But it maybe too hard when the T2 weapons spawn too late, especially with the bots and at advanced difficult.

BUGs:
- The poster keeps loading eachtime changing to the next map.
- The in-game map menu doesn't show
- Map 1: the bots cannot get in the store. There also a high invisible wall at the position of a truck.
- Map 2: there is a small garden with a tree that if you enter that garden via the nearby car, you will not be able to comeback without using cheats or being idle.
- Map 2: The alarmed car near the destination room call the event which cannot call the horde.
- Map 3: when you enter the sewer, bots cannot get in first room as well as it's stairs. Bots cannot enter the third room too, which contains ammo, 2 med-kits and T1 shotgun.
- Map3: After the event of Tank, there are barriers with rocks right when you go upstair. If you fall between the barriers and the rocks, you cannot go back. Not long after that, there are some barriers which you can go pass though.
- Map 4: The destination room has some bugged position, which if you stand there, you wont win the map even if the steel door is already closed
- No summary after the finale

A nice city map

PROs:
- Beautiful outlooks, nice buildings.
- Good atmosphere, it's fit well with the maps.
- Very detailed designing. Every room, every path, even the backgrounds outside of the maps look cool.
- Well place supplies, not a few and not too much.
- Good events

CONs:
- The last map looks uglier than the previous maps (cuz it's on a cemetery). Last map is large but nothing interesting, has nonsense spaces. The finale is easy when you can stay on the "safe truck" to defend (ofc if the stupid bots don't try to go out for outside med-kits).

BUGs:
- At the early of map 4, when you go rooftop of the first building to take a molotov, bots cannot go there.

A normal map but with good atmosphere

A normal map but with good atmosphere. The finale is pretty good and hard.

Only first map and last map are worth to enjoy!

PROs:
- Nice credits
- Pretty hard start at map 1 when there are few med-kits and good Tank trap
- Good "fake finale" and good background on last map

CONs:
- Lack of texture
- The tier-2 weapons spawn too soon (since the end of map 1, twice)
- Some redundant tier-2 weapon clusters are placed near by each other (map 1, 2 and espceially final map).
- Quite dark (map 1, 2, especially map 4 very hard to see on the water)
- Many nonsense and empty spaces (map 3, 4, 5, 6)
- When processing from map 4 to map 5, the terrains are changed not reasonable. The destination room of map 4 is at a water-forest land but the staring room of map 5 is in a industrial park/factory area.
- There is no rest time at the finale. The hordes and SI keep spawning. 
- The radio of the finale starts when talk to it only 1 time.

BUGs:
- On map 2, near the destination room there is a shortcut that you can cross the damaged petrol truck to reach the safe room without crossing the building
- On map 4 there is a ship that bots keep go up and go down, and they cannot move over the right beside ship even tho it doesnt need jump to do that.
- On map 4 at the destination after you ring the bell, if you keep staying at the door, the horde won't spawn and therefor, you cannot finish the event and the bell keeps ringing forever, the door wont open and the game will be stuck at that event. You must move far from the door so the horde can spawn and you will be able to finish it.
- Sometimes you can go out of the map when there is no borderline (map 3, 6) and not even able to go back without using cheat or being idle (map 5)

CONCLUSION:
A long and big map with above-average design but lacks of details. It's beginning seems good but later it get boring because of nonsense areas even tho the author(s) had tried to distribute the stuffs evently. Only first map and last map are worth to enjoy. Nothing else interesting

An amazing puzzle-solving map!

It's just good, nothing to complain. Only one problem is it's not ok to play with bots, redcommend to play with friends.

A good zombie-fighting battle!

PROs:
- Pretty good design
- Good zombie traps and events
- Reasonable supplies (except the pills, they are rare)

CONs:
- The maps lack of textures sometimes
- Bad rescue

BOTH Pros and Cons:
- It's short, maybe suit enough with it's difficulty, may also be not long enought for some people who love long maps
- The finale is great! But it's too hard for single player (almost imposible on advanced difficulty)

BUGs:
- The bots doesn't take stuffs at the beginning of the campaign
- Some unreasonable invisible walls
- When reaching the rescue, the survivors are not invincible, they become vulnerable throughout the summary. This can make they died and the game is stuck at starting the map 4 again.
- The summary doesn't work. All stats are 0.

CONCLUSION:
A map which is good to play again to defeat the finale in a better way.

A normal map

PROs:
- The finale is pretty good
- The screaming of the gnomes is funny
- Some pretty events

CONs:
- Ovarall average design, sometimes poor design
- It's dark many times (especially map 2 and 3)

BUGs
- On map 3, there is a fence that you can climb on it by jumping from the nearby car, and it can make you out of the map and not be able to turn back without being idle or using cheat
- On map 3 and map 4, there are houses that you can get inside by passing the windows while bots cannot and they must get inside by going through the main door.

Fine map but too big and oversupplied

PROs:
- Good design and atmosphere
- Good events
- Finale is pretty good

CONs
- Huge maps with many unnecessary places, especially map 1 when we were with tier 1 - weapons. That could make players bored
- Easy because there are too many unnecessary pills and bombs

BUG:
- On map 4, after the event is triggered and it makes a way down to the water, if the bots are led down to the water, they will be stuck around and cannot climb up or teleport to you.

Unfinish campaign

PRO:
- Pretty nice maps

CONs:
- Unfinished campagin, there are only 2 playable maps.
- The maps are lacking of details
- Pretty dark sometimes
- There are too many tier-2 weapon clusters (at least 3) on map 2

BUGs:
- The the big white car of map 2 (which is right front of the door when you go out of the sewer) is throwable by Tank. This was a big lie when I saw a Tank, I and the bots hid behind that car but the Tank 1-hit all of us with just one punch on that car.
- At the early of map 2, the fence between 2 buildings is crossable and it lead out of the map.
- At the later of map 2, when petrol tanker exploded and cause an event, I could also cross the burned fence at the petrol tanker and go out of the map.

Simple but good campaign

There is only one bug: On map 3, in the building, when moving from floor 3 up to floor 4, the bots kept stuck around and then fell on the ground and died. The rest is good.

A very good and potential campaign!

Why no one rate this?

PROs:
- Well arranged map
- Good challenge. There was even Witch on first map
- Well placed suppiles
- Many hard unexpected events
- Good idea about finding paths.

CONs:
- Sometimes bots was stupid
- Unfinished :( Only 2 maps

CONCLUSIONs:
This is a very potential campaign. I would give more points if it had more maps. Unfortunately, the author has seemed abandoning this project :(

Interesting

PRO:
- Amazing background and atmosphere. Good desingned map.
- Fairly long and fairly hard
- Well placing (hidden) supplies

CONs:
- There are a bit redundant med-kits on map 1, while they are more nessecery on next maps
- The finale is too hard when playing with bots

BUGs:
There are always bugs with the safe rooms. Sometimes there were no stuffs in the destinating rooms and they could be spawn only after changing to the next map. Sometimes the stuffs didnt even spawn after I got to next map. This was really annoying at the finale when I really need more supplies.

A pretty good map

PROs:
- Good woody background (beter than "The Wood 1")
- Many unexpected events, make it challenging
- Few stuffs so more challenging

CONs:
- The events can be avoided when you play the map before and got similar to the map
- The finale is bad

A short and simple map

This map is a good challenge when there are few stuffs. The final is hard. However, the background scenes are too simple. Lacking of contents and texture are also it's minus points

PROs:
- Fairly good background
- Witch rooms at map 2 are cool
- The finale is simple but challenge

CONs:
- The path is too roundabout at map 1 and map 2
- Too many unnecessary places (hidden places good for exploring but no supplies)
- There is a minor issue bot navigation at map 2

A long, dark and hard campagin.

One of the best!

I love how apartments, the yards of 1st map as well as the hospital look so dark deserted.

Good!

It's not as dark, horror and long as other apocalypse campaigns, but still a good campagin. The real challenge is at the last map.

A very amazing campaign

A very amazing campaign which can be considered as extended version of Dead Air apocalypse (start at a "green house" and be rescued by a plane).

Perfect Campaign

Nothing to say here. Best of all apocalypse campaigns!

The biggest challenge in all of L4D1 maps! 12 out of 10 points!

PROs:
+ Impressing atmospheres, sounds and contexts
+ Well placing (hidden) supplies, especially bombs, guns and med kits
+ Good bot navigation
+ Very large and endless hordes make the game really challenging. We were high when fighting huge hordes with good supplies and good position.
+ Very amazing while playing in a good team!

CONs:
+ Too hard for single playing

BOTH pros and cons:
+ Sometimes too many med kits. But it's fine and necessary on high difficulties like as Advanced and Expert.
+ A lot of wandering common infected. It may make you a bit tired but will not get bored of killing them.
+ The maps are very long and wide. It's hard to explore all the areas and collect the stuffs alone, but cool to do that with right teammates.

CONCLUSION:
An extremely interesting campaign for a team who are well cooperative and highly patient, and even PERFECTLY when you play with survivor upgrades plugin. It's very hard for single player but can still make you chilling with the large hordes when you are going to kill a whole battalion of zombies! This map is BETTER than it's L4D2 version when you have no melee and must fight the zombies with guns. I give this map 9 points for single playing, and 12 out of 10 points for team playing!

Let's take a picnic!

PRO:
- Beautiful campagin, good context
- Well placed supplies
- Good bot navigations

CON:
- Map 1&2 are a bit lagy (maybe only for me)
- Repeat items at the start room of the final map.
- Like it's L4D2 version, there are too many supplies at the finale. Need to reduce/remove some of them to increase the difficult.

A campaign with amazing context

PRO:
- Interesting atmosphere
- Items good placements
- The Finale is pretty thrilling for the first time playing

CON:
- Two first levels have bug that I cannot see the flame. 
- The paths are a bit too complex
- Sometimes bots get stuck

A intersting puzzle solving and trap passing map with good atmosphere. Guns, ammo and hidden items are placed very well. Medkits are a bit much but it's fine. Unfortunately it's an unfinished campaign with only 3 maps, and has some minor bugs. When I finished map 2 and started map 3, somehow it repeated the items, made it have 8 medkits and 2 pain pills. When I died and restarted, I was spawned in the end room, not the start room. This bug didn't occurd when I play map 3 from the lobby. 1 door of map 3 didn't open so I must use cheat. Anyway, I have enjoyed exploring this map with bots

One of the best puzzle solving campaign I ever played

The difficult is just fit with team 3 players + 1 stupid bot in Advanced level. It took us more than 3 hours to finished. We finished when there were still things that hadn't been completed yet. There are a lot of bombs and kits which help us to stand against the ton of hordes. However, the final battle had some error when the gascan did not re-spawn so we must use cheat.
