Pros:
- Extremely well detailed - Custom models and textures everywhere - Superb lighting and atmosphere - Too much survivors dialog - Creative events
Cons:
- Minor ones...
Conclusion:
I can see you are a great mapper. Maps are very much detailed, ambient lighting is very well applied. Better than many Valve maps in my opinion. Variety in textures, lights and sounds from start to end. I can't see a better L4D1 homage than this campaign. Some events are too creative that can be confuse for some players. But creativity overcames confusion. And you could put some music or sound in elevator to indicate that it is working.
Pros:
- Server browser in menu - Addon list is bigger - Menu icons
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Great menu if don't like to type "openserverbrowser" everytime in console.

Pros:
- Useful because you see if you are adrenalized or not
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
For me it is useful because you sometimes think that adrenaline effect is off but it is not.
Pros:
- Beautiful animated icons - Vivid colors to weapons, you can see clearly the items
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Very nice set of custom icons. Take the Urik HUD and it is complete.
Pros:
- Very nice animated icons and pictures - Different shapes for survivors and infected - Big texts are nicely inserted when you play
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Great HUD for Left 4 Dead 2. If you take too Urik color icons then it stays better.
Pros:
-Varied and realistic decals -None inside blood (it makes no sense to me) because attack comes from outside
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
It brings a realistic feel to safe door. I like that barricade decal because one of words is from my native language (portuguese).
Pros:
- Original beta skin - Your clean appearance remembers really a gambler - Detalied, HD
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Great skin to bring beta atmosphere to L4D2. Now it is missing only Rochelle.
rochelle was the same only she had different hair
Pros:
- Original beta skin - HD - His green cap is nice
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
It seems really the original beta one. Very nice job.
Pros:
- The best beta survivor skin now - It is HD
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Seems that you really has connection with someone in Valve because it is very well done. Thanks.
Pros:
- Every sound is working perfectly, including chainsaw looped one. No noises or cache problems.
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
KF melee sounds are very good. I prefer KF chainsaw because volume isn't too high as L4D2 one. Thanks.
Pros:
- Every sound works perfectly - One SMG sound was "making noise" in previous version because caching problem, now it is fixed
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
For me BF3 weapon sounds are the best ones. And now, mixed with BF4, it is just better. Nice work.
Pros:
- Hairs are very well done - Seems a adventurer - Great make up
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
Hairs moviment are awesome. I never seen a female model with these maleable and long hairs. It remembers me Lara Croft.
haha well im a LAra Croft fan since i was 6. sometimes i make things similar to Lara without thinking :D
Pros:
- Very detailed, much better than Valve one
Cons:
- Screenshot isn't fair with its quality
Conclusion:
It is complete rework of truck texture. Very nice.
Pros:
- Voices fits very well in L4D - Volume is nice
Cons:
- None
Conclusion:
These sounds fits perfectly in L4D zombie infected. You selected the best ones. For me it is the best common zombie soundpack around, if you understand spanish, of course.
Pros:
- Map design is superb, very well detailed - Lighting and atmosphere is great - Finale is much better than previous versions
Cons:
None.
Conclusion:
Not much to say. It is excellent. Very detailed, you have props and models everywhere with nice performance. Really professional map design.

Pros:
- Too much custom content - Ambient atmosphere and lighting is perfect
Cons:
- First map is confusing
Conclusion:
You can see the time spent on every detail of this campaign. You really feel in Japan. The environment is perfect and creates a new paradigm. Very good job.

Pros:
Great modification for original coop HCW maps Too creative panic events Special effects not seen in other maps
Cons:
FPS drop and lag
Conclusion:
In my opinion this version is a big improvement to coop version in several areas. You can see new areas, special effects, music, panic events... too many things showing the commitment of author to really upgrade the campaign. Unfortunately it wasn't brought to coop version, making this versus version virtually unknown to community. L4D1 hasn't script support then author used too much info_zombie_spawn entity to simulate big hordes. If people don't kill the zombies game stays lagged. In finale, that electrical effects in transformers cause fps drops every time it "shines".
Pros:
- Yes, it works online, if server enable custom addons, of course - No consistency problems - Too great new apparance, its face and body moviment is just amazing
Cons:
None
Conclusion:
Man, it is awesome! Fitted perfectly well in L4D2 atmosphere. Its face adds a new feel to Charger. Thanks.
Pros:
- No consistency problems - A completly new apparence to Hunter, not just repaint of original one - It fits in hunter role
Cons:
None
Conclusion:
For me to port well fitted models from different games and sources without consistency errors is just the best. For it you have my 100 note. Thanks.

Pros:
Custom content L4D1 survivors are greatly well used Very nice performance, almost no fps frops
Cons:
Too easy Almost direct port from L4D1 version
Conclusion:
It is a very nice campaign. Seems Valve made. L4D1 survivors are by first time in L4D2 very well used, you hear they talking many times during gameplay. But I think that campaign sometimes is too easy. It is nice to new players but experienced ones maybe will not like it. You will not have too many difficulty to finish it. I feel that it is a direct port from L4D1 version. One example is the rain effects on finale map. In L4D2 you can do something much better than that. Look in Hard Rain effects, it is much more convincing. Seems that authors just used some blinking lights to simulate storms and func_precipitation entity to make the rain. In finale you could spawn 2 simultaneous Tanks in second Tank spawn stage, that area is open enough to enable it. First finale Tank bugged for me while I was playing, it spawned but died, seems nav related. Nevertheless it is a great campaign and deserves to be played for everyone. Very nice masterpiece.

Pros:
Small campaign, nice for a short gameplay Very small file size for a campaign
Cons:
It haven't some specific L4D2 weapons and items Maps layout too linear Few detail in some areas
Conclusion:
I can't see explosive or incendiary ammo, chainsaw, M60 or granade launcher too. Maps are too horizontal, you could to build a building with some rooms and stairs inside, or make a second floor at some places. In overall it is a nice campaign.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Long maps More detail than previous versions Greatly optimized, you haven't fps drops Challenging gameplay Jimmy Gibbs Junior spawns on finale :-)
Cons:
Nav on bridge seems that needs some work
Conclusion:
Dead City is a L4D custom map classic. Since L4D1 I like how it is more harder than average L4D campaigns. On bridge you see zombies spawn just in front of you or spawn below bridge going down falling to the water. Maybe func_nav_blocker helps to avoid it. Thanks.

Pros:
Very creative and innovative elements used in maps Bridge train passage is amazing Nice addition in finale using one more long path Maps are very well optimized Continuously improved by author
Cons:
Rarely I see infinite witches spawning just before first event metal door Not so cool for versus
Conclusion:
This campaign is really very nice. You have from start until end map elements didn't see at any other campaign. Swamps ambient is very well worked. I would like just to know how to do that swaying trees in finale, it is just very cool. :-) One problem that I saw was that when I kill one spawned witch just before first panic event metal door go back and look again to same place other witch appears, and you kill her again, do the same thing, appears other... But probaly it is a director problem, not yours. And about versus, my clan server put this campaign in rotation but people don't like it so much. Thanks for this nice singular piece of work!

Pros:
Creative gameplay using colas Nice usage of L4D2 props and textures to create a different enviroment
Cons:
Few details in some areas
Conclusion:
This campaign is very good. You created a new way of gameplay using colas. It has interesting ambient effects and beautiful areas but some have lack of details. Thanks.
Pros:
Amazing effects in maps Many custom sounds Custom textures and props
Cons:
Too easy
Conclusion:
This campaing is a nice homage to Indiana Jones. It has great effects and custom sounds, finale is specially stuning. The major problem this campaign is that it is too easy. That scavange event is ridiculous. I found only one Tank playing with bots and a finale without one is just odd. If you make the same work done with visuals in gameplay then this campaign will be superb.

Pros:
So much detailed maps with nice lenght Creative horde events Finale is superb
Cons:
It would be good to add a hint in finale saying to players come back to helicopter after to activate fuel truck
Conclusion:
This is one of the best campaigns made until now for L4D2. It has creative events and gauntlets like that train one and finale has a very nice explosion visual effect with a innovative go and back gameplay mode. Maps are very well worked in details. First time that I played it I activated fuel truck but I stayed waiting there hoping for some veicule rescue. You could add a visual hint to players alerting about to come back to helicopter after that.

Pros:
Well done conversion from HL2 maps Nice weapons spawn points
Cons:
Bug allow players bypass cemetery event
Conclusion:
Together City 17 campaign it is a very nice homage for HL2. In cemetery you can jump on a gravestone with a cross placed against wall just after two wood entrance ramps to escape cemetery event if you want.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Optimized for L4D2 events and new possibilities Nice daytime variation
Cons:
None
Conclusion:
It's very nice. Maps are more hard than L4D1 version, optimizing it for L4D2 new facilities, like boomer biles and melee weapons. If you loved L4D1 campaigns then you will get it.

Pros:
It's No Mercy with very nice L4D2 addictions
Cons:
Needs additional addon support textures
Conclusion:
It's much better than No Mercy 2. If you wanna play L4D1 campaigns in L4D2 it's all that you desire. But if you don't want see big red ERROR words in maps you need download a additional L4D1 textures pack in official project website. Radio sounds don't play because Valve until now didn't fix custom sounds in vpk files don't working after The Passing update. It's not author fault.

Pros:
Innovative space ambience Interesting physics usage
Cons:
None
Conclusion:
It's a nice surprise. Better than Mod Stadium in my opinion. Ways that you usage L4D2 engine to create a alien ambience is amazing. That jockeys eggs are fantastic. You deserve win space competition, subscribe to it! Thanks.

Pros:
Creative idea with scavenge and coop together TF2 textures and custom sounds
Cons:
None
Conclusion:
It has a innovative gameplay mode mixing the best of two worlds: TF2 and L4D2. If you play both games it's a must have!
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Super Mario atmosphere very well done Creative interaction using question marks Custom textures everywhere but with little file size
Cons:
Bots are really very dumb sometimes
Conclusion:
Very nice surprise! I really enjoyed play it, remembers so much first Super Mario game. I loved way that you used question marks to give items to survivors or infected enemies. But bots are much dumb in some areas. In finale I stay down behind alarm switch and bots didn't come save me. Thanks!
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Custom sounds Ambience remembers so much Half-Life 2
Cons:
None.
Conclusion:
L4D1 version was amazing, L4D2 version is almost the same, with nice little adds. I played it with 7 friends in Expert and difficulty was nice. They loved this campaign. Thanks!

Pros:
Custom sounds and dialogs create a immersive atmosphere
Cons:
It doesn't use new L4D2 special effects like custom paths, weather effects and textures Too short
Conclusion:
Basically it is a almost the same L4D1 campaign, converted to L4D2. You have some subtle differences although. I think that you could improve it using L4D2 new possibilities, like custom paths, weather events, etc. One thing that shocked me much in L4D1 converted ones is dead bodies on the floor. They are L4D1 ugly dead bodies, you could use L4D2 dead bodies like South Nightmare campaign did. Maybe it is a boring process to substitute one by one but it turns campaign into more familiar L4D2 ambient.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Creative textures, hey, it's Lego! :-) Smart choices about weapons locations
Cons:
Many narrow corridors, do it sometimes too easy No L4D2 specific effects, like custom ways, weather or better lightning
Conclusion:
It's a nice campaign. But, excluding supply and weapons spawns, it seems more a L4D1 one than L4D2. Put better lighting, skybox and custom ways. For a initial beta, it's great. And seems that infected stay lost sometimes. One Tank came and stayed stuck in a stairs with medkits in second map, just before a alarm call. Maybe more invisible ladders for they to climb correct it.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Amazing visuals, you have ice and fire never seen before in L4D Custom music and voices create a immersive ambient
Cons:
Finale is too easy Bug on elevator
Conclusion:
This campaign is superb! It will be hard to someone to win the contest after this one. You have custom music and voices very well implemented interacting with survivors speaks. Fire and ice effects are something really very creative in L4D. My only concern is about finale, it is too easy if you stay near generator waiting for zombies. They come by only one way, on stairs ahead. Put more invisible ladders there. In second map my team spawned on top of elevator. I needed to die to spawn in it.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Custom sounds and music create a terror atmosphere Too much detailed Nice weapons placement, it does you to search for it
Cons:
Too short
Conclusion:
I played with L4D2 and addon support installed, more extra L4D1 assets. I didn't see any missing texture error. One problem was survivor respawn in first map, several times two of them appear below the map. Other problem was in finale, survivors stay out of chopper after it flies out. But these maybe don't happen in L4D1. First map is too easy and short. Only threat is a Tank that appears in a corridor with a broke fork-lift. Custom texts fonts on wall are too perfect for a survivor to write that by hand, use script fonts instead.
This review was posted before the latest release.
Pros:
Custom melee weapon model Open areas to exploration L4D2 random paths implemented
Cons:
Some areas bad optimized Bad signalling for events Some paths are too hard to pass Copy and paste No Mercy areas
Conclusion:
In overall this campaign is nice but has flaws. It was hard to me find finale radio to activate event. You could to put some textual advise at it, not only glow. Forklift event too was strange because it continues to glow after you activate it. I needed activate it some times until I figured out that I needed to go to up jump on sand bags. One time I see 3 tanks, was before a airport entrance I think, had large streets. Some areas are exactly equal to No Mercy ones.

Pros:
So many creative effects Too much detailed Remembers very well Half-Life 2 City 17 Custom Half-Life 2 sounds
Cons:
None
Conclusion:
Man, this campaign is amazing! You have a HL2 feeling playing it, with some surprising creative effects. Fire fog is very well done, I never seen it in any other L4D1 campaign. Breakable floor too is nice. Greatly detailed. And you still have custom HL2 sounds! One suggestion: Work with full integer version number in addoninfo.txt and mission.txt (if you have 2.3, put 2, the lobby will search for servers that have either 2 or 2.3 installed anyway) and remove addonSteamAppID line. It will permit people play your campaign in L4D2 with Addon Support installed (players, if you have problems look at forum).
