Incoming Horde Simulator 2020

This is easily one of the worst campaigns I have ever played.
Everything is ridiculously dark, most of the time, you'd see absolutely nothing outside of your flashlight's cone of light. Bot nav is broken, bots wouldn't even pick up weapons, ammo or items most of the time. The worst thing about this campaign is that the director just won't stop throwing hordes at you, which, to make matters even worse, have their size increased from 30 zombies at a time to 384 (!). SI spawned every two seconds with two at a time. I played this in single player mode with bots on Advanced difficulty and killed 7,648 zombies during my playthrough.

Not recommended.

An absolute nightmare

This is by far the worst campaign I have ever played and given that I have played over 100 custom campaigns, that says a lot.
No visibility beyond 30 yards due to the massiv fog, a broken skybox and constant searching for key items, which would be slightly less frustrating if the director wouldn't be spawning SI and random hordes all the time. Never having played any Silent Hill games before, I was having a hard time finding my way through and locating key items was an absolute nightmare.
The best part was just before the end of the first map, when I found myself in front of a locked door (again) with the key that was supposed to open it simply not existing (I've used the footage provided in the changelog trying to locate the key and searched the place for roughly 40 minutes - there definitely was no key), which had me bring up the console, shutting down the game.

Not recommended.

Fantastic campaign, but it falls short with only three maps

This is one of the best campaigns I have played in years. At no time during my playthrough did the director force any unscripted hordes upon me. The map design is incredibly detailed and you're never left wondering where you're supposed to go next. The amount of weapons I came across was great, although I could have used a bit more variety in terms of melee weapons. I've found a katana early on, replaced it with a chainsaw on the second map and didn't come across anything noteworthy again, just one or two crowbars, a frying pan and one or two axes. The only time I was forced to rely on my pistols was during the finale, which in itself was so unique, I have never played a campaign with an elevator as a stand-in for the rescue "vehicle" before.
I've played this campaign in singleplayer on Advanced difficulty, noone ever died and while I dont recall coming across any defibrillators, I wouln't have needed them anyway.

I highly recommend this campaign.

Overall a well-designed campaign

I actually had to play this campaign twice to reach the end once, because due to some of my add-ons conflicting with each other, the game crashed on the third map of my first playthrough.

Despite this, I was having a great time exploring every map. Thanks to clever use of lighting, I had an easy time navigating through the campaign and the design of each map was fantastic, even though some few areas lacked a bit of detail, especially near dead ends. This isn't very obvious unless you really look for it.
The placement and variety of supplies was excellent and searching for them usually felt rewarding. The only thing I wasn't exactly happy about was the finale, in which throwables were abundant and both the amount and variety of primary weapons to choose from left to be desired. I checked every building and while molotovs, pipe bombs, vomit jars, pain pills and adrenaline were anything but scarce, the only guns I was able to find were a SPAS-12 and an M16 (or, in my case, an M4A1). I don't remember seeing any first aid kits either, but I didn't exactly search every single corner and when out in the open, I tried to stay close to light sources.
During the finale, which had the director throw about 10 Special Infected and two Tanks at me, I was having no hard time holding out sitting on the ammo pile directly next to the HAM radio. The insane amount of throwables also made rushing towards the rescue vehicle rather easy, since the Common Infected that came rushing at me from all directions could easily be taken care of with a well-aimed pipe bomb.
I played through the campaign in single player mode on Advanced difficulty and even though everyone was close to dying at least once throughout the campaign, noone ever died once, although I was well-prepared for the worst case scenario, having a defibrillator with me at any given time and leaving the first aid kits to the bots. I counted a total of 11 defibrillators from the first map to the last.

I highly recommend giving this campaign a try.

Pros:

- Awesome model
- Beautiful scope

Cons:

- The magazine on both models (v_model and w_model) won't be removed while reloading
- The charging handle won't be pulled while reloading
- The flashlight and laser sight attachments are on the wrong side
- arby26's Springfield M1A animations would fit better to a rifle with this size.

Conclusion:

Unfortunately I just can give it a 3/5, because of the disadvantages I've mentioned above. However, a gun shouldn't be rated only due to its animation set. But maybe you could fix that bugs and release the gun seperately with arby26's Springfield M1A animations, too?

Pros:

- Default SSP226 & Glock G30S models
- Fantastic animations - as we know it from arby26

Cons:

- Every single word that's written in here is a waste of time.

Conclusion:

In one word: Awesome.

Pros:

- Default worst-thing-in-life hunting rifle model for those who like to use default weapons
- Awesome animations - again
- Fantastic camera movement

Cons:

- Default worst-thing-in-life hunting rifle model (for those who hate it)... I do hate it, but nevermind

Conclusion:

One single word: Awesome.

Pros:

- the original L4D2 ammo boxes
- high definition quality
- makes me turn off my infinite ammo scripts, because now I have fun looking for ammo

Cons:

- I can't find any

Conclusion:

The original Left 4 Dead 2 ammo boxes in a very fine quality. There's nothing more to say about it. It's worth the download.

Pros:

- very detailed and beautiful model
- it's a SG552, perfect for all those who prefer to use the original weapons (like me)
- not arby26's AK-47 animations (seems to be the default animations, but I'm not sure about that. Whatever, for ME it's perfect)
- no scope (brings more variation to the game)

Cons:

I can't think of any. This was exactly what I'd wanted to have.

Conclusion:

The SIG SG552 in the role of the SIG SG552, with another model and no scope. Perhaps this is the absolutely best replacement for players like me, who prefer to play with complete remakes of the default weapons. If you don't miss the scope or dislike the animations, then you will love this gun, unless you hate it on principle.

As long as nobody gives HyperMetal's AK47 animations to this, I will never replace it. NEVER.

- changes the entire feeling of the game
- most of the sound tracks are fitting perfectly to what they're ment for
- didn't realized any sound glitches

Cons:

- do I really have to fill this out?

Conclusion:

Before downloading this, I'd get stuck in front of my laptop for  ~15 minutes while listening to the preview video and totally forgot that I was very, very hungry. The music is chosen well and I absolutely love it.

Conclusion:

This will be my favorite replacement for the Ingram MAC-10. A beautiful rifle with fitting animations. This is totally worth to be downloaded. For me there can only be ONE better replacement... a black version of this rifle. Green is one of my favorite colors, but I prefer black weapons. Anyways, you did a good job on this.

Cons:

- a little bit too green, if you ask me

Conclusion:

This rifle is AWESOME! I really love SIG guns. This is a good replacement for the ugly standard HK G3.

Pros:

- creepy sounds

Cons:

- some minor bugs with the alert sound (-0.5)

Conclusion:

Everything but the alert sound works fine for me. If the Smoker is alarmed, I will hear the last phrase that was said by a survivor, but it sounds like a mouse is talking. That crushes the whole atmosphere of Slenderman.

Anyway, the sounds are still awesome and creepy.

Pros:

- looks totally realistic
- animations are quite awesome
- custom sounds, so I can use Doktor haus' FNP45 sound mod

Cons:

- none, whatsoever

Conclusion:

This is the most realistic Glock I had ever seen in video games. I had never used Glocks before because in my opinion they're totally ugly. BUT... arby26 is the first person who makes me use them. And I LOVE them.

Pros:

- Nice texture
- Nice sound
- Nice animations
- Simply awesome

Cons:

- Absolutely none

Conclusion:

Totally worth it! *lengthen up review*

Pros:

- Nice textures
- Facial expressions
- Replacement is perfect

Cons:

- Preferred weapons while played as bots don't fit to them (No points taken, because I guess the author can't do anything against that)

Conclusion:

An awesome mod. It's much fun to play with them. Absolutely worth the download.

Pros:

- Better than the original scout rifle.

Cons:

- Ugly gun with ugly sounds.
- Way too small.
- The reload animation after every shot is too slow. 

Conclusion:

This gun gives variation to the scout rifle, but it's way too small and the sounds are absolutely horrible.

Pros:

- "Cheaters to the wall"? No. Cheaters for the win.
  Using cheats without getting unable to earn achievements. Nice.

Cons:

- NoClip isn't usable, but this is not the author's fault and there's NOTHING that he can do to make a NoClip cheat.
- Other players can see you cheating. No points taken, cause I think that the author can't do anything to change this.

Conclusion:

Stop waste your time fooling around, hit the download-button. It's absolutely worth it, trust me.

Pros:

- The Beretta M92 was always one of my favorite pistols.
- The sounds and HUD icons are quite awesome.
- Each gun has 12 rounds. In my opinion, it doesn't fit for a Beretta, but it gives variety to the pistols.
- Black, shiny finish. This is way better than chrome, silver or looks-like-plastic.

Cons:

- I really HATE the reload animations. I think, the cz75 animations would fit better on this awesome handguns. -0,5 points taken.

Conclusion:

The Nightstalker Berettas are one of the best pistol mods ever made for L4D2. The sound is great, the look is awesome. Before I found them, I've used Doktor haus' "Beretta 92FS (CZ75 anims)", which has unbelievable ugly sounds that makes the guns sound like Soft Air guns.
If you're looking for well-designed pistols, do yourself a favor and press the download button. You won't regret this.

- you can hear the magazine hitting the ground when reloading it
- gives that ugly scout rifle the best reason you can find to use it
- I LOVE IT!

- VERY, VERY long... and I LOVE long rifles * . *

Cons:

- the firing sound is horrible... if possible, change it please (-2.0)
- stucks in the floor (-2.0)
- reload animation is too slow (-0.5)

Conclusion:

The gun looks beautiful, but it sounds horrible - just too quiet - and it looks like it stucks inside of the ground when it lies there. One of my favorites, but it need some fixes.

Pros:

- looks awesome
- sounds perfect
- gives the best reason ever possible to use that ugly cricket bat

Cons:

- makes every katana sounds like a light saber (this can be undone by deactivating the shovel in your addon list) >> -5.0 for that very awful problem

Conclusion:

A simple, but awesome showel which brings you the best reason imaginable to use the ugly cricket bat and it's SO MUCH FUN to mess some zombies up with it. But, unfortunately, it makes your katana - no matter which one - sounds like a light saber. This problem doesn't only appear on me, it appears on everyone I've asked about it... and this were ~50 people (!). Fix that problem, send me a message and I will use your showel further and give you a better review for it. It's an awesome weapon with an awful bug, but - for those who use light saber katanas it doesn't matter - it's worth it.

Pros:

- looks like a very-often-used shotgun and... well, I will use it often, too. *laugh*
- never seen a well-detailed shotgun like this one
- excellent sound, better than the sound of the one I've used before
- reload animation (which right-handed guy holds his shotgun in his right hand while reloading? Shotguns are heavy, dammit *laugh*)

Cons:

- can't find any

Conclusion:

Don't waste your time on watching the video, download it! NOW! XD

Pros:

- looks very nice
- it's a beeping hand grenade... who does not want a beeping hand grenade? *laugh*

Cons:

- when dropped, it rolls over the ground until it hits a barrier... and this is quite awful. (-0.1)
- hangs a little bit too low on the belt (-0.1)
- can't be hit with a melee weapon (but perhaps this problem only appears on me, so no deduction)

Conclusion:

Hand grenades have to be in everyone's weapon set and this one is a must-have for all those who hates the appearance of the standard pipe bomb. Except for a few small blemishes the grenade is a true masterpiece.
