Initial Impressions: After all these years, you'd think someone would finally make a Minas Tirith map, and here are
Pros:
The set piece is just amazing
Events that progress throughout the map
Siege towers that increase the difficulty
Music from the source material is always welcoming
Cons:
After the first section, 1 or 2 of the bots would just climb down the gate ladder for no reason
Once we got through the first barrier, the bots stopped picking up ammo
Some of the bots would just start endlessly hugging the barrier to the third section of the map
"The Battering Ram is approaching" it hardly budged
Even after 10 mins the stairwell barrier heading towards the courtyard would just not open
Conclusion:
Obviously this is just the beginning and we bound to get a number of updates but from what i've played "It's a start"
Hi. Thanks for your amazing feedback! You are right, its still a start and many updates are still to come. From what I've seen so far is that:
1) Bots behave very strange on some parts. (going down, not using all weapons, not picking up ammo all the time)
2) The barrier to the courtyard takes a long time to open (every barrier needs more time than the previous one), I am going to change this and make it more clear as to when it will open.
3) The map is experienced as a little bit ''too'' hard. I would like to hear this from more people first before actually changing the difficulty. I myself prefer having a very hard time to make it to the last part but I must admit that I died a lot of times too which can get very frustrating.
Before I'm going to update the map again I want to hear as much as Cons possible. The map takes some time to compile so I want to fix as much as possible in one update.
