25% of common infected are clowns (which attract other common infected) and 25% of common infected are riot cops (the ones that are vulnerable only from behind except with explosives.) The other 50% of commons are not affected, so you'll still see the commons you normally see in a given campaign. This mod makes the game much harder, regardless of skill level.
