      8.6

      Pros:

      + Dark and moody
      + Fluent layout
      + Good level of detail
      + Challenging

      Cons:

      - Minor nav issues

      Conclusion:

I love the dark environment that not many mappers dare to tread in, and the layout of the map is flows really well together. You paid good attention to detail in most areas and the gameplay was rather challenging.

There were some minor nav errors with some props and the zombies. The biggest culprit I found was the refrigerator, you could sit on top of it and the zombies had a large amount of trouble getting to you. Some areas could have used more details in them; however, overall the detail was pretty well done.

I would, if I were you, go back and work on the minor nav issues, particularly the refrigerator problem I mentioned. You have a pretty well done map and all it needs now is the finishing touches.

      Gameplay: 44/50
      Aesthetics: 26/30
      Uniqueness: 8/10
      Replayability: 8/10
      TOTAL: 86/100

      9.1

      Pros:

      Great sense of mood
      Well thought out
      Balanced
      Very Fun
      Challenging

      Cons:

      Somewhat bland looking
      No Smokers on the Roof
      Minor Pathing Issues

      Conclusion:

I hope people give this map a chance. It's not flashy, but it makes up for that in substance and game play.

There's a story to be told here in the details. Who was that buried out back? Who used to live here? Why are there so many adrenalin sticks in the kids bedroom?

The map feels balanced. There's no one obvious best spot and no obvious terrible spots. Each area feels weighted with pros and cons. No doubt a competent team can earn gold, but they will have to do just that: earn it.

Overall pathing seems fairly good. Common Infected and Specials were all able to reach their destinations, perhaps with some slight confusion along the way. Tanks often seemed to take the long way around when more direct routes were available. You do get the sense that mobs come from all directions, and that is to the maps benefit. However, one side of the house seems completely closed off to outside influence. It might be worth more destructible walls just to create balance, for example the side wall in the living room. I think it might make for more interesting game play if more of the deck were destructible.

Having said all that, the map is a great success because it is fun and balanced. I've spent a significant amount of time on it and it is fun and interesting every time. Great job. Look forward to more from you.

      8.2

      Pros:

      Very dark
      Challange
      Weapon variaty
Not too big or too small map
      Awesome wood
      Good design

      Cons:

      Need weapon upgrades
      Windows (see conclusion)
      Very hard to defend

Zombies have a hard time getting up on some props (and stairs)

Should be more breakable stuff (and physics)
      Minigun would be awesome

      Conclusion:

To start with, let me say I really enjoyed this map! I really like the dark enviroment and the spooky feeling you get while walking around in the forest with zombies attack you :)

But just as most maps with a first release, it have things to fix.

I suggest you add weapon upgrades (laser sight, explosive/fire ammo)

If I shoot the glass and then break the wood around it, its acting like glass. So break the wood part of the window and it sounds like glass.

Dark, zombies can get in everywhere, lack of weapon upgrades/melee... very hard defending.
I like challange but improving the possibilitys for campers should be a bit better I think.

Sometimes, common infected and some specials have a hard time getting up the stairs and some of the props.
But its a regular problem many maps have. If you can make it a bit easier for them, I would not mind.

It should be more breakable stuff! Like the white wood at the stairs (screenshot 4) you know, like Death toll finale.

And you should add a minigun upstairs.

Otherwise its a very fun map to play. Great work for a first release!
